2. Entrepreneur concept
Entrepreneur is a term derived from the
French word entrepreneur, and it is commonly
used to describe an individual who organizes
and operates one or more companies, taking
some financial risk in the venture.
1964: Peter Drucker: An entrepreneur
searches for change, responds to it and
exploits its opportunities. Innovation is a
specific tool of entrepreneurs, so an effective
entrepreneur transforms a source into a
resource.

6. Supported Self-Employment
self-employment as an entrepreneurial
activity, as an alternative to the labor
market, through which a person can carry
out an economic activity independently
working for himself/herself through a
business, both trade in goods and services,
which directs, manages and runs, and can
generate employment and wealth for the
community.
7. Self-employment is the work activity carried out by a
person who works for himself/herself directly, either in a
trade, a profession or business. That economic unit is
his/her property, and directs it, manages it and gets
income from it. It is an alternative to the labor market,
which transforms the worker into a business
entrepreneur, instead of being an employee or
subordinate of another person or organization. We can
identify as an entrepreneur the person who uses his/her
capital and his/her efforts to create jobs, whether for
himself/herself or for more workers.
9. People with special difficulties of inclusion require individualized supports to
access the open labor market, the establishment of this supports should be in
the hands of qualified professionals that ensure quality and success in the
inclusion.
Supported self-employment is the derivation and implementation of the
validated methodology of supported employment for people with different
needs but with entrepreneurial capacity.
The system as a whole aims to raise these people to the category of active
citizens who contribute like others in the construction of society. In the process
is involved a professional, called Job Coach for Self-Employment, responsible
for establishing the necessary support, to achieve full autonomy of the worker
in the workplace. Also in the areas of self-employment we want to maintain a
similar methodology, accompanying the person providing him/her the
empowerment needed in his/her career towards entrepreneurship. In order to
do so, we adapt the figure of job coach into a job motivator. A profile that
looks for the emotional coach and combines it with knowledge in the
business world and management.
