A 38-year-old male patient visited the clinic needing a tooth extracted from the upper left back tooth region. Upon examination, it was found to have a root canal treated root stump. The patient agreed to have the root extracted and immediately receive a dental implant. The root was carefully extracted to preserve the bone. A osteotomy was performed and a 4.2x14mm implant was placed, achieving an adequate torque of 40 Nm. Bone graft material was placed and sutures were used to complete the immediate implant procedure.
