- The document discusses how the Bible prophesied the rise of Islam in the book of Revelation.
- It describes how the last 3 trumpets (woe trumpets) would bring attacks on the eastern Roman Empire, leading to its destruction, marking the introduction of a "new religion of darkness."
- It argues that this new religion was Islam, which emerged from the deserts under the leadership of Muhammad in the 7th century AD, darkening the light of the gospel message across the Middle East and North Africa.
- The document discusses the biblical prophecies about Islam and terrorists in the book of Revelation.
- It describes how the last 3 trumpets mentioned in Revelation 8-11 are called "woe trumpets" and will bring even more terrible events than the first 4, including the introduction of a "religion of darkness."
- It suggests that this "religion of darkness" is Islam, which emerged from the deserts ("smoke") under the leadership of Muhammad, who it says was symbolized as a "fallen star" who was given authority over the "bottomless pit."
The document discusses the sign of Jesus' return as prophesied in the Bible. It explores the story of Jonah and Nineveh and how Jesus referred to this as a sign. It suggests something was missing from the original Jonah account that is revealed in the Gospels. It examines Jesus' words about the sign of his coming being like the sign of Jonah and suggests we may have already seen this sign.
The document contains a prophecy from Gwendolen Song about a massive distress coming against Israel due to the execution of one of the Two Witnesses, who is revealed to be Prophet David Owuor. She receives a vision showing Owuor being killed by ISIS agents in Jerusalem, which causes God's wrath and a massive earthquake that destroys half of Israel and kills many people. The prophecy references biblical passages about the Two Witnesses from Revelation chapter 11. It also discusses how the Two Witnesses and 144,000 will bring healing and revival during the Great Tribulation, as referenced in Malachi chapter 4.
God will judge the whole world for rebelling against his sovereignty. All human institutions and rulers that have opposed God's plan will be destroyed. The earth will be laid waste as both the powerful and powerless are judged equally. The world faces this judgment because people have violated God's laws and broken his covenant. As a result of this sin and rebellion, society has become morally corrupted and is disintegrating. Only a remnant of faithful people will escape this coming judgment from God.

The document provides a detailed summary and analysis of Daniel chapters 10-12. It summarizes that Gabriel explains future historical events to Daniel, starting with kings of Persia after Cyrus and leading up to Alexander the Great. It notes that God was directly involved in influencing these kings, like Cyrus, to accomplish the work of returning Jews to Israel, and that believers can have confidence like Daniel during future times of crisis.
The idea of Doomsday with its first century End Time ideas has never been adequately explained. Yet 'The End is Nigh' philosophy still hangs around in the twenty-first century with robust tenacity. After 2000 years of looking away from the first century Futurism is the preferred explanation. What did we miss? Whatever it is it must be subtle and very different from present explanations that turn their backs to the first century and toward our own.
But hey, wait a minute! What did Jesus say again? "Truly I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away until all these things come to pass." Mtt 24:34. What if....???
What if He really meant what He said? What if He was talking to His contemporary generation and not us? What if WE are looking the wrong way when we skip the first century and face our third millennium future? What if He was right and WE are wrong? What if it is a matter of a modern mind misunderstanding an ancient book? What if we are just repeating an unfruitful formula of Futurism by ignoring Jesus? And what are the fruits of Futurism? What does a thousand-year historical review of Futurism demonstrate?

The document discusses the origins and meaning of the term "Lucifer" in the Bible. It begins by examining the popular Christian belief that Lucifer was an angel who rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven. However, the document finds that "Lucifer" is actually a Latin word meaning "morning star" or "light-bearing," and the correct biblical translation is "Day Star." It then analyzes references to the "morning star" and finds they refer to the planet Venus appearing before sunrise. The document concludes that the reference to the "Day Star" falling from heaven in Isaiah 14:12 is not about Satan, but rather is a taunting poem against the king of Babylon using symbolic celestial language common in
The document provides an introduction to the book of Jeremiah and the prophet Jeremiah. It discusses the context, timeline, and key events of Jeremiah's ministry. Jeremiah prophesied during a period of political instability in Judah, witnessing the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC. The document examines Jeremiah's life and theology through analysis of passages in the book of Jeremiah.
The document discusses Satan's rebellion and God's response throughout history, culminating in a final demonstration and resolution. It notes that 6,000 years ago God and Jesus rejected Satan's plans, 2,000 years ago angels did the same, and in the near future the 144,000 will understand and reject Satan despite intense persecution during the time of Jacob's trouble. God will then seal the 144,000 to demonstrate His ability to correctly identify the righteous. After 1,000 years, the wicked will understand but reject God, leading to their final destruction and Satan's admission of God's justice and authority.
The document summarizes Daniel's vision in chapter 7 of the Bible. It describes four beasts representing kingdoms, with the fourth beast being Rome that later splits into the Roman Empire and Papacy. Daniel is shown a judgment scene where God sits on His throne and judges the beasts. Zion: The Rock - Prophecy In The News Magazine - July 2006miscott57
This document discusses the roots of Islamic hatred for Zion and Israel. It argues that this hatred stems from Islam rejecting the biblical land grant that God gave to Abraham and his descendants, which includes the land of Israel. The document notes that Islamic clerics dismiss the biblical books of Moses but secretly know about the promised land grant. It also discusses how Zion symbolically represents the Jewish Messiah, Jesus Christ, who is referred to as the foundation stone in the Bible. The deep spiritual reasons for Islamic opposition to Zionism are that it threatens their belief system and the glorious Islamic kingdom they believe was promised by Mohammed.

The document discusses SNAPbasket, a proposed SMS and web platform to help low-income individuals in Los Angeles make the most of their grocery budgets. Over 1 million people in LA rely on SNAP benefits, but lack easy access to pricing information. SNAPbasket would allow users to create shopping lists and access text-based grocery deals and prices. The founders aim to partner directly with EBT data and crowdsource information, with an initial rollout in South LA. A survey found users prefer a website or text service over an app. The interdisciplinary team will next hire a developer, partner with community groups, and test SNAPbasket in South LA.

The document provides a summary of the biblical book of Revelation chapters 8-9 and 11:14-19. It describes how the seven trumpets in Revelation depict the military history of the Christian era and the effects on the church. The first four trumpets symbolize the collapse of the Roman Empire through invasions by groups like the Goths, Vandals, and Huns. The fifth and sixth trumpets represent the rise of Islam and the conquests of Arab tribes. The seventh trumpet signals the final period when God's end-time church preaches to the world.
