This study aimed to identify the molecular weight of Shigella dysenteriae adhesion molecule receptors in mice enterocytes, determining that the primary receptor has a molecular weight of 11.65 kDa. The research utilized SDS-PAGE and hemagglutinin tests to analyze receptor binding. It concluded that this 11.65 kDa protein plays a significant role in blocking Shigella adhesion, highlighting the need for further research on its characteristics.
