Indicators and Warnings Searching for and recognizing indicators of potential terrorist activity require a great deal of focus, determination, and patience, especially given the extensive amount of information that must be reviewed. At best, indicators can prevent terrorist attacks. At worst, indicators can be inaccurate or irrelevant. Indicators of potential terrorist activity are wide ranging and may include exhibiting violence against persons or property, purchasing high-performance automatic weapons, and displaying civil disobedience (Global Security, 2009). Warnings are notifications sent to government officials and/or the public about potentially imminent terrorist threats. Undoubtedly, warnings can save lives. Introduction
The topic of security has been an issue for many countries and citizens alike as countries struggle to root out the vice of insecurity that is posing a great threat especially during this technological era where everything is virtually done online. Today every country around the world is grappling with keeping its citizens and institutions safe from external attacks and threats. Some of these threats could be motivated by various factors ranging from political, economic and social issues which make individuals or groups plan some sort of leveling score mission. If we were to review history in the early days during the 17th and 18th century the issues of insecurity among various nations were in existence but not at the height it is in the wake of the 21st century. Those days’ strategic alliances worked best in culminating threats of external and internal invasion, various leaders would call for peaceful resolution of the indifference that might exist between or among groups of nations. The mode or means of attack was not as sophisticated as it today since the only way terrorists would invade empires those days were through the physical means of actually leading an invasion group or plotting with a team on the ground to execute their plan.
Today this tactic has changed leaving institutions mandated with protecting our boundaries and keeping the people safe with a huge task of coming up with various ways of knowing how, where and when the security threats might actually occur. Some of the world leading security institutions that have earned a name for themselves are the homeland security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI and Scotland Yard. These institutions have in the recent past prevented so many attacks plotted against the United States of America and many countries around the world through tapping the wide insecurity network around the world.

The issue of terrorism and external attacks has led to numerous loss of lives and property and must be cubed and properly managed using the most efficient methods so as to ensure proper security. It is evident that terrorists no longer use outdated strategies while carrying out attacks. With technology evolving with time, they have learned and mastered the use of new technology and have succeeded in coming up with some of the toughest attacks to prevent. Therefore, the DHS is left with a tough task and must improvise some of the best tactics in their strategic plan so as to have a proper chance in managing the situation. The intelligent gathering is one of the best elements that can be applied by the DHS in order to come up with the right solutions that will stop or prevent external attacks and terrorism.

Between 1969 and 2009:
- There were over 38,000 terrorist incidents worldwide, of which approximately 3,000 (7.8%) were directed at the United States. Nearly 5,600 people lost their lives and over 16,300 were injured in attacks on the US.
- Terrorism against the US accounted for a small percentage (7.8%) of global terrorism, but a large percentage of attacks on US military (43%), diplomatic (28.4%), and business (24.2%) targets.
- From 2001 to 2009 there were 91 domestic terrorist attacks in the US compared to 380 international attacks. The most common targets were businesses (international 26.6%, domestic 42.9%) and diplomatic offices

Currently there is no widely accepted definition on the concept of cyber weapon, but it can be described as a tool which has been modified for the purpose of carrying out malicious threats or attacks in the cyber space.
The use of Cyber space as a weapon is gradually gaining recognition, to the extent that it is currently been considered a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
In the US. For Instance, the Department of Homeland Security is tasked with the responsibility of protecting its citizens against any form of threat including cyber-attacks. The US has traditionally been perceived to be the world's most dominant cyber force in terms of this kind. Both their capabilities (defensive and offensive) have been actively developed over the last two decades, and appear to be superior to others. In order to strengthen U.S. space defense, the United States Cyber Command (US CYBER) was established in 2010 to ensure freedom of action in cyberspace for the US government and its allies, but prevent adversaries from doing the same.
The three service elements that comprise USCYBER are the Army Cybercom, the Air Force Cybercom, and the Fleet Cybercom. In August 2017 the United States Cyber Command was elevated to the status of a Unified Combatant Command. The proliferations in weaponisation of cyber space by terrorist groups to carry out destructive threats have necessitated the need for in depth analysis on the regulation of the use of cyber space.
In conclusion, although clearly resembling weapons, others say cyberspace might have a different potential to do great harm without actually inflicting financial or human loss, often cyber weapons may be used as less dangerous "conventional" weapons and canolays.
However, due to the fast pace of cyber-related technological developments, leadership changes, senior defense officials must be up to speed with how these technologies impact national security and defense mechanisms so they can have updated or revisions to the current laws regulating cyber usage.
Furthermore, it is suggested that in other to combat the use of cyber space as a weapon, one has to disable the source of the threat in order to neutralize the "cyber weapon" used to attack a target, thereby rendering them ineffective.
In my opinion, limited reliance on cyber space is recommended to effectively combat cyber space terrorism.

