This is my Equivalents Project Summary which involved me in evaluating my own performance in many different ways, looking at Visual Language, Annotation, Time Management and many other aspects.
Evaluation

In Illustrator, he learned key shortcuts like Command + Shift + 4 for screenshots and how to create brushes. In Photoshop, he documented skills like using clipping masks, custom gradients, and layer blending modes. He also evaluated some of his own artwork, like feeling his "Evan Hecox type picture" was messy and could be improved. Overall, the log provides a concise summary of Connor's growing digital design skills.
Magazine production reflection
James reflects on the process of creating a double page magazine spread. He started by choosing a grey background instead of white. He added borders and pictures before writing the text. An interview quote was used to fill an awkward gap. The initial cover photo did not work well so a concert photo was chosen instead. Additional artist photos were too bright, so stock images and texture/color changes were made. Contrast and brightness adjustments fixed remaining bright photos. A black line was added under one artist to prevent them from looking like they were floating. The title was placed over a black and red background to make it stand out.

Process journal20
Jee Yeon Park continued painting their light support and base for a project. They initially chose brown paint for the light support but it did not match as intended, so only brown was used. Painting was difficult with poor brushes. Mixing green, yellow, and white created the desired color for the base, but only part was painted due to time and paint amount. The gantt chart was changed as painting was nearly complete instead of sanding. Care was taken painting the light support near delicate petals. Knowledge of color mixing was applied. Community and service were involved through color choices helping others.

She used bright yellow text to maintain the neon theme. For the second cover featuring Billie Eilish, Olivia darkened the background and added a glow around Eilish so she stood out more. She matched the text colors to Eilish's hair color to tie the design together professionally.

The teacher will be teaching a high school music appreciation class made up of mostly middle class local students with equal numbers of boys and girls who learn best through audio/visual means and research projects. The objectives are for students to critically analyze, describe, evaluate, and make inferences about music and its relationships to other subjects by the end of the class. On Friday, students will create presentations using Voki.com to cumulatively summarize everything they learned about opera for the week, to prove their appreciation and understanding of opera. The teacher will assess each student individually against state standards to evaluate whether the unit objectives were successfully met.

Image of green paint
- 1. Price 1 David “Wesley” Price CI 350-102 Editing an Image on Photoshop I searched for an image that I could use to practice editing on Photoshop. I found a picture of a can of green paint with the lid beside it, a paintbrush in it, and a can opener In front of it (Beres, 2011).Then I reviewed the tutorials on Lynda.com and YouTube. For this image I used two tutorials on one image. The first alteration I made was following a YouTube tutorial on inverting the color scheme. The largely green and white image turned an interesting purple and black when the colors were inverted. The lid of the can looked odd after the color change, so I followed directions from Lynda.com to crop it out. This left a hole in the image, so I used a painting program to make a page of black. I used the page I made as a new layer and set it behind the image with the hole. Finally, to make sure the image was clearly a can of paint, not soup, I used text to label the image with the word paint. For my second image, I chose a black and white image of the Sydney Opera House, because my unit plan is on opera (Sydney, 2013). My first change was to write opera in my own handwriting, in writing which was shaded from red to gold. The image had small white print in the bottom right hand corner. I used a brush tool to cover the words. I chose the brush tool because it looked like water, and blended in. Then I used an erase tool to put in some white and grey clouds. The final, and my favorite addition was a small flick of birds I drew in with a pencil writing tool.
