UP Power Transmission Corporation Limited was incorporated in 2006 with the main objective of acquiring, establishing, constructing, operating, and maintaining electrical transmission lines, networks, substations, and related equipment in Uttar Pradesh, India. The 400 KV Sub-station Kasara located in Mau district has three sections for 400 KV, 132 KV and 33 KV transmission with a common control room and capacity of 200 MVA.

UP Power Transmission Corporation Limited, incorporated
under the Companies Act 1956, was incorporated in 2006 with
the main objective to acquire, establish, construct, take over,
erect, lay, operate, run, manage, hire, lease buy, sell,
maintain, enlarge alter, renovate, modernize, work and use
electrical transmission lines and/or network through extra high
voltage, high voltage and associated sub-stations, cables,
wires, connected with transmission ancillary services,
telecommunication and telemetering equipment in the State of
U.P. and elsewhere.
400 KV Sub-station Kasara is located at Mau district .The
whole sub-station is divided into three parts 400 KV,132 KV
and 33 KV and a common control room is used. Capacity is
200 MVA.
