In 2012, some significant developments occurred including a Harvard MOOC with over 370,000 registered students and the launch of Coursera offering xMOOCs. By 2013, there were too many cMOOCs and xMOOCs to accurately count as the concept continued rapidly expanding.

The full collection and results of testing will be delivered by the end of the 36 month project.
