The exhibition 'In Absentia' at the Sydney College of the Arts explores memory and the interplay of absence and presence through the works of four artists: Lisa Tolcher, Melissah Chalker, Camilla Cassidy, and Danica Knezevic. Each artist employs distinct approaches to interrogate historical narratives and concepts of memory, utilizing minimalist and monochromatic styles. The event, running from October 18-28, also serves as a platform for current art students impacted by the closure of their campus.
