This document provides information on recent policy changes to the Defense Travel System (DTS) and new Full Time Support Management Control System (FTSMCS) for managing leave that could save money and time. The changes include clarifying guidance to prevent mischarges in DTS from unauthorized travel. FTSMCS allows service members to request and supervisors to approve leave digitally, integrating leave tracking into a single online system. The document encourages all Army leave to be managed through FTSMCS beginning in July 2012. It also provides links to user guides and a white paper with more details on the changes.

Texas and ISO Dwelling Fire Comparison presentation with notesimgains
This document compares several Texas dwelling fire insurance forms (TDP1, TDP2, TDP3) and an ISO dwelling property form (DP3). It analyzes the different forms' coverage for things like personal property off premises, business personal property, motor vehicles, watercraft, various perils, vandalism/malicious mischief, theft, water damage, freezing, animals, extensions of coverage, and valuation/loss settlement. The TDP3 and DP3 provide the broadest coverage for many items, while the TDP1 often has the most limited coverage. Loss of rents/rental value coverage and improvements/additions coverage also vary between the forms.
The document is a presentation by Tim Salaver of Dana Software Inc on rebuilding after a disaster. It provides details on defining a disaster plan, carrying out risk assessments, drawing up the plan, and testing, implementing and monitoring the plan. It highlights the importance of having a plan to deal with disasters effectively and continue business operations. Case studies are presented to emphasize the costs of not having a proper plan.

This document presents a study on communication. It defines communication as the sharing of information between individuals through three primary steps: having a thought or idea, encoding it into a message, and the receiver decoding the message. The document then discusses various definitions of communication from different authors. It proceeds to identify several common barriers to effective communication, such as noise, time and distance limitations, information overload, language barriers, and cross-cultural differences. In the conclusion, the document summarizes that effective management of communication requires consideration of rhetoric, identity, and goals, and discusses best practices for managerial communication.
Lightning Talk #9: How UX and Data Storytelling Can Shape Policy by Mika Aldabaux singapore
How can we take UX and Data Storytelling out of the tech context and use them to change the way government behaves?
Showcasing the truth is the highest goal of data storytelling. Because the design of a chart can affect the interpretation of data in a major way, one must wield visual tools with care and deliberation. Using quantitative facts to evoke an emotional response is best achieved with the combination of UX and data storytelling.
This document summarizes a study of CEO succession events among the largest 100 U.S. corporations between 2005-2015. The study analyzed executives who were passed over for the CEO role ("succession losers") and their subsequent careers. It found that 74% of passed over executives left their companies, with 30% eventually becoming CEOs elsewhere. However, companies led by succession losers saw average stock price declines of 13% over 3 years, compared to gains for companies whose CEO selections remained unchanged. The findings suggest that boards generally identify the most qualified CEO candidates, though differences between internal and external hires complicate comparisons.

While we help both officers and enlisted folks, the majority of roles we have for enlisted personnel are for those with technical backgrounds (mechanics, maintenance, electronics, etc.), as those are the jobs that companies give us to fill. For officers, we can work most backgrounds, but the most opportunities are found for the O-3 level folks, senior O-2 and Junior O-4 individuals and in the maintenance, engineering, and supervisory roles (positions with large number of people under you that you supervise)....outside of that the opportunities are in smaller amounts and it can be hard to accommodate.
Below is a list of current job openings we are sourcing for. I have provided this list (snapshot) for you to review. I am sending this list to a number of people so it has not been tailored to meet your specific preferences. Please review the entire list then call or email me to receive more information about jobs you would like to learn more about. If you are interested in an opportunity and are not an active candidate, please include a resume and your military rank/background in any emails.
You are welcome to share this list with other military service members and veterans planning a career transition.

The biomechanics of running involves the study of the mechanical principles underlying running movements. It includes the analysis of the running gait cycle, which consists of the stance phase (foot contact to push-off) and the swing phase (foot lift-off to next contact). Key aspects include kinematics (joint angles and movements, stride length and frequency) and kinetics (forces involved in running, including ground reaction and muscle forces). Understanding these factors helps in improving running performance, optimizing technique, and preventing injuries.

GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS AND GASTRITIS
Osvaldo Bernardo Muchanga
Gastrointestinal Infections
GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS result from the ingestion of pathogens that cause infections at the level of this tract, generally being transmitted by food, water and hands contaminated by microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Rotavirus among others that are generally contained in feces, thus configuring a FECAL-ORAL type of transmission.
Among the factors that lead to the occurrence of gastrointestinal infections are the hygienic and sanitary deficiencies that characterize our markets and other places where raw or cooked food is sold, poor environmental sanitation in communities, deficiencies in water treatment (or in the process of its plumbing), risky hygienic-sanitary habits (not washing hands after major and/or minor needs), among others.
These are generally consequences (signs and symptoms) resulting from gastrointestinal infections: diarrhea, vomiting, fever and malaise, among others.
The treatment consists of replacing lost liquids and electrolytes (drinking drinking water and other recommended liquids, including consumption of juicy fruits such as papayas, apples, pears, among others that contain water in their composition).
To prevent this, it is necessary to promote health education, improve the hygienic-sanitary conditions of markets and communities in general as a way of promoting, preserving and prolonging PUBLIC HEALTH.
Gastritis and Gastric Health
Gastric Health is one of the most relevant concerns in human health, with gastrointestinal infections being among the main illnesses that affect humans.
Among gastric problems, we have GASTRITIS AND GASTRIC ULCERS as the main public health problems. Gastritis and gastric ulcers normally result from inflammation and corrosion of the walls of the stomach (gastric mucosa) and are generally associated (caused) by the bacterium Helicobacter pylor, which, according to the literature, this bacterium settles on these walls (of the stomach) and starts to release urease that ends up altering the normal pH of the stomach (acid), which leads to inflammation and corrosion of the mucous membranes and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
In addition to bacterial infections, gastritis and gastric ulcers are associated with several factors, with emphasis on prolonged fasting, chemical substances including drugs, alcohol, foods with strong seasonings including chilli, which ends up causing inflammation of the stomach walls and/or corrosion. of the same, resulting in the appearance of wounds and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
Among patients with gastritis and/or ulcers, one of the dilemmas is associated with the foods to consume in order to minimize the sensation of pain and discomfort.