The document summarizes Revelation 9, which describes the sounding of the fifth and sixth trumpets. It explains that these trumpets represent the rise of Islam ("Mohamedism") from the 7th century onward and the actions of the Ottoman Empire from the 13th to 19th centuries. Islam is portrayed as a religion of darkness that spread across Northern Africa and the Middle East. The time periods mentioned in Revelation 9 for the two woes are interpreted as referring to the duration of Islamic influence and the Ottoman Empire's control over Eastern Europe.
When the Antichrist (Abomination of Desolation) sits in the temple in Jerusalem and proclaims himself to be god, then the end is very very near. Jesus warns them to “head for the hills” because “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.” This sounds pretty bad… Not Yet Fulfilled, but when it is, it’s just before when Jesus returns. As he said “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive (Mat 24:16-22).” This is when Jesus returns and stops all the madness, throws the Antichrist into the lake of fire, and establishes His Kingdom on Earth.

The Dead Sea Scrolls and Fulfilled Eschatology ; Powerpoint PresentationTodd Dennis
2007 Carlsbad Conference presentation of "The Dead Sea Scrolls and Fulfilled Eschatology" - To be used in conjunction with Audio Tapes available from http://www.preterist.org/preteristbookstore.asp#Audio_MP3s
Ed Stevens - "Todd Dennis' presentation on the implications of the Dead Sea Scrolls for Preterism was superb! It was material I have not seen any preterist ever deal with. That one lesson is worth the price of the whole set! "
The document discusses four main interpretations of the book of Revelation:
1) The preterist view sees the events as pertaining to the past, specifically the Roman Empire of the 1st century AD.
2) The historicist view sees Revelation as a panoramic view of history from the 1st century until the second coming of Christ.
3) The symbolic view sees Revelation as portraying the ongoing conflict between good and evil throughout human history, with good ultimately triumphing.
4) The futuristic view asserts that chapters 4-22 deal specifically with end times events related to the second coming of Christ.
Bible prophecy tells us that the time is coming when the world will be united under an incredibly intelligent, charismatic, powerful, evil man. And it states that the Antichrist’s coming will be according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders. The antichrist will exalt himself above all that is worshiped or called God and he will force everyone to take a mark (called the mark of the beast) or they will be killed. The bible gives a stern warning and demands that no one is to take this mark.
This document compares Islam and Christianity by examining their core beliefs. It finds that while they share some common beliefs in God and prophets, Islam contradicts Christianity in its teachings about Jesus. The Quran portrays Jesus as a prophet rather than the Son of God, and denies his death and resurrection. In contrast, the Bible's account of Jesus and its prophecies are corroborated by miracles. Overall, the document argues that Christianity's teachings are based on truth, miracles, and love, while Islam's are founded on contradictions to the Bible and promote hatred.
The document discusses the origins and beliefs of Kabbalah and its influence on the Knights Templar. It claims that Kabbalah originated from ancient Egyptian pagan beliefs and philosophies that were introduced to the Israelites. Some key points:
- Kabbalah incorporated concepts like a pluralistic view of God and the divinity of humans that contradicted Jewish monotheism and were similar to Egyptian paganism.
- The Knights Templar came into contact with Kabbalah while in Jerusalem and may have adopted some of its mystical doctrines. This could explain their later apostasy from Christianity.
- The document suggests Kabbalah, the Templars, and later Freemasonry maintained the suprem
This document provides a summary and analysis of chapters 6 and 7 of the Book of Revelation. It describes John's visions of the four horsemen - conquest on a white horse, conflict on a fiery red horse, scarcity on a black horse, and widespread death on a pale horse. It notes that these represent tribulations on earth. The fifth seal shows souls of martyrs under God's altar, crying out for judgment. The document analyzes the symbolism used and connects various elements to other biblical passages. It aims to interpret and provide context for John's apocalyptic visions.
The document discusses the 7 seals of Revelation and their meanings. The first seal, represented by a white horse, symbolizes the spread of the gospel in the first centuries after Christ. The second seal, a red horse, represents war and bloodshed, particularly the Diocletian persecution around AD 303. The third seal, a black horse, symbolizes famine and moral corruption resulting from the compromise of Christianity with paganism after the Roman emperor Constantine in the 4th century.

The document suggests current trends towards globalization as preliminary steps towards a one world government that will be led by the Antichrist during the tribulation period.
The Antichrist And His Kingdom
Daniel 7: 7 And behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. 23 The fourth beast shall be: a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces. Daniel 8: 23 ...When the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. Rev. 13: 4 And they worshipped the beast (Antichrist), saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 7 ... And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him.
Brochure - NEW REVELATION - About the Second Coming of Jesus Christ - ed 1Simona P
The document discusses the signs of the future and the second coming of Christ as described in the New Testament and elaborated on in the New Revelation. It begins with an analysis of Luke 21:25-26 about signs in the sun, moon, stars and distress among nations. It says most preachers explain these signs through a political lens rather than a spiritual one. It predicts the destruction of religious systems that have become corrupt and stagnant, to make way for a new spiritual temple founded by Christ.
This document provides commentary on Revelation 8 in the Bible. It summarizes the events described by the sounding of the first three trumpets. The first trumpet represents the Goths attacking the Roman Empire between 395-419 AD, destroying a third of the trees and grasslands. The second trumpet symbolizes the Vandal King Genseric ravaging the sea and coastal areas from 428-476 AD. The third trumpet portrays a great star called Wormwood poisoning a third of the rivers and water sources.

The document discusses how the French Revolution was precipitated by the centralization of wealth and power among the few, which led to vast inequality and oppression of the poorer classes. It draws parallels between the economic conditions prior to the French Revolution and trends in the late 19th/early 20th century of monopolization by wealthy corporations and unions, increasing the power of the few over the many and sowing the seeds of social unrest. Bible prophecies are presented as having foretold these events.
This document discusses how the French Revolution fulfilled Bible prophecy about the two witnesses being killed and lying dead for three and a half days in Revelation 11. It provides historical context about France banning the Bible in 1793 and the reign of terror that followed. During this time, atheism and licentiousness spread as the testimony of God's witnesses was silenced. However, the Bible was then tolerated again in France after three and a half years, just as the prophecy foretold. The document examines various events of the French Revolution through the lens of different Bible prophecies.
This document discusses biblical prophecies related to the two witnesses and the beast from the bottomless pit. It suggests that the two witnesses represent the Old and New Testaments, and that their 1,260 day prophecy period ended in 1798. At this time, the papal power fulfilled the role of the beast from the bottomless pit by oppressing the Scriptures. The document explores various biblical passages to support identifying the papacy with the beast from the bottomless pit and linking its rise to divine judgment for not accepting biblical truth.
