3. Let us ignore C3 on this course and focus on
information warfare as cyber war,also called
hacker warfare .
Today war has became cyber warfare so it
become easy to fight with minds.
4. Information warfare is actions taken to
achieve information superiority in support of
national military strategy by affecting
adversary information and information
systems while leveraging and protecting our
information and information systems.
5. Command and Control Warfare – targeting
the command systems and their
communications links;
Intelligence Based Warfare – the use of
precision munitions enabled by sensor
technology and communications that are
linked for near-real time targeting

technology

10. Cyber warfare/Hacker warfare (around 1990):

A school kid jammed the Warwick airport radar
system for a prolonged time. No military goals.
Various hacker attacks with worms and DDoS
tools.
American Information warfare attack in the Gulf
war (and in the Iraq freedom) destroyed
communication infrastructure in Iraq, especially
in Baghdad
