- The existing Cultural Heritage Law in the Republic of
Albania provides the obligation of all public
institutions of drawing inventories for cultural
heritage.
- In 2010 the National Committee of ICH proclaimed for
the first 7 elements of the National List of
Masterpieces
- The Institute of Ethnology has so far digitalized the “
popular songs” archives.

5.  MoTCYS has included a specific chapter on intangible
heritage in the Strategy of Culture and a specific action
plan was drawn on measures of safeguarding different
domains.
 From the institutional point in 2008 a specific unit on
ICH was created within the Cultural Heritage
Department, named “ Unit of Intangible Heritage and
Cultural Diversity” and after that the National
Committee of ICH was created

 The National Center for Folkloric Activities pays
special attention to the involvement of young
generation

8.  The Republic of Albania has fruitful collaboration with
all other states , especially with those of the SEE
Region.
