The film industry needs to target specific audiences with their marketing strategies in order to be successful and make money. Two case studies are examined: Working Title Films' The Boat That Rocked, which was not as successful as their previous films, and See Saw Films' The King's Speech, which was successful. To ensure the success of their films, companies must spread their direction and marketing efforts to appeal to multiple niche audiences through different forms of exposure and availability for audience consumption.