The document discusses several Bible passages from Ezekiel that describe Ezekiel's vision of God's likeness appearing as fire from the waist down and brightness from the waist up. It provides the text of these passages from several Bible translations. It also includes commentary distinguishing between the literal translation and other translations that use terms like "figure" or "form" instead of "likeness".
The church in Laodicea was complacent and thought they needed nothing, but Jesus saw they were wretched, poor, blind, and naked. Jesus calls on them to buy from him true treasure, righteousness, and knowledge through repentance. He stands at the door and knocks, hoping they will hear his call to turn away from their self-deluded ways and toward him in zealous faith.
The document discusses the four compartments of the Hebrew sanctuary: 1) the encampment, 2) the courtyard, 3) the holy place, and 4) the most holy place or ark of the covenant. It provides descriptions of each area from Bible passages and explains their symbolism, such as the courtyard representing reconciliation between God and man. Personal applications are given, like how the seven golden candlesticks represent how Christians should shine forth Christ's light. The overall message is about sanctification and glorification through understanding Jesus' work in the heavenly sanctuary.
The document discusses the importance of health and following the eight natural laws for physical and spiritual well-being. It notes that poor health habits like lack of exercise, poor diet, and substance abuse can lead to disease and death, just as breaking moral laws can lead to spiritual death. Committing fully to obeying God's health laws is necessary to receive blessings of health, as it is to obey His moral laws and receive salvation. Health reform is meant to prepare God's people for translation and the time of trouble.
Lord Palmerston, the premier of England, was petitioned by Scottish clergy to appoint a day of prayer and fasting to prevent a cholera outbreak. However, Lord Palmerston replied that the clergy should focus on sanitation measures like cleaning streets and houses, promoting public health, and ensuring good nutrition for the poor. These preventive measures, he argued, would eliminate the need for fasting and prayer, as God would not listen to prayers when basic preventive steps were ignored.
Cholesterol can come from both exogenous (dietary) and endogenous (produced by the liver) sources. Dietary cholesterol is found in foods like eggs and animal fats, while the liver produces cholesterol endogenously. Oxidized cholesterol is especially harmful and can damage blood vessels. High levels of homocysteine in the blood can also damage blood vessels and increase heart disease risk. Homocysteine levels are affected by nutrients like folate, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. Caffeine intake should be limited as it can raise blood pressure and homocysteine.
The document discusses the biblical parable of the ten virgins from Matthew 25:1-13. It provides commentary on various aspects of the parable from the writings of Ellen White. Key points include:
- The parable applies to Adventists in the last days as they await Christ's second coming.
- The lamps represent the Word of God, while the oil represents the Holy Spirit.
- The wise virgins study the scriptures intensely and receive the Holy Spirit, while the foolish neglect studying the Bible and do not receive the Holy Spirit.
- At the midnight cry, when Christ returns, the foolish virgins realize they are unprepared without the Holy Spirit.
The document discusses the effects of sugar consumption on health. It notes that sugar intake has risen significantly since the 1900s with the advent of food processing. Several studies are cited showing links between higher sugar intake and adverse health outcomes like cardiovascular disease and diabetes. High blood sugar is noted to aid cancer growth by providing extra energy for cancer cells, increasing insulin and acidity, and impairing the immune system. Maintaining a diet low in added sugars and refined carbohydrates is recommended for optimal health.
William Miller was a Baptist preacher who, through intensive study of the Bible, concluded that Jesus Christ would return to earth between 1843 and 1844. He began preaching this and gained many followers known as Millerites. When Christ did not return on the predicted dates, it caused the Great Disappointment and the Millerite movement dissolved. Some Millerites went on to form the Seventh Day Adventist Church, believing in the imminent second coming of Christ and observance of the Sabbath on Saturday. Ellen White emerged as an influential leader through her prophetic visions which helped shape Seventh Day Adventist beliefs and practices around health, education, and missions.
The document provides information about the ten plagues of Egypt in Exodus and compares them to the seven last plagues described in Revelation. It summarizes key points about the plagues, including who or what was affected by each plague, biblical references, and short explanations. It also addresses questions about God's mercy during the plagues, who will be protected, and the need to prepare one's heart before Christ's return.
Cancer is characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and the ability of cells to invade other tissues. Normal cells grow and divide in an orderly way, while cancer cells continue growing and dividing instead of dying. Cancer develops due to damaged DNA that is not repaired. Lifestyle factors like tobacco use, pollution, diet, obesity, and ultraviolet radiation exposure can damage DNA and increase cancer risk. Antioxidants from fruits and vegetables help neutralize free radicals that damage cells. Exercise, nutrition, and staying at a healthy weight can help prevent cancer development. Cancer treatments include chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, but prevention through lifestyle is most effective.
This document discusses the health benefits of a plant-based diet and the risks associated with animal product consumption. It provides several studies that show vegetarians and vegans have lower rates of chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, diabetes and obesity. Cancer risks are higher with diets high in fat, meat and dairy. Plant foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes contain antioxidants and other beneficial compounds that protect against disease initiation and promotion.
This document discusses Ellen White's warnings about the "alpha" and "omega" of dangers facing the faith, with the "alpha" being represented by Dr. Kellogg's book Living Temple and theories in 1904. She warned that a "omega" would follow with a more startling nature. It provides historical context for Kellogg promoting pantheistic views and unsound policies, with White providing counsel and warnings. The nature of Christ and sin are also discussed, with the importance of not departing from the faith or teachings of the Bible.
The document summarizes the fulfillment of the 6th trumpet judgment as described in Revelation 9:13-19. It describes how in 1449 the Ottoman Empire gained control of Constantinople, marking the end of the 150 years of torment on the Greeks and the loosing of the four angels. The four angels represented the four principal sultanates of the Ottoman Empire located along the Euphrates River that were previously restrained but became unleashed to conquer the territories of the Eastern Roman Empire. The document provides historical context and quotes from sources identifying the armies of the Ottoman Empire under Mehmed II that conquered Constantinople in 1453, fulfilling the prophecy.
