Childhood obesity is a serious problem in the United States due to fast food and unhealthy diets. Being obese can lead to health issues like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. The government should pass laws to limit candy and unhealthy foods for kids and require daily exercise in schools to help decrease childhood obesity rates and encourage healthier lifestyles.

establishments and unhealthy dieting.

• Heart Disease
• Several types of
cancer
• Psychological and
self-esteem issues

9. There is no good that comes
out of being overweight.
People might think
there is nothing wrong
with it, but this habit
needs to be broken.

10. There is no legislative laws that makes
parents responsible for this outbreak of
unhealthiness.
The government should
make laws and regulations to
prevent this from happening.
There should be charges of
child endangerment given
out to those guilty.

11. Candy might be sweet, at the same time too much can cause
life threatening conditions such as diabetes.
There should be a limit to what kids eat and put into their bodies.
Kids shouldn’t have to suffer because of poor diets

12. Kids should at least exercise
once a day on a regular basis.
Daily servings of fruits and
vegetables with less fried
foods is necessary

13. Let’s provide more healthy meals for children and
raise awareness amongst parents at the same
time.
