PROJECT OBJECTIVE
• To study the working principle of fire alarm and smoke detecting
system.
• To design, construct and fire alarm system and smoke detector using
SCADA system.
• To discover fires early in their development when time will still be
available for the safe evacuation of occupants.
Introduction
• A fire alarm system is number of devices working together to detect &
Warn people through visual and audio appliances when
smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other emergencies are present.
• Alarms may be activated from smoke detectors, and heat detectors.
A smoke detector is a device that senses smoke, typically as an indicator
of fire.
SCADA:
 Some of the causes of FIRE in Industries
•Combustible dust.
•Hot work.
•Flammable liquids and gases.
•Equipment and machinery.
•Electrical hazards.
The stages of a Fire.
• Stage one :No visible smoke
• Stage Two:Little visible flame
• Stage Three:Heat begans to build at this stage
Type of Alarm Detection
System
• Conventional system
• Addressable System
 TO CONTROL THE FIRE.
Sensor Fire Alarm
