The National Farmers Bank of Owatonna in Minnesota was designed by Louis Sullivan with decorative elements by George Elmslie. Built in 1908, it was Sullivan's first "jewel box" bank building and is considered one of his masterpieces. The building features red brick cladding with green terra cotta bands and large arched windows, and housed bank offices in single-story wings on each side.
