The 6 Chambers of Commerce in Latvia, Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce in conjunction
with Netherlands – Latvian Chamber of Commerce, Swiss Chamber
of Commerce in Latvia, Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia,
French Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and Belgium Latvian
Business Club enjoyed an evening in the cosy atmosphere of the
Mentzendorff`s House. Guests were given the opportunity to walk
around the museum, enjoy the dinner with wine and draft beer,
and take a chance in the lottery with some fabulous prizes.
The income from the lottery was donated to the Children`s
Hospital.

His Excellency presented the Core themes of the Presidency
and emphasized the following priorities for getting the

 ILCC has signed agreement with ‘’ERGO Insurance SE Latvia affiliate’’ granting the
possibility of special prices for insurance for ILCC members and friends.

 In cooperation with ‘’BDO Tax and legal’’ ILCC has promoted the seminar “2013
Changes in the corporate and individual income tax laws, the real estate and value
added tax laws” which was widely visited and received positive feedback.

ILCC supports the research carried out by the Centre for Sustainable Business at the
Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) to identify specific business values and
approaches in the Baltic region.
The objectives of the research are:
(1) to gather information on business culture/business approaches specific to the
Baltic region, and define differences between business cultures in other regions
or states to identify which business values and approaches foster international
cooperation, and which hinder the process;
(2) to evaluate the business culture in the Baltic region in terms of sustainability.
