fowards knowledge”
“Information Literacy empowers peo-
ple in all walks of life to seek, evaluate,
use and create information effectively
to achieve their personal, social, oc-
cupational and educational goal.
Information literacy and lifelong lear-
ning have been described as the bea-
cons of the information society, illumi-

prosperity and freedom.

4. Use of information
- Look up at the information I
have got; (I should read, watch,
listen to, touch…)
- I take some notes about the information I
have got;
- Now, I am going to write a texto, using all
the notes/information I have got, trying to
answer the questions I have asked previously
and giving my own opinion.
P.S. You should not copy. Try to use your
own words when you are explaining what you
have learnt;. The sources of your information
should always be written (at the end of your
text), otherwise, you will be punished by law.
5. Product/Synthesis
- How can I presente my text? (what i have
done): owerpoint, otdoor, leaflet, oral presen-
tation...
- How much time do I need to look for infor-
mation and write my own text?
- What kind of technological devides am I
going to use im my presentation?
1. Task definition
- What should I do?
- What kind of information do i need
to do that? (state a list of questions)
2. Strategies to look for information
- What kind of sources should I look for to get
such information?
3. Location and ways of access
- Where can I find those sources?
- Who can help me to find the infor-
mation I need?
6. Evaluation
How can I assess what i have done?
Before finishing my work, I should check
what i have done:
- The information I have got is the one I
need to answer the question in 1?
- Have I quoted my sources correctly?
- Have I written my own text, using my
own words?
- Is my work/text well written and well
presented?
- Is it finished with the title, the name,
date, bibliography/webgraphy, contents?
- Am I proud of it?
