Tanjung Balai (Lorong Haji Yusof), 30/236, bersama satu unit pencawang elektrik padat
di atas Lot 3607 (GM2726), Seksyen 30, 40460 Shah Alam, Selangor.

Learning Outcomes
• Understand the basics of the construction process and witness the usage of
construction equipment’s on site including mechanical plants.
• Explore and identify various types of building materials and technology on site.
• Awareness of the importance of safety on site and understanding of safety
problems and site conditions.
• Exposure to actual working environment on site including uncertainty
circumstances e.g. weather

Assignment Brief
The site visit will expose the students to site conditions where they will be able to
describe, explain and understand the method and process of construction in
accordance to the sequence of work on site.
This is a report on a site visit to a construction site incorporating all the learning
outcomes of the site visit, the introduction of the site and technical observations made
on site.
For this report, students are required to study on a CONCRETE FRAMED BUILDING.
Items to be considered are:
a) What are the items in the site that are considered as a concrete frame? Describe the
items.
b) What are the materials involved in constructing a concrete framed structure that have
been identified above?
Assessment Criteria (10 marks for each module)
Breakdown of marks are:
Introduction of the site visit : 1
Content/ Technical observations : 6
Photos and descriptions : 2
Learning outcomes/ Conclusion : 1

Marks: 10 marks for each module Assignment Date: 23/11/2016 Submission Date: 29/11/2016, 12pm @ Block C, Level 5 Learning Outcomes • Understand the basics of the construction process and witness the usage of construction equipment’s on site including mechanical plants. • Explore and identify various types of building materials and technology on site. • Awareness of the importance of safety on site and understanding of safety problems and site conditions. • Exposure to actual working environment on site including uncertainty circumstances e.g. weather
  • 2.   2     Assignment Brief The site visit will expose the students to site conditions where they will be able to describe, explain and understand the method and process of construction in accordance to the sequence of work on site. This is a report on a site visit to a construction site incorporating all the learning outcomes of the site visit, the introduction of the site and technical observations made on site. For this report, students are required to study on a CONCRETE FRAMED BUILDING. Items to be considered are: a) What are the items in the site that are considered as a concrete frame? Describe the items. b) What are the materials involved in constructing a concrete framed structure that have been identified above?