The document summarizes the fulfillment of the 7 trumpets, focusing on the 5th trumpet. It describes how the fall of the Persian king Chosroes opened the way for the rise of Islam under Muhammad. After Chosroes' defeat, there was anarchy in Persia for 8 years, allowing the Arabian caliphs to conquer Persia. It then discusses how the invading Islamic armies that arose from the "bottomless pit" or wilderness of Arabia had power like scorpions for 150 "prophetic years" to torment the Roman-Byzantine world from the 7th-13th centuries AD. Their cavalry armies spread rapidly like locusts or horsemen prepared for battle, darkening
The document discusses the events surrounding the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 AD and the rise of papal power that followed. It provides historical context on:
1) Odoacer deposing the last Western Roman emperor in 476 AD, traditionally marking the end of the Western Roman Empire. This created a power vacuum and divided the territory among 10 kingdoms.
2) The conversion of Clovis, King of the Franks, to Catholicism in 496 AD. This alliance between the Franks and the Catholic Church supported the rise of papal authority.
3) The removal of 3 Arian kingdoms - the Heruli in 493 AD, the Vandals in 534 AD,

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

2. September 11
September 11, 2001 is a day that the world
will not soon forget. The entire world
witnessed the horror of people jumping to
their deaths and the Twin Towers of the
World Trade Center in New York City, New
York, USA, crashing to the ground, all a
result of Muslim radicals crashing
airplanes into the Twin Towers. As we all
know, these radicals were driven on by the
teachings of Bin Laden who, quoting from
the Koran, promised them eternal life for
doing these terrible acts.
3. As a result of these terrible actions
on the part of Muslim terrorists,
many are asking, does the Bible
have anything to say about the
Muslims and terrorists? What is the
meaning of these events? Does it
mean the world is soon coming to
an end? Are these events what the
Bible spoke of in Revelation?
4. The truth is that the Bible has
something to say about the
Muslims and terrorists. And some
of what it says has to do with what
is happening right now in the
world.
5. THE WOE TRUMPETS
• In the book of Revelation chapters 8-11
we have a message relating to 7
Trumpets.
• The last 3 Trumpets are called Woe
Trumpets.
6.
7. THE WOE TRUMPETS
Revelation 8:13 “And I beheld, and
heard an angel flying through the
midst of heaven, saying with a loud
voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the
inhabiters of the earth by reason of
the other voices of the trumpet of the
three angels, which are yet to
sound!”
8. SUMMARY
• The last 3 trumpets are also called the
‘three woes’. Why? Because they were
even more terrible than the 4 before them
and also they were different because a
new religion is here introduced into the
world, a religion of darkness.
9. SUMMARY
• The western part of the former Roman
Empire has been brought down in the first
4 trumpets. There is no emperor on the
throne in the city of Rome any more.
Instead the Bishop of Rome sits on the
throne and rules over both the church and
the government.
10. SUMMARY
• So now the 5th and 6th trumpets bring attacks
on the eastern part, where there is still a Roman
Emperor ruling. By the end of the 6th trumpet,
the eastern Roman Empire is destroyed
completely also.
• The word ‘WOE’ or ‘WO’ here, is a cry of sorrow.
The evil ways of men bring suffering and misery
on themselves and others. Only in loving and
obeying Jesus is real joy to be found.
11.
12. Star From Heaven
• Revelation 9:1,2 “And the fifth angel
sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven
unto the earth: and to him was given the
key of the bottomless pit. And he opened
the bottomless pit; and there arose a
smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a
great furnace; and the sun and the air
were darkened by reason of the smoke of
the pit.”
13. • In the 1st chapter of Revelation, you will
see there that Jesus had seven ‘stars’ in
His hand, these were messengers to the
churches. Here we see a fallen star, a
religious messenger, but a fallen or false
one.
• Star = Angel =Messenger
• Rev.1:20; Dan.8:10; Dan.12:4
14. • Here we see him open up a pit and smoke
comes out so thick that the sun and air is
made dark. Now remember these are all
symbols so what does it all mean?
• The Angel represented Mohamed.
• We will see that the 5th & 6th Trumpets
God used to punish apostate Christendom
& enabled the Reformation to go forward.
• The Bottomless Pit here can mean the
dark and evil side of the world or any
desolate area and Islam poured upon the
world from the desert lands of North Africa
15.
16. The Abyss
• The abyss, many scholars believe, is a term
describing the arsenal or stronghold of Satan.
Any power emerging from the abyss is inspired
by him. In the book of Revelation, powers
inspired of God are represented as "coming from
above", but powers inspired by Satan are
represented as "coming from beneath", from the
sea, from the earth, from the abyss.
• Rev.10:8;1 14:6,8,9; 13:1,11; 17:9; James 3:15-
17.
• Seven times "abyss!" is used: Rev.9:1,2,11;
11:7; 17:9; 20:1,3
17. • This leader in the fifth trumpet has the key to the
abyss - the arsenal of Satan. What does the key
represent? It represents power or authority - the
ability to unlock, to free, or release. What does
he release? He releases smoke that darkens the
sun and air. The sun of course represents Christ
the light of the world. It also represents truth.
Under this trumpet a leader is given the key to
release from the arsenal of Satan, falsehood
and error that would darken the light of the
gospel - that would obscure Jesus Christ the
Light of the world. These points give us a clue as
to where to search for the fulfillment of this
prediction.
18. • Just as the gospel of Jesus is well described as
light to the world, so this religion is well
described as darkness. Jesus taught us to seek
peace and love our enemies, this darkness
teaches men that war and killing their enemies is
the highest and best thing they can do for their
god.
• Christianity was never to be forced on people
but Mohamed taught that all should be forced
to obey his religion or they should be killed.
These people were taught that to die in battle
while forcing people to worship Mohamed or
‘Allah’ as they call their god, was the best
thing they could ever do.
19. • They were told that they then go straight to
a wonderful place where they would have
all kinds of beautiful women, wine to drink
and fancy food to eat forever. So they
were happy to make war and didn’t mind
getting killed, fighting for their ‘faith’. This
‘smoke’ made it almost impossible for
people taught like this to see the light of
Jesus’ gospel or breath the pure air of
Bible truth. Jesus longs to have these
people blinded by the ‘smoke’ to come to
Him and be saved.
20. • . A historian of the near East, without a thought
of this Bible prediction, when he described the
rise of Mohomet ,used language very similar to
that of the fifth trumpet. Writing of the inspirer of
the desert tribes of Arabia he declared,
• " ... at that juncture however, like a meteorite
from the blue came into the world a new
religion, a religion primarily of power and not
of love, a militant fanaticism appealing to the
evil which lies in men, and only partly to the
good"
William S. Davis. 'A Short History of the Near
East.' P100
21. • "The Arabs had languished in poverty
and contempt, till Mohomet breathed
into those savage hordes the soul of
enthusiasm."
