4. Definition
The Internet of Things ( IoT ) is a computing concept that
describes a future where everyday physical objects will be
connected to the Internet and be able to identify themselves to
other devices . Including other sensor technologies , wireless
technologies or QR codes .
The IoT is significant because an object that can represent itself
digitally becomes something greater than the object by itself .
6. About the IoT
Data Processing
• Once the data gets to the cloud then software
performs data processing on it . At this point
software is programmed in that device that it can do
something based on the data it has received such as
text alert to the user
Act on that Data
• The final information is made available to the end
user in different ways like message , email and
notification . It will provide solution to the problem
7. About the IoT (cont)
Capture The Data
• First sensors collects the data from the area . Here
sensors in the device plays very important role .
Capturing the data like temperature reading in that
area .
Share The Data
• The data that has been collected is sent to the
cloud , that can be done via cellular network and
Wi - Fi . The data is saved on the cloud .
