Someone is trying to deal with everyday life whilst having an illness. It
is effecting them. Something happens and she has to confess.

3. INITIAL IDEA 2
Child looking after somebody with an illness –
Mum/sister gets diagnosed with Cancer but it turns out that the son is
the only available person to look after her. However, as time goes on
she is making him extremely depressed and the day she dies he is so
upset because she is his life he goes and commits suicide.

4. INITIAL IDEA 3
Car crash-
A teenager is driving drunk down a country lane and a kid steps out into
the road and she hits him. She wakes up (so it looks like it was all a
dream) and goes to visit the grave of the little boy.

5. INITIAL IDEA 4
Boy deals with his father’s death-
Little boy dealing with grief after his father has just died. He messes
about at school and home. He just wants to go back to when his life was
happy.

6. DEVELOPED IDEA (INITIAL IDEA 4)
Little boy dealing with grief after his father has just died-
*Depression, mental illness.
*Make it look like the little boy is just acting up at home and in class,
with his friends etc. Make him look like a lad but at the end catch him
writing a letter which he puts on his father’s grave
‘Dad I just want to be with you’
*Starts off with the alarm beeping in the background and the boy
turning over – just a regular morning
Eating breakfast, cycling to school, meeting friends etc.
*Could have back-flash to old memories of him as a young boy – make
it look like home movies – child on the slide etc?
*Whilst writing the letter could have the boy crying or cutting his
wrists?