Edward Gibbon. 'Decline & Fall.'
• 'There broke out among the nations of
Asia that mighty conflagration whose
flames were scattered over the terrified
globe by the sons of the desert, guided
by their new prophet of unbelief."
Schlegel. 'The Philosophy of History.
22. The Key
• Did Mohomet actually possess a key? It is significant to
notice that Peyron in his essay on this question says,
• "The Koran [ the Moslem Bible) continually speaks
of the key of God which opened to them the gates of
the world and of religion. So in the Koran, 'Did not
God give to his legate [Mohomet] the power of
heaven which is above and fire which is beneath?
With the key, did he not give him the title and power
of a porter, that he may open to those whom he shall
have chosen ?'" Peyronts Essais Sar I'Espagne. p
189
23.
24. Grasshoppers
• Revelation 9:3 “And there came out of the
smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto
them was given power, as the scorpions of
the earth have power."
25.
26. The Scorpion
• Here we see 2 more symbols that make us
think of the deserts; the locusts that would
come out of the deserts at certain times
and eat up all the crops; and the scorpion,
a nasty, poisonous creature like a long-tailed
spider with a sting, that would strike
with the sting in his tail and it would really
hurt!
27. • The Bible employs the locust as a symbol of the
Arab. Speaking of-the Midianite Arabs it says,
• They came as grasshoppers [or locusts] for
multitude." Judges 6:5
[The original word is "locusts!']
• Midianites and the Amalekites (Arab tribes] ...
lay along the valley like grasshoppers or
[locusts] for multitude." Judges 7:12
28. • Notice the statement by Forster, concerning the
Arabs.
• "In the Bedoween Romance of Antar the
locust is introduced as the national emblem
of the Ishmaelites." 'Mahommedanism
Unveiled.'- Vol. 1. 217.
• Edward Gibbon quoting Volney, "the most
judicious of our Syrian travelers" declared,
• "The inhabitants of Syria have remarked that
locusts come constantly from the desert of
Arabia.".
• C. Volney "Voyage en Egypte et en Syrie!'
Chap.XX Sect. 5.
29. • A famous traveler of last century named
Niebuhr in his journeys through Arabia
described the appearance of the swarms
of locusts that afflict that particular area of
the world.
• "The swarms of these insects darken
the air and appear at a distance like
clouds of smoke." NiebuhrTravels' Vol.
II. p 337.
30.
31.
32.
33.
34.
35. Sting like a Scorpion
• 'Mohomet was alike instructed to
preach and to fight, and the union of
these opposite qualities... contributed
to his success: his voice invited the
Arabs to freedom and victory, to arms
and rapine, to the indulgence of their
darling passions, in this world and the
next."
Gibbon Vol.V. p 466
36. • "...From all sides the roving Arabs were allured
to the standard of religion and plunder, the
apostle sanctified the license of embracing the
female captives as their wives or concubines...
'The sword [says Mohomet] is the key of
heaven and of hell. A drop of blood shed in the
cause of God, a night spent in arms is of more
avail than two months of fasting or prayer.
Whosoever falls in battle his sins are forgiven.
At the day of judgement his wounds shall be
resplendid as vermillion and odoriferous as
musk and the loss of his limbs shall be
supplied by angels and cherubim.' The intrepid
souls of the Arabs were fired with enthusiasm:
the picture of the invisible world was strongly
painted on their imagination; and the death
which they had always despised became an
object of hope and desire..
37. • The Koran inculcates in the most absolute
sense the tenets of fate and predestination..
The practical result was the inspiration of a
magnificent but terrible courage. Arab
warriors went into battle convinced that their
lifespan was so definitely determined that
whether they stayed at home or went to the
fight, their fate would surely overtake
them..."
• 'The warrior who dies in battle is sure of
paradise the first companions of Mohomet
advanced to battle with a fearless
confidence; there is no danger where there is
no chance: they were ordained to perish in
their beds; or they were safe and
invulnerable amidst the darts of the
enemy…“ E Gibbons Decline & Fall Vol
V:425-426”
38. Hurt not the Trees
• 9:4 And it was commanded them that they
should not hurt the grass of the earth,
neither any green thing, neither any tree;
but only those men which have not the
seal of God in their foreheads.
39. The Seal Of God
• Green things here means God’s true
people, who were not attacked by this
power but ‘those that had not God’s seal’
referred to apostate Christendom.
• Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the
trees till we have sealed the servants of
our God on their foreheads. Rev 7:3
40. Abu-Beker
• Abubeker was the successor of Mohamed and was now
in charge. Gibbon declares,
• "As soon as their numbers were complete, Abubeker
ascended the hill, reviewed the men, the horses, and
the arms, and poured forth a fervent prayer for the
success of their undertaking.. 'Remember', said the
successor of the prophet, 'that you are always in the
presence of God, on the verge of death, in the
assurance of judgement, and the hope of paradise.
Avoid injustice and oppression; consult with your
brethren, and study to preserve the love and
confidence of your troops. When you fight the
battles of the lord, acquit yourselves like men,
without turning your backs; but let not your victory
be stained with the blood of women or children.
41.
42. • Destroy no palm trees, nor burn any field of
corn. Cut down no fruit trees, nor do any
mischief to cattle, only such as you kill to
eat. When you make a covenant ... stand to it
and be as good as your word. As you go on,
you will find some religious persons, who
live retired in monasteries, and propose to
themselves to serve God that way: let them
alone and neither kill them nor destroy their
monasteries. And you will find another sort
of people that belong to the synagogue of
Satan, who have shaven crowns; be sure you
cleave their skulls, and give them no quarter,
till they either turn Mahometans or pay
tribute.
• Abubeker's command Edward Gibbon
'Decline & Fall'!, Vol.V:489-490.
43. Monks
• In the footnote Gibbon says,
• "Even in the 7th century the monks were
generally laymen; they wore their hair long
and dishevelled, and shaved their heads
when they were ordained priests. The
circular tonsure was sacred and mysterious;
it was the crown of thorns; but it was
likewise a royal diadem, and every priest was
a king."
49. Church of The East
• "In the early centuries of the christian era, the
church of the East [not the Western or Latin
church] sometimes called the Assyrian church,
sometimes the Nestorian church [who were
observers of the true Sabbath] very effectively
spread throughout Asia and the East, but
remained separate from the church in the West,
especially the apostasy.
