experience lead her to pursue a
career in Fashion.
Nature, Art and Science are her
biggest inspirations.
She collaborates with Scientist,
Engineers, and Architects.
Merges traditional craftsmanship
using technology to create
challenging pieces.

 Incorporates 3D printing into her designs.
 Technology and Couture, has printed pieces
that look handmade and has created handmade
garments that look printed.
 Seeks to create materials from non controlled
substances like water or smoke.
 Incorporates Avant-garde elements into each
show.
 As part of her desire to capture materials that
cannot be controlled, in her own words she
states – “ I often wonder if we will keep on
wearing fabrics in the future, or if dressing will
become something non-material, something
that is visible, but not tangible or touchable” –

photographer who created the liquid cloud images
Herpen uses in her collection.
 18 pieces made up of died silks, gradient-died silks
heated onto frames of laser cut mylar.
 Used 3D printed face jewelry made from a high
resolution multi-material printer.

to Red Carpet
Premium service:
Clients are able wear modified versions of the
couture gowns they see from the runway's.
A different color was chosen for Cate Blanchett’s
dress with the skirt lengthened. Also, the sleeves
were shortened, the lining extends to the knee
and the ornamentation covers more of the bust
and wraps around the neck.
This is a good example what it means to create a
custom handmade piece. Anything can be
adjusted and remade to suit their style and
comfort needs.
