Miss Cara is a first year second grade teacher who grew up in North Carolina. She wants to help her students achieve academically and socially this year, while also providing a supportive classroom environment. Her goals are to teach necessary skills, foster new friendships, and discover interests. She expects students to follow class rules of respect, responsibility, organization, and preparation to build a cooperative classroom community. Homework will only be assigned when necessary, and communication with parents will occur through weekly parent packs.