• These true christians became the teachers of the
Saracens, and were responsible for establishing
an educational system in Syria, Mesopotamia,
Turkestan, Tibet, China, India, Ceylon, and other
areas." B G Wilkinson Truth Triumpant P268-291
50. Protected
• "When the Arabian empire was fully
established, it built up Bagdad, its
magnificent new capital. The Church of
the East removed its spiritual capital
from Seleucia to Bagdad, where it
remained for approximately the next
500 years." B.G. Wilkinson 'Truth
Triumphant.' p 268-291.
51. • "To his christian subjects [i.e. the true
christians, not the apostate ones whom
the Arabs tormented]; Mohomet readily
granted the security of their persons,
the freedom of their trade, the property
of their goods, and the toleration of
their worship." Gibbon 'Decline & Fall!'
Vol.V:439-W; 579-580; 390-391
52. Torment 5 Months
• 9:5, 6 “And to them it was given that they
should not kill them, but that they should
be tormented five months: and their
torment was as the torment of a scorpion,
when he striketh a man. And in those days
shall men seek death, and shall not find it;
and shall desire to die, and death shall flee
from them.”
53. Torment
• This power tormented the Eastern Roman
empire but did not manage to destroy it
completely, so the verse says ‘they should not
kill them’. Refers to Political kill.
• The tormenting power of these raiders made life
a burden for the eastern empire, who were
getting attacked by them, they would rather have
been conquered by them and thus stop the
torment.
• Whatever they tried the Arabs were unable to
conquer Eastern on Western Rome. They failed
twice to take Constantinople.
54. • Edward Gibbon says,
• "When the Arabs first issued from the desert, they
must have been surprised at the ease and rapidity of
their own success. But when they advanced in the
career of victory to the banks of the Indus and the
summit of the Pyrenees; ... they might be equally
astonished that any nation could resist their
invincible arms; that any boundary should confine
the dominion of the successor of the prophet...
• The calm historian of the present hour, who strives
to follow the rapid course of the Saracens, must
study to explain by what means the church and state
were saved from this impending, and, as it should
seem, from this inevitable, danger." Gibbon. Vol.VI:1-2
55. Decline & Fall of The Roman
Empire – Edward Gibbon 18th
Century Historian
56. • Henry Hallam describes the turning back of the
Arab hordes as one of the marvels of history.
• "These conquests, which astonish the
careless and superficial, are less perplexing
to a calm inquirer, than their cessation; the
loss of half the Roman Empire, than the
preservation of the rest." Henry Hallam
"History of the Middle Ages' Book 6. p 54.
57. 5 Months
• What is the 5 Months?
• We will be coming to that?
58.
59. Horses
• Revelation 9:7-9 “And the shapes of the locusts
were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and
on their heads were as it were crowns like gold,
and their faces were as the faces of men. And
they had hair as the hair of women, and their
teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had
breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and
the sound of their wings was as the sound of
chariots of many horses running to battle.”
60.
61. • Here we have a description of what these desert warriors
were like. It talks about their battle horses. The Arabian
Desert horses were amazing animals. They were raised
by their owners in the tents right along with the family
and were treated with gentleness so they were very
highly trained. At a word or touch from their master they
would run like the wind into battle, or flee away across
the sand.
• The ‘Crowns of Gold’ were the yellow turbans these men
wore.
• They had long hair either braided up or loose and the
‘teeth of lions’ meant their fierceness in battle.
• Again it talks about ‘many horses running to battle’; The
Arab warrior on their swift horses did not march in rows
or ranks like Greek or Roman soldiers, they swarmed
down onto their enemies on their swift horses almost as
quickly as if they were flying.

70. Like Horses
• When one examines the locust of Arabia he will
soon see that they literally look like little horses.
In fact the Bedouins describe them as "soldiers'
horses". The old Italians called them Cavaletta,
which means "little horses".
• The locust is used in scripture to denote
swarming numbers, and this was a neat symbol
of the amazing numbers of the Arabs as they
swarmed out of the desert in conquest. The
prophet said,
• "Make thyself many as the locusts." Nah.3:5
71. • "They came as the grasshoppers [or locusts] for
multitude."
Judges 6:5.
• The Arab tribes issuing from Arabia with their great
speed, far ranging and irresistible progress, were fittingly
symbolized by the swarms of locusts.
• The Arab warriors are likened to "horses prepared for
battle". This also is a true picture of the type of military
force that was used by the Arabs in their method of
attack. Edward Gibbon says,
• "I shall here observe what I must often repeat, that
the charge of the Arabs was not like that of the
Greeks and Romans, the effort of a firm and compact
infantry: their military force was chiefly formed of
cavalry and archers." Decline and Fall Vol V:478-479
73. Swarm
• "THE SOUND OF THEIR WINGS WAS AS THE
SOUND OF CHARIOTS OF MANY HORSES
RUSHING TO BATTLE." V 9.
• This correctly describes a locust invasion. When
locusts swarm out into the countryside their
sound is similar to that of chariots charging to
battle. This aptly describes an Arab army of
cavalry rushing into battle for which they were so
famous and by which such great terror was
brought to the world of the day.
74. Crowns
• "ON THEIR HEADS WERE AS IT WERE
CROWNS LIKE GOLD." V 7
• This may refer to their colour. It is
interesting to notice that the prophet
Ezekiel in speaking of the Sabean Arabs
says,
• "The Sabeans from the wilderness
which put beautiful crowns upon their
heads." Ezek.23:42.
78. Turbans
• Mahommed says,
• "Make a point of wearing turbans,
because it is the way of angels “
• Forster "Mohammedanism Unveiled"
Vol.I:217
79. Beards
• "THEIR FACES WERE AS THE FACES OF
MEN." V 7
• Edward Gibbon in describing the Arab of that day,
says,
• "His breast is fortified with the austere virtues
of courage, patience and sobriety. The gravity
and firmness of the mind is conspicuous in
his outward demeanour, his speech is slow,
weighty and concise. He is seldom provoked
to laughter, his only gesture is that of stroking
his beard the venerable symbol of manhood."
Vol V:377/8
80. Hair
• "...THEY HAD HAIR AS THE HAIR OF
WOMEN." (V8)
• Authorities record the fact that the Arabs of
Mahomet's day literally wore long hair. In the
famous "Antar" poem, written at the time of the
Arab invasions it says,
• "He adjusted himself properly, twirling his
whiskers, folded up his hair under his turban
drawing it from off his shoulders.
• "His hair flowed down his shoulders.".
• "We will hang him up by his hair."
81. Lions Teeth
• Naturalists inform us that the home of the lion is
Arabia
• . In Arabic literature the lion is the constant
emblem of the valiant warriors. Gibbon says,
• "Eutychius the patriarch observes that the
Saracens fought with the courage of lions."
