III – JOB PURPOSE
The position is primarily responsible for guaranteeing the correct and accurate accountability of all stock items to include finished
goods and raw and packaging materials as good/commercial stocks, damaged/reject stocks, and on hold/quarantine,
whether owned or on consignment, physically in all stock points and on record in the ERP system. Stock points include
but not limited to the main warehouse, regional distribution centers, overflow warehouse (if any), and all other
locations with consignment stocks (e.g. hospitals, toll manufacturing).
IV – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MASTER DATA ALIGNMENT
1. Acts as the Supply Chain subject matter expert and point person on all matters related to the master data file.
2. Maintains a complete and orderly listing of all item codes. Assigns the company item code to a stock keeping unit
(SKU) and updates the Item Master Maintenance File in the ERP system.
3. Cascades to the Supply Chain team and other relevant stakeholders on any modification to the Inventory Master File.
Triggers action requiring an update to existing standard operating procedures and business processes to align with the
change.
INVENTORY COUNT
4. Plans and prepares the Full Year Inventory Count Calendar. Prepares the activity plan for the seamless execution of the
cycle count schedule. Directly supervises the conduct of the inventory count activities.
5. Plans the manpower and other resources for the inventory count activity. Coordinates with the Warehouse Supervisor
(and Finance, as needed) to execute the plan.
6. Handles the swift and accurate reconciliation and resolution of the inventory variances. Identifies the causal drivers
and recommends the appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
INVENTORY CONTROL
7. Guides warehouse operations on the physical segregation and proper labeling of commercial and non-commercial
stocks to avoid contamination and mix-up.
8. Puts in place adequate controls and measures to ensure compliance to the FEFO (first-expiration-first-out) and product
expiration/quality policies.
9. Reviews the status of inventory shelf life. Prepares the inventory ageing report to flag the company on risks of product
expiration and works with Quality Assurance and Marketing teams for the timely disposition of near expiry and expired
inventory.
10. Reviews the inventory on quarantine and on hold status. Ensures proper tagging and segregation of stocks. Works with
the Quality Assurance group for the immediate disposition.

11. Prepares the Request for Inventory Adjustment for approval by the Warehouse and Distribution Manager and Supply
Chain Director. Posts the approved adjustment in the system.
ADMINISTRATIVE
12. Handles special projects and initiatives related to master data alignment.
13. Provides over-all supervision for the effective execution of the duties and responsibilities attached to the Inventory
Control team to include but not limited to System Picking, Credit Memo Processing.
14. Conducts random system and document audit of Supply Chain transactions that impact on inventory for accuracy,
timelines, and correctness.
15. Reviews, designs, and puts in place adequate inventory control function-related business processes. Ensures the timely
update of SOPs.
16. Designs and implements the appropriate standard operating procedure of activities and process improvement related
to inventory control. Recommends to management the necessary interventions, policies, and procedures that will
make the delivery of the function’s objectives effective and efficient.
17. Prepares the function’s annual operating budget.
18. Provides over-all supervision for the effective execution of the duties and responsibilities attached to the Inventory
Control team.
19. Performs other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
V – WORKING CONDITIONS
The position is required to work on a warehouse set up with occasional travel to RDCs to conduct audit.

IX - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / JOB SPECIFICATION
Education: Graduate of a four (4) year Business-related course
Experience(s): Minimum of three (3) years combined working experience in inventory control and warehousing in
FMCG/Distribution set-up preferably in a supervisory role.
Specific Knowledge: Inventory Management, Knowledgeable with Any ERP System, Warehousing Practices
Business Understanding: Good Warehousing Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001, Trends in Inventory Management,
Environment Health and Safety
