This document describes a proposed automatic self-parking chair system. The system uses sensors and a microcontroller to allow a chair to automatically detect an empty parking spot and maneuver itself into the spot. It would use ultrasonic sensors to measure parking space dimensions, an IR sensor for collision detection, and a motor driver and servo motor controlled by an 89c51 microcontroller to move the chair. The system is intended to reduce human effort by allowing chairs to automatically arrange themselves after meetings or other events.