Vol V:531
• They also were very destructive, which is typical
of the lion.
82. The King
• 8:11 “And they had a king over them,
which is the angel of the bottomless pit,
whose name in the Hebrew tongue is
Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his
name Apollyon.”
83. The King
• The rise of Mohamed was in 612 AD and
for a long time after his death, there was
no central king over them.
• Each tribe had it’s own ruler; but in 1299,
Othman became king and what we call the
‘Ottoman Empire’ was set up. We know
that the five months begins at this time
because the prophecy says ‘they have a
king’
84. 5 Months
• Vs 10: And they had tails like unto
scorpions and there were stings in their
tails: and their power was to hurt men
five months.
85. Dr Josiah Litch
In 1843 Dr Litch interpreted
this prophecy to the Islamic
religion and that the time
prophecy related to the rise
of the Ottoman Empire.
86. DAY FOR A YEAR
• Dr Litch believed that the Bible taught that 1
prophetic day = 1 Year.
• Numbers 14:34 “After the number of the days in
which ye searched the land, [even] forty days,
each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities,
[even] forty years, and ye shall know my breach
of promise.”
• Ezekiel 4:6 “And when thou hast accomplished
them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt
bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days:
I have appointed thee each day for a year.”
87. DAY FOR A YEAR
• 1 Biblical year consisted of 360 days (from
Genesis). 1 Biblical month = 30 days
• Therefore 1 prophetic year = 360 years.
• 5 month prophecy = 5 x 30 days = 150
days.
• Therefore time is 150 years.
88. Start date of Prophecy
• When did the 150 years start?
• According to Edward Gibbon –
• “Othman first entered the territory of
Nicomedia on the 27th July 1299.”
• Started to attack Eastern Rome.
• Finished in 1449. (1299+150 = 1449)
89. What happened in 1449?
• During the whole period the Othman Turks
were engaged in perpetual war with the
Greek Empire, but yet without conquering
it.
• But in 1449 a change came.
90. In the year 1448 –
John Paleologus,
the Greek emperor,
died, but left no
children to inherit
his throne, and in
1449 Constatine
Deacozes
succeeded to it.
91. He however would
not venture to
ascend the throne
without the
consent of
Amurath The
Turkish Sultan.
This was a
voluntary
surrender of the
sovereignty.
This ‘woe’ ends in 1449 and the second ‘woe’ starts
92. The story continues
• Vs 12-15 "One woe is past; and behold there
come two woes more hereafter. And the sixth
angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the
four horns of the golden altar which is before
God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the
trumpet, Loose the four angels which are
bound in the great river Euphrates. And the
four angels were loosed which were
prepared for an hour, and a day, and a
month, and a year, for to slay the third part of
man.
93. Four Angels
• Now we see this same dark religious
power but this time coming from the ‘river
Euphrates’, which referred to area of the
country of Turkey.
• The ‘four angels’ refer to the four great
sultanies -- Bagdad, Damascus, Iconium,
and Aleppo -- of which at that time the
Turkish power was composed.
94. 1/3 Part
• The Roman Empire was divided into 3
parts – this 3rd part related to the Greek –
Eastern Roman empire. The capital was
Constantinople.
95. Second Time Prophecy
• Notice this time period — an hour, a day, a
month, and a year.
• One Hour = 1/24 of a day = 1/24 of a year
Or 1/24 of 360 days = 15 solar days
• One Day = 1 Bible day = 1 Solar Year
• One Month = 30 Bible days = 30 solar Years
• One Year = 360 Bible days = 360 solar Years
TOTAL = 391 Years, 15 days
96. Time Prophecy
• When did the time prophecy start
• At the end of the 5th Trumpet
• 27th July 1449
• Josiah Litch predicted that the fall of the
Ottoman Empire would happen sometime
in August 1840.
• Weeks before the date he then narrowed it
to 11th August 1840
98. What happened in 1840?
• On the 11th of August 1840, on board a ship, the Turkish
leader signed a paper that took away the independence
and power of the Turkish Sultan forever. Where, then,
was Turkish supremacy Aug. 11, 1840? -- It was gone.
Who now held the power? -- The four great Powers of
Europe.
• Up until that time, they had continued to attack that
eastern part of the Roman Empire until the last remains
of it were gone and the modern nations ruled.
• This amazing prophecy was pointed out and written up in
the newspapers before August 11,1840 and when it
really happened on time, many people believed that
God’s Word was true.
99. War with Egypt
For several years the Sultan has been embroiled
in war with Mehemet Ali, Pacha of Egypt. In 1838
there was a threatening of war between the
Sultan and his Egyptian vassal. Mehemet Ali
Pacha, in a note addressed to the foreign
consuls, declared that in future he would pay no
tribute to the Porte, and that he considered
himself independent sovereign of Egypt, Arabia
and Syria. The Sultan, naturally incensed at this
declaration, would have immediately
commenced hostilities, had he not been
restrained by the influence of the foreign
ambassadors, and persuaded to delay. This war
however, was finally averted by the
announcement of Mehemet, that he was ready to
pay one million dollars.
100. In 1839 hostilities again commenced, and were
prosecuted, until, in a general battle between the
armies of the Sultan and Mehemet, the Sultan's
army was entirely cut up and destroyed, and his
fleet taken by Mehemet and carried into Egypt.
So completely had the Sultan's fleet been reduced,
that, when hostilities commenced in August, he
had only two first-rates and three frigates, as the
sad remains of the once powerful Turkish fleet.
This fleet Mehemet positively refused to give up
and return to the Sultan, and declared, if the
powers attempted to take it from him he would
burn it. In this posture affairs stood, when, in 1840,
England, Russia, Austria and Prussia interposed,
and determined on a settlement of the difficulty,
for it was evident, if let alone, Mehemet would
soon become master of the Sultan's throne.
101. Prophecy Fulfilled
• The letter of Ultimatum was handed to the
Pasha on the exact date 11th August 1840
– which signified the voluntary end of the
Ottoman Empire into the hands and
control of the 4 nations. The sultan
became like a puppet just in the same way
as the Greek Empire in 1449.
102. Number of the Army
• Vs 16: And the number of the army of
horsemen were two hundred thousand
thousand: And I heard the number of
them.
• The Greek & Hebrew is translated
actually “Myriads”
103. Myriads
• "Be thou the mother of thousands of millions."
Gen.24:60.
• The original is "thousands of myriads".
• "Return now to the many thousands of Israel."
Num.10:36.
