talking about fan theories about Game of Thrones, Dune, and The Expanse
as well as making critiques on the aforementioned franchises he makes
other off-shoot videos based on other book series, games, or Television
series. His unique style of editing is most notable as it is simplistic yet
aesthetically pleasing with Alt Shift X’s research and ideas being the main
focal point. Alt Shift X’s overall knowledge of his chosen subject per video is
most impressive and I believe that the fact that he is anonymous is to let his
work speak for itself. The internet allows Alt Shift X to give reviews of
different pieces of media in a way that fits in with modern audiences and
the way that they consume media. Being on YouTube and for the most part
working for himself allows him the freedom to make content on whatever
he wants while also having a format that is appealing to his audience. This
level of freedom is inspiring to me as it can be flexible in terms of subjects
and deadlines. Alt Shift X also shows that just talking about your interests
can be profitable aswell.
