The enterprise telecom market for data services in India is estimated to be around Rs. 5,154 crores and projected to reach Rs. 15,423 crores by growing at a CAGR of 24.5%. MPLS/VPN services make up about 50% of the data services market and are expected to see the most growth. While large enterprises dominate the market, SMB adoption of telecom services is growing rapidly across all sectors, especially in southern India which serves as a key offshore IT destination.

The study evaluated the perceived benefits of electronic business adoption in the Zimbabwean service sector in Harare. A qualitative case study was adopted. The interview technique was deployed as a data gathering instrument. Purposive sampling was used to select 100 service sector companies registered on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (SZE).The findings revealed that electronic business is a catalyst to organisational profitability and productivity. The study also discovered that electronic business improves communication and open economy at national and international level. The study recommended that in order for the sustainable growth of electronic business to take place, the institutional environment requires to be in favour of the online trading systems.

In prepaid markets where the majority of subscribers own more than one SIM card, it is only through nationally-representative surveys that accurate and disaggregated data can be collected. Nationally-representative demand-side surveys are the only means through which reliable estimates on gender, urban-rural ratios and income groups can be drawn. In 2017, Research ICT Africa (RIA) conducted the After Access Survey as part of a 20-country Global South survey in Nigeria and six other African countries: Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania. The Survey in Nigeria demonstrates that a significant portion of Nigerians (71%) do not use the Internet while 36 percent do not have mobile phones. Among the surveyed countries, Nigeria ranks second in Internet penetration, behind South Africa, though the penetration level in Nigeria is still low at 29 percent, not much more than half that of South Africa. The main barriers to Internet use in Nigeria are affordability, web literacy and a lack of access devices such as smartphones and computers. The Survey also demonstrates, as it did with voice services, that the mobile phone plays a significant role in enabling access to the Internet at household and individual levels. Among the individuals who reported having used the Internet, 89 percent claimed to use smartphones. Nonetheless, the high prices of both devices and services constraints uptake by non-users as well as the extent of use by users, hence the need to develop policies and regulations that increase the affordability of access to smart devices and services for low-income earners.

Additionally, attaining optimality and higher added value not only for the management, but also for the actual production process can be ensured . These strategic competitive advantages turn the organizations into leaders in the sector of telecommunications, where digitalization and automation form a specific “ecosystem” and determine the very dynamic and innovative development of the sector over the recent years. The challenge for management is the reproduction of the dynamic processes in a model, which implements a flexible systemic architecture carrying realistic and adequate information about the structure, processes and functional fields of the studied subject, enabling the planning of its activity as a response to the strategic goal setting. The application by the Bulgarian business organizations, operating on the telecommunication market, of such a model, based on heuristic systems with artificial intelligence, would lead to achieving leadership in respect to profit and market share in the sector

Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”. All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