(margin-. "ten thousand thousands")
The Hebrew reads, "myriads of thousands".
• "Thousand thousands ministered to him and ten
thousand times ten thousands stood before him."
Dan.7:10.
• The Hebrew reads "myriads of myriads stood before
him".
104. Myriads
• It was the Turkish method of numbering! They numbered
by to tomens". A tomen is ten thousand people or the
number ten thousand, or myriad. Gibbon himself uses
this very term when he describes the Turks. Alluding to
Timur the Lame - the leader of the Tartars or Eastern
Turks from Mongolia, he says,
• The sea [the Bosporus] rolled between the two
continents of Europe and Asia and the lord of so
many tomens or myriads of horse was not master of
a single galley. Vol VII p72
• Of the Turkish invasion of Asia Minor he says,
The myriads of Turkish horse overspread a frontier
of 600 miles from Taurus to Azeroum. Vol VI P252
105. FIRE
• Vs 17-18: And thus I saw the horses in the
vision, and them that sat on them, having
breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and
brimstone: and the heads of the horses were
as the heads of lions; and out of their
mouths issued fire and smoke and
brimstone. By these three was the third part
of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke,
and by the brimstone, which issued out of
their mouths.
106.
107. • The word "Jacinth" is "Jacinthine" in the Greek,
and denotes the colour blue. Thus when it
speaks of "fire and jacinth and brimstone" it
means red, blue and yellow. Fire is red,
jacinthine is blue and brimstone or sulphur is
yellow. Red, blue and yellow! These were the
colours of the uniforms of the Turkish army.
Daubuz, an English scholar writing of the time,
says,
• From their first appearance the Ottomans
have affected to wear warlike apparel of
scarlet, blue and yellow: a descriptive trait
the more marked from its contrast to the
military appearance of Greeks, Franks or
Saracens [Arabs] who were contemporary.
Daubuz Quoted By Elliott "Horae Apocalyptica'
ch VII p.508
108. GUNPOWDER
• At this time gunpowder and guns were
used for the first time against the people in
Eastern Europe. When the pistols were
held close to the horses as the rode to the
attack, it looked like fire and brimstone
came from the mouths of the horses. This
is also the time that knights in armour
weren’t much use any more as the armour
would not stop the bullets.
109. Tails
• Vs 19: “For their power is in their
mouth, and in their tails: for their tails
were like unto serpents, and had heads
and with them they do hurt."
110. • The Turks' peculiar ensign - the standard
that they used to represent authority was a
horse's tail! From prime visior to the
governors of provinces, the horse's tail
was the badge of authority. As Elliott says,
• The ensign of one, two, or three horse
tails that marks distinctively the dignity
and power of the Turkish Pasha. Elliott ch
VII p.514
113. PROTESTANTISM
• It is fascinating to learn that the Ottoman Turks in
particular, were a great aid to the Protestant
Reformation. When Turks were invading Europe, King
Charles V of Spain was Emperor of the Holy Roman
Empire. This was the Roman Catholic political empire of
the Middle Ages. Protestantism had risen in 1517 and
thousands of people had left Mother Church to become
Protestants. Charles V, being a devout Roman Catholic
was fervently pursuaded by his church, not only to
oppose the Protestant faith, but to destroy it. But
whenever he advanced to attack the Protestants, so
often tidings would come that the Turks were on the
attack and Charles would be forced to turn away from
the Protestants and march against the Turks. History, is
very clear that had it not been for the Turks,
Protestantism would never have survived.
114. PROTESTANTISM
• "In the 16th and 17th centuries support and
encouragement for Protestants and
Calvinists ... were one of the fundamental
principles of Ottoman policy."(Halil Inalcik "The
Heyday & Decline of the Ottoman Empire!" in "History of Islam"
pp.325-329.
• "There would have been no Protestantism
had there been no Turk."Kenneth Oster "Islam
Reconsidered" p.72. Quoted by M.Maxwell "God Cares II"
pp.255-256.
115.
116. CONSTANTINOPLE
• On April 6, 1453 Mahomet II assembled
258,000 men to commence the attack.
• Using canons the city was taken 29 of
May, 1453 .

121. LESSONS LEARNED
• “And the rest of the men which were not
killed by these plagues yet repented not of
the works of their hands, that they should
not worship devils and idols of silver and
gold and brass and stone and wood, which
neither can see nor hear nor walk Neither
repented they of their murders nor of their
sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their
thefts." Rev.9:20-21.
122. LESSONS
• Here we see lessons that God wanted people to learn.
The Roman Church was worshiping images, and they
worshipped dead people as ‘saints’- when you worship
the dead, you really worship devils. People also make
idols of gold and silver money- always trying to get as
much as they can away from other people.
• The murders, thefts and sorcery are all part of the false
system of worship and the persecution of all who differed
with them. The ‘fornication’ is when the church uses the
government power to force her religion on others.
• Sadly, the Roman church did not learn its lesson from
these woes. If we have hard times or trouble come into
our lives, it is good to see if there are some lessons that
we need to learn!
123. 3rd Woe
• Could the 3rd Woe be Radical Islam?
124. SUMMARY
• God is in control
• 1 prophetic day = 1 literal year
• 5th & 6th Trumpet related to Islamic Movement.
• God used Islam to preserve the Protestant
Reformation.
• We are now in the 7th Trumpet. What does that
mean?
125. RADICAL ISLAM
• It has been predicted that there will be a
WW3 involving Islam!!
• Islam’s involvement in the Third Woe will
be a force that will unite the World powers
together.
127. 3 WORLD WARS
• In a letter to Giusseppe Mazzini dated 15
August 1871:
• Stated that the first world war was to be
fomented in order to destroy Czarist
Russia and to place that vast land under
the direct control of Illuminati agents.
Russia was then to be used as a bogey
man to further the aims of the Illuminati
worldwide.
128. WW2
• World War II was to be fomented through
manipulation of the differences that existed
between German Nationalists and the Political
Zionists.
• This was to result in an expansion of Russian
influence and the establishment of a State of
Israel in Palestine.
• [In both instances, Pikes plan for World wars has
been precisely carried out. These plans existed
40-60 years before the wars took place]
129. WW3
• The third world war was planned to result
from the differences stirred up by the
illuminati agents between the Zionists and
the Arabs. The conflict was planned to
spread worldwide.
• Des Griffin – Descent into Slavery P38-39.
130. THE WORLD WILL BE UNITED
• Through Radical Islam the world will unite
and National Apostacy and Sunday laws
will be the result.
• A New World Order is about to arrive.