Over numerous years, terrorism has continued to present severe threats to the security and peace of nations, which affects the overall population's rights and socio-economic development. It seeks to undermine the values that unite a given country. Ultimately, the global threat is a persistent act. It does not have any border, religion, or nationality. The international community must come together to tackle the challenge by implementing various ways.[footnoteRef:1] For most law enforcement agencies, policymakers, and the population, the topic of terrorism threats and the means to fight it is an essential concern. Throughout history, threats have evolved significantly. Following the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001, the face of threats began to change. Traditionally, threats originated from other nation and nation-states’ military forces. However, threats can now originate from a plethora of other, non-traditional sources that can potentially pose a far more dangerous threat. The infinite possibilities of threat that can be faced forces the United States government to analyze these new threats, their capabilities, and how they need to adjust their approach to better detect, prevent, and combat them. This essay will discuss where non-traditional threats may originate, how capable they are, how the United States government should approach them, and the problems they may face when doing so.
Today, the United States government faces many threats from non-state actors. Non-states can be anything a nation-state is not. Non-state threats are considered non-traditional threats, which makes analyzing them more difficult. These new, non-state actor threats can originate from one of the following sources: terrorist organization, criminal organizations, private organizations, extremist activist groups, lone wolf actors, and even pirates. Today, one of the largest threats the United States finds itself faced with is terrorist that originates from terrorist organizations. Non-traditional threats have presented the United States “with adversaries that are constantly changing and adapting to their environment and who will present fewer obvious patterns to analyze” (Haddock, n.d.). With the endless number of possible threats the United States is faced with, it would be impractical for the United States government to approach all non-state actor threats unilaterally.
Non-state actors have evolved into extremely capable and resourceful entities. “International terrorism once threatened Americans only when they were outside the country. Today international terrorists attack us on our own soil” (Countering the Changing Threat of International Terrorism, n.d.). One of the most common examples of a terrorist organization that the United States has faced threats from is Al Qaeda. Non-state actors such as Al Qaeda have similar characteristics, which include: international operations, funding, and logistical networks, less dependence on state sponsors, developed communication technologies, and lethal objectives (Countering the Changing Threat of International Terrorism, n.d.). Due to the capabilities of non-state actors, the United States government must look to international cooperation to detect, prevent, and combat these non-traditional threats.

Evidence-based researched data to indicate there is a problem
Terrorism is considered a historical and major problem for the U.S. Since 2001, the significance of the problem has increased. Therefore, several organizations and facilities collect and store terrorism data for events like attempted and occurred activities. The main data source for terrorism activities is the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The mandate of this arm of government is to protect Americans both in locally and internationally against crime activities but terrorism seems the greatest enemy of American citizen wherever they are in the world.
Numerous and most useful data for terrorism is found from the following federal agency and private databases:
· The National Security Agency (NSA)
· Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
· National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Response to Terrorism (NCSTRT) and
· Global Terrorism Database (GTD). (FBI, 2014; GTD, 2014)
Information from the above databases are analyzed to present diverse quantitative and qualitative terrorism data that cover several years including life threats to the U.S. soil. According to these databases, terrorism is an old problem and continues to intensify due to availability of uninterrupted new technology as well as growing financial power of their organizations. The Federal Agencies data bases provide information on terrorism activities and information on several strategies that have been used in the past and are currently used to curb the vice (FBI, 2014).
The other terrorist’s data sources are the media agencies. News agencies such as online newspapers and broadcasting corporations provide terrorism data as it occurs. Although these agencies might not provide analyzed data, their role is to increase public awareness about terrorism occurrences and development.

