Title of Research: Laptop Learning:  Effects of using laptops on the Teaching and Learning of a Secondary School Grade 2 (equal to class 8) in mainland China. Research Question: how the application of laptops can support open, problem-oriented and student-centered teaching forms ? What are the benefits of using laptops on the Teaching and Learning? How does laptops change the students' learning motivation and teachers' teaching method? Participants: Secondary School Grade 2 students (two classes about 80-100 students) School teachers
Why is this  Important topic to study this case study is the attempt to compare teaching and learning between the two classroom environments (with and without laptops) The aim is an exploration of the educational opportunities offered by the constant applicability of the laptops as well as the project-oriented vision of teaching and learning of the teachers involved.
How will data be collected and analyzed  Student survey: All participants are required to fill out an questionnaire on the beginning/and the end of the semester. teacher and student interviews: 3-5 teachers and students will be selected to have in-depth interview classroom observations: Two class room observations  will  conduct .   At the end of each observation, a detailed summary of the observation was also produced. Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3
