This document provides a step-by-step guide for setting up a local host server using XAMPP. 1. Setting Up
Local Host Server
(WAMP, LAMP, MAMP, or XAMPP)

2. Download XAMPP
- https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html

3. Before you proceed:
- Disable any Antivirus temporarily

4. Run as Administrator:
- click “YES” and “OK” if prompted

5. Setup Window
- click NEXT

6. Select Components
- check ALL
- click NEXT

7. Installation Folder
- C:xampp
- click NEXT

8. Language
- English
- click NEXT

9. Bitnami for XAMPP
- click NEXT

10. Ready to Install
- click NEXT

11. Ready to Install
- just WAIT…

12. Windows Defender
- if prompted, Allow Private Networks

13. Completing the Setup
- click FINISH
- start Control Panel

14. XAMPP Control Panel v3.3.0
- Run Modules (Apache, MySQL)

15. Test XAMPP
- browse to http://localhost
- or http://127.0.0.1

16. Debugging if with Errors:
- Check if Antivirus is deactivated;
- Change User Account Control setting
- run msconfig.exe
- GoTo Tools > Change UAC Settings > Launch