, Damien, makes fires that flicker throughout rainy June nights. He moves about the shores of Lake Muhazi, lighting a new fire on a new spot every night. People who travel to Kayonza come back to Kigali with stories of having seen him during the rainy season as the smokes of his fires constantly go up to the skies, like a man cast away and looking for rescue. Those who have travelled and visited relatives with houses on the hills around Lake Muhazi in recent years to observe his activities say that my son sails up and down the lake during the day, busy ferrying passengers with completely covered faces to the other side. Others even claim that they have seen him up close, and that unlike other undead dead people he does not run away or conceal his face when you approach him. He has remained ten years old throughout the years, only bits of his hair are beginning to grey now.
When his boat work is done in the evenings, he plays his flute into the night, calming Lake Muhazi into even more stillness. He plays the flute so dedicatedly, earnestly, its melody so piercing, with sorrow so intense – a child blowing all his young soul into a musical instrument just so our land can heal. His flute wakes God from his deep sleep, – since Damien has already given God a few warnings, I hear – saying to God, “Thou Shalt Not Sleep, never. Not here in Rwanda, not anymore! Find yourself another bedroom.” Because God used to sleep here in Rwanda, you know. Lately, God stays awake at night looking intently at the world map, planning to migrate.
I carry with me Damien’s one shoe. He is barefoot, Damien, my boy, that is why he has to make these random fires when it rains in June – to warm his feet. Currently there is no widely accepted definition on the concept of cyber weapon, but it can be described as a tool which has been modified for the purpose of carrying out malicious threats or attacks in the cyber space.
The use of Cyber space as a weapon is gradually gaining recognition, to the extent that it is currently been considered a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
In the US. For Instance, the Department of Homeland Security is tasked with the responsibility of protecting its citizens against any form of threat including cyber-attacks. The US has traditionally been perceived to be the world's most dominant cyber force in terms of this kind. Both their capabilities (defensive and offensive) have been actively developed over the last two decades, and appear to be superior to others. In order to strengthen U.S. space defense, the United States Cyber Command (US CYBER) was established in 2010 to ensure freedom of action in cyberspace for the US government and its allies, but prevent adversaries from doing the same.
The three service elements that comprise USCYBER are the Army Cybercom, the Air Force Cybercom, and the Fleet Cybercom. In August 2017 the United States Cyber Command was elevated to the status of a Unified Combatant Command. The proliferations in weaponisation of cyber space by terrorist groups to carry out destructive threats have necessitated the need for in depth analysis on the regulation of the use of cyber space.
In conclusion, although clearly resembling weapons, others say cyberspace might have a different potential to do great harm without actually inflicting financial or human loss, often cyber weapons may be used as less dangerous "conventional" weapons and canolays.
However, due to the fast pace of cyber-related technological developments, leadership changes, senior defense officials must be up to speed with how these technologies impact national security and defense mechanisms so they can have updated or revisions to the current laws regulating cyber usage.
Furthermore, it is suggested that in other to combat the use of cyber space as a weapon, one has to disable the source of the threat in order to neutralize the "cyber weapon" used to attack a target, thereby rendering them ineffective.
In my opinion, limited reliance on cyber space is recommended to effectively combat cyber space terrorism.

With the endless number of possible threats the United States is faced with, it would be impractical for the United States government to approach all non-state actor threats unilaterally.
Non-state actors have evolved into extremely capable and resourceful entities. “International terrorism once threatened Americans only when they were outside the country. Today international terrorists attack us on our own soil” (Countering the Changing Threat of International Terrorism, n.d.). One of the most common examples of a terrorist organization that the United States has faced threats from is Al Qaeda. Non-state actors such as Al Qaeda have similar characteristics, which include: international operations, funding, and logistical networks, less dependence on state sponsors, developed communication technologies, and lethal objectives (Countering the Changing Threat of International Terrorism, n.d.). Due to the capabilities of non-state actors, the United States government must look to international cooperation to detect, prevent, and combat these non-traditional threats.

Evidence-based researched data to indicate there is a problem
Terrorism is considered a historical and major problem for the U.S. Since 2001, the significance of the problem has increased. Therefore, several organizations and facilities collect and store terrorism data for events like attempted and occurred activities. The main data source for terrorism activities is the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The mandate of this arm of government is to protect Americans both in locally and internationally against crime activities but terrorism seems the greatest enemy of American citizen wherever they are in the world.
Numerous and most useful data for terrorism is found from the following federal agency and private databases:
· The National Security Agency (NSA)
· Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
· National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Response to Terrorism (NCSTRT) and
· Global Terrorism Database (GTD). (FBI, 2014; GTD, 2014)
Information from the above databases are analyzed to present diverse quantitative and qualitative terrorism data that cover several years including life threats to the U.S. soil. According to these databases, terrorism is an old problem and continues to intensify due to availability of uninterrupted new technology as well as growing financial power of their organizations. The Federal Agencies data bases provide information on terrorism activities and information on several strategies that have been used in the past and are currently used to curb the vice (FBI, 2014).
The other terrorist’s data sources are the media agencies. News agencies such as online newspapers and broadcasting corporations provide terrorism data as it occurs. Although these agencies might not provide analyzed data, their role is to increase public awareness about terrorism occurrences and development.

