Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.
NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
1. Introduction on Helamin
(Revolution on the world of Chemicals)
Hope you are doing well.
Why you are working in local very low efficient traditional salts (Chemicals)
and you have the most efficient one, 100% non-traditional fully organic
Made in France (Water Treatment Chemicals).
So please take few minutes to know the solution and to save much.
The solution called Helamin produced by the most famous Swiss company
Helamin company which produce 100% non-traditional fully organic (all in one
products) which treats boilers (low-mild-and high pressure steam boilers) for:
1. Increase PH of feed water up to or more than 9.
2. Stop formation of scales on Soft water feed boilers
3. Prevents carry-over in boilers
4. Reduce multiple blow down as its fully organic
5. Prevent corrosion through producing of filming layer without any alteration
of heat transfer; corrosion protection exceeds 99%
6. Slowly removes existing scales
7. Full treatment of steam and condensate
2. Introduction on Helamin
Helamin® products are proprietary formulations of a perfect
blend of components that include protective (filming)
polyamines, polycarboxylates (dispersants), and volatile (alkalinizing) amines,
working in a synergistic way to provide an optimum protection and passivation of
all ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces in the entire water & steam circuit
(Turbines included).
Helamin® is forming a monomolecular, continuous, and hydrophobic protective
film on metal surfaces, acting as a barrier between water and metal to prevent
corrosion.
The use of Helamin® "All-in-one" product to treat water and steam carrying
systems, such as water/steam and heating circuits, has many advantages over
conventional conditioning which often requires several substances to be added at
various locations and needs regular monitoring.
In the boiler water of steam generators the polyelectrolytes have a synergetic
effect. The polycarboxylates (as sodium salt) cause at every temperature an
alkalization because of hydrolysis. As a polyelectrolyte it has greater affinity to
bivalent cations (e.g. Fe2+ or Ca2+), like a weak acidic ion exchanger. Hence,
quite stable calcium or iron salts are formed which can be removed by blow down.
At the stoechiometric limits any residual hardness is kept in solution. Any
additional quantities are sequestered, suspended and dispersed (i.e. prevented from
crystallising and forming scale or any other deposits). The polyamines have a
greater propensity to be adsorbed at the interfaces.
In addition to the corrosion-protecting effect of the membrane, they also prevent
calcium carbonate crystals from growing on the material surface, especially in the
area of the heat transfer. Corrosion products which are transported into the boiler
are also prevented from accumulating and any existing deposits can be gently
removed. If used in steam generators, warm and hot water networks, superheaters,
turbines and cooling systems, Helamin® is an efficient, economical and ecological
solution to the difficult problem of corrosion and scaling.
3. The Helamin® range of conditioners provides additional safety thanks to
preventive surface protection, the key to successful and economic operation of
your systems.
The commercial operation of Helamin® started in 1986. The applications for
Helamin® have expanded to many plants in many countries around the world.
ORIGINS OF THE PRODUCT
Based on long term R&D, Helamin® has been developed and produced to
withstand high temperature and pressure applications. Today Helamin® is used for
steam boilers with operating pressure of 220 bar and steam temperature up to 600
°C.
Helamin® is a composition of ingredients to provide protection and passivation of
all ferrous and non ferrous metal surfaces by least degradation through the various
phases: feed water, steam & condensate. Helamin® is forming a mono-molecular,
continuous and hydrophobic protective film on all exposed metal surfaces.
The main advantages of Helamin® are:
Single pack, multi component mixture of surface active alkyl amines and if
requested dispersant.
Environment compatible water treatment technology (Helamin® contains no
Hydrazine and Phosphates).
Economical, only a very small excess is sufficient to protect the whole plant.
Ease of application, in most of the cases only one dosing point is necessary.
Stability, Helamin® is thermally stable up to 600 °C and 220 bar.
4. Applications
Helamin® is used and approved as a corrosion inhibitor in water-steam circuits as
well as cooling systems.
1. High and low pressure steam boilers
2. Water tube boiler with turbine
3. Steam systems in food industry
4. Hot water systems
5. District heating systems
