This document provides an overview of inner ear anatomy presented in a seminar by Dr. Ayushree. It describes the key structures and development of the inner ear, including the organs of hearing (cochlea) and balance (utricle, saccule and semicircular canals). It discusses the embryology of the inner ear, formation of the membranous and bony labyrinths, and specialized sensory cells. The functional anatomy of the cochlea for sound transduction is also summarized.
