Production in Italy, linked strictly to the production of the FIAT Chrysler Automobiles
(FCA) Group and the Volkswagen Group. No other major foreign OEMs is producing in
Italy. The FCA Group, one of the top 10 players in the world has cut their production in
the last decade. Italy is one of the countries badly affected by the crisis.
Poland and Brazil are becoming major production locations for the Italian automaker
globally. The substantial investment of FIAT in Serbia, the Kragujevac plant, will make
what was once purely Italian production more globalized.
