SUBJECT: Case No. 826F – 241 Fair Oaks E
Request of Blair Jones of Blair Jones Co., owner, for the compatibility review of the
proposed design located at 241 Fair Oaks E in order to construct a new single-family
residence and accessory structure.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The property is zoned SF-A and is located on the north side of Fair Oaks E between
Vanderhoeven and N. New Braunfels.

The case was reviewed at the February 22nd
special meeting of the Architectural Review Board
(ARB). ARB found no significance to the existing structure and recommended approval of the
demolition and proposed designs for the new construction with the suggestion that there be
consistency in the windows and trim. City Council approved ARB’s finding of no significance and
approved the demolition. Due to confusion with the notification process for this case, City Council
voted to table the compatibility portion of the case for the March 22nd
meeting following a new
notification process.
FISCAL IMPACT
No projected fiscal impact from this project has been calculated.
