Trees provide important benefits to the earth and its population. Planting 20 million trees will provide 260 million more tons of oxygen while removing 10 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The structure of a tree's limbs is adapted to support its own weight as well as leaves, nuts, and fruits through having a compression side on top and tension side on the bottom.