, Damien, makes fires that flicker throughout rainy June nights. He moves about the shores of Lake Muhazi, lighting a new fire on a new spot every night. People who travel to Kayonza come back to Kigali with stories of having seen him during the rainy season as the smokes of his fires constantly go up to the skies, like a man cast away and looking for rescue. Those who have travelled and visited relatives with houses on the hills around Lake Muhazi in recent years to observe his activities say that my son sails up and down the lake during the day, busy ferrying passengers with completely covered faces to the other side. Others even claim that they have seen him up close, and that unlike other undead dead people he does not run away or conceal his face when you approach him. He has remained ten years old throughout the years, only bits of his hair are beginning to grey now.
When his boat work is done in the evenings, he plays his flute into the night, calming Lake Muhazi into even more stillness. He plays the flute so dedicatedly, earnestly, its melody so piercing, with sorrow so intense – a child blowing all his young soul into a musical instrument just so our land can heal. His flute wakes God from his deep sleep, – since Damien has already given God a few warnings, I hear – saying to God, “Thou Shalt Not Sleep, never. Not here in Rwanda, not anymore! Find yourself another bedroom.” Because God used to sleep here in Rwanda, you know. Lately, God stays awake at night looking intently at the world map, planning to migrate.
I carry with me Damien’s one shoe. He is barefoot, Damien, my boy, that is why he has to make these random fires when it rains in June – to warm his feet. I rescued this shoe from the mouth of a stray dog which made me run and chase it until I was panting like a hound myself. That was back in ninety-four. I was still a young man in those days. The present paper begins by introducing a number of observations on tiie
appiications ot information teciinoiogy (iT) in tiie field of human resource
management (HRM) in gênerai. Tiiis is due to tiie fact that iT and its wide range of
appiications have already made their presence feit in this area. This wiii be
foliowed by a report on the findings of a survey on the present trends in
organizations with in the different sectors in Turkey. Aithough the impact of iT on
IHRM has iong been attracting the interest of academics, no empiricai research has
ever been reaiized in this fieid in Turiiey, and few studies have been reported
eisewhere. The survey was conducted among the 106 iT managers and
professionais from various sectors, based on whose resuits, the data shows that iT
is used extensiveiy in the organizations to perform IHRM functions in Turicey's
dynamic economy. The results aiso indicated that, while IT has an impact on aii
sectors in terms of IHRM to certain extent, the types of iT used vary significantiy
between recruitment, maintenance, and deveiopment tasi(s. However, the empiricai
resuits here reveai that these organizations are not appiying these technoiogies
systematicaiiy and maturely in the performance of HRM functions.

Technology and HRM have a broad range of influences upon each other, and HR
professionals should be able to adopt technologies that allow the reengineering of the
HR function, be prepared to support organizational and work-design changes caused
by technology, and be able to support a proper managerial climate for innovative and
knowledge-based organizarions.^ These technological advances are being driven
primarily by strong demands from human resource professionals for enhancement in

dressed with protective gears which include the designated face mask, prior to getting exposed to
SARS- COV – 2 viruses. Also, I will have to undertake a 14 day or more in quarantine as well as
undertake the COVID 19 test. I shall also be required to undertake necessary treatments in the event
I am exposed to the virus.

There are various formats for completing a process recording. The following is an outline that covers the major areas we want included within a process recording. Please utilize the template that follows for completing a process recording with an individual, couple or family client(s).
1. Description/Identifying Information: The social work student’s name, date of the interview and the date of submission to the field instructor should always be included. Identify the client, always remembering to disguise client name to protect confidentiality. Include the number of times this client has been seen (i.e., "Fourth contact with Mrs. S."). On a first contact include name and ages of the client(s) you have written about. If client is seen in location other then the agency say where client was seen.
2. Purpose and Goalfor the Interview. Briefly state the purpose of the interaction and if there are any specific goals to be achieved, the nature of the presenting issues and/or referral.
3. Verbatim Dialogue (in the table below). A word-for-word description of what happened, as well as the student can recall, should be completed. This section does not have to include a full session of dialogue but should include a portion of dialogue. The field instructor and student should discuss what portions should be included in the verbatim dialogue.
4. Assessment of the Patient/Client/Consumer. This requires the student to describe the clients’ verbal and nonverbal reactions throughout the session. Consider everything that is occurring such as body language, facial expression, verbal outburst, etc.
5. The Student's Feelings and Reactions to the Client System and to the Interview (in the table below). This requires the student to put into writing unspoken thoughts and reactions s/he had during the interview e.g. "I was feeling angry at what the client was saying, not sure why I was reacting this way…”. “ I wonder what would happen if I said such-and-such.”
6. Identify Skills and/or Theory/ Conceptual Frameworks used (in the table below). The student should be able to identify what skills they used in an interaction, and/or what theoretical framework came to mind as they dialogued e.g. “I used the strengths perspective “ “I used the skill of partializing”
7. Supervisor/field instructor comments (in the table below) This requires the field instructor to provide review and critique of the student’s dialogue with the client system, skill identification, and interpretation of the client interview.
8. A summary assessment/analysis of the student's impressions. This is a summary of the student's analytical thinking about the entire interview and/or any specific interaction the student is unsure about. Include any client action or non-verbal activity that the student may want to discuss. (See Guided Questions at the end of the template for this section A-M)

land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
