  1. Wer viel misst, misst viel mist Für jede Metrik ist es wichtig zu wissen was ist der Zeck und wer definiert sie, s. Test Coverage und dann assertTrue(true). Das passiert nicht wenn ein Team beschließt Test Coverage zu messen, um besser zu werden. Zahlen immer hinterfragen Alles was gemessen wird kann so aufbereitet werden, dass gewünschtes Ergebnis vorliegt Immer deutlich machen was mit den Zahlen geschieht Erhöhung der Produktivität basiert auf Metriken, aber folgendes vermeiden: Ziele setzen ohne Zweck zu (er)klären Ziele für Teams setzen Messen um zu kontrollieren Etwas messen ohne zu wissen warum Etwas nur aufgrund einer Metrik erstellen  waste! Messen auf Transparenz Transparenz auf Vertrauen  ansonsten Kontrolle

  3. How long does it take on average to deliver value? D.h. am besten vorab: welchen wert bietet welche story?  valuable, usable, feasible bzw. Wert für Kunden + uns Prio basierend auf wert Messen der Produktivität basierend auf Wert der geliefert wurde

Auch: wann wurde gestartet über das Produkt/Projekt/Feature zu reden und wie lange dauerte es dann bis man angefangen hat daran zu arbeiten? Die Verzögerung der Werterstellung kann auch daran liegen, dass wir anhand von Architekturlayern arbeiten und nicht auf Basis von Features, die einen Mehrwert bieten

Plan / estimate but don‘t deliver Abhängigkeiten zwischen Teams, oder Drittanbietern Warten auf eine Entscheidung Zu große Stories Ein MA eine Story (s. Experten später)…  Abhängigkeiten auflösen! Und dafür sorgen, dass alle arbeiten können, z.B. was fehlt dem Team (von dem wir abhängen) so dass es nicht die Dinge abschließen kann? Deliver, but don‘t produce value Recommendation: Establish cross-functional teams Slice stories so they can be delivered in an iteration Plan features that provide a (business) value

Investment (ROI) muss für Entwicklung klar sein, anderfalls ist u.U. nicht nur das Produkt ein Fehlschlag sondern es bedroht auch die Existenz des Unternehmens  manchmals Estimate der Entwicklung weniger wichtig als das Investitionsvolumen des Business Yet: Does this allow enough innovation & feedback Is the customer paying for this Thus: Consider how much the business wants to invest
  14. Fred Brooks: How does a project get to be a year late ? One day at time… Common concepts: Definition of Ready Sprint Zero Yet: What problems do these solve in your context? Can you deliver without that delay? Beide sind Verzögerungstaktiken….
