This document discusses the InFoLiS II project, which aims to make data citations a reality by enabling searchability, reproducibility, and comparability of research data. It describes the Infolink system for detecting dataset patterns in text and generating links between datasets and publications. Challenges addressed include issues of granularity, provenance, broadening the scope to different languages and fields, and integration with other systems. Next steps include stress testing the API, integrating additional data sources, and developing browser plugins to utilize the Infolink capabilities.
