2. Abstract
• Fire alarm system is vital for power plant. However, it's difficult for new
employee to operate it at first. In order to simulate fire alarm system of
power plant and provide training service for those related staff, a fire
alarm simulation system which is referred to as FASS is proposed in this
paper. The FASS is designed with 8-bit high performance processing chip
STM32F407 and Ethernet chip W5300 and it can simulate the actual fire
alarm system for fire monitoring, alarm and processing, etc. Compared
with the actual fire alarm system, fire alarm and breakdown signal of the
system is sent to the lower computer from upper computer through the
network, and then the lower computer processes the fire and breakdown
alarm signal and feed it back to the upper computer. First of all, according
to the function of fire alarm simulation training system, the overall design
of the system is put forward and its working principle is expounded. Then
the design idea of the system hardware is introduced in detail and
software flow charts are given. Experimental results and analysis
demonstrate that FASS can simulate the actual work of the system
effectively and operate reliably.
