Leading the Way for Industry-Academia
Collaboration with Its Considerate
Approach
W
e are all living in a rapidly evolving world. Those who rely
on a particular skillset need to understand that the shelf
life of skills is constantly diminishing. Especially students
need to become adept change-masters, capable of
navigating unfamiliar roles in yet-to-be-established companies. The
uncertainty of post-graduation scenarios underscores the importance of
preparing students to embrace new challenges and opportunities as they
emerge.
Given this backdrop, IIM Nagpur has launched a revolutionary teaching methodology based on research-
based insights to empower its students and alumni with modern learning methods that resonate with the
contemporary world.
In exclusive talks with Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, our team conversed about various facets of the Institution’s
excellence in Business Studies. In this article, let’s explore some insights shared by the luminary.
Worth More Than A Glance
IIM Nagpur has the reputation of being an Institution renowned for its transformative impact. Today, it
stands tall in the Business Education landscape, crafting countless success stories that resonate across the
student community. Its unwavering commitment to excellence and industry integration has positioned it
as a beacon of innovation and learning.
In fostering industry connections and collaborations, IIM Nagpur has pioneered a robust Executive
Education Division. The Administration always focuses on embodying a two-fold approach. Firstly, it
provides tailor-made short-term programmes catering to esteemed organizations like Coal India Limited,
Western Coalfields, Lupin, Indian Oil, Hindustan Petroleum, NLC India, MOIL, Bharat Petroleum,
Samsung, etc. These steps empower senior and top management leaders with specialized skills.
Secondly, the Institution offers a diverse range of long-term postgraduate certificate programmes
and proudly hosts 24 distinct offerings. Dr. Metri shed light on the ground-breaking 1st Cyber
Security Programme, a pioneering initiative in collaboration with FedEx Institute of Technology at the
University of Memphis, followed by an in-house venture. This programme, including Blockchain, marks
unprecedented educational strides, attracting participation from global cohorts.
Moreover, IIM Nagpur actively undertakes Consultancy projects in collaboration with esteemed
organizations such as Larsen and Toubro, Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra, Bosch, Titan,
and the National Cancer Research Institute. These engagements serve as practical learning opportunities
and inform the Institution about industry trends and emerging skills, enriching the academic discourse
within MBA classrooms.

Dr.MetrialsomentionedtheInstitute’sincorporationofpractitioner-
oriented courses, such as Sales and Distribution and Consumer
Behaviour, where industry experts conduct the entire course. This
approach allows students to dive into Business Education with the
latest information, trends, and insights into corporate disruptions.
These methods are a part of the holistic approach adopted by the
Business School, encompassing teaching, training, research, and
consulting.
The holistic nature of the Business School implies that new
knowledge generated through these avenues is reinvested into
teaching, benefiting the student community. Furthermore, industry-
related research plays a crucial role, with its findings contributing
to the development of the academic curriculum and enhancing the
learning experience for students.
Thought Curriculum
To keep the curriculum updated according to industry needs, Dr.
Metri elucidated that the Institution conducts a comprehensive
review of its curriculum every two to three years. Within the
past two years, a complete overhaul of the curriculum has been
executed. This process involves 16 corporate leaders from various
sectors collaborating with the faculty curriculum review committee
in devising a new MBA curriculum.
Core courses were refined during these meetings, and elective
courses were identified. The curriculum revision was aligned
with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, reflecting the
Institution’s commitment to staying current with the educational
reforms. Simultaneously, the curriculum has been customized to
remain relevant to the industry trends and disruptions, reflecting a
dual objective of aligning with NEP guidelines and adding value to
the rapidly changing corporate landscape.
New courses have been introduced to address emerging needs.
Courses like ‘Indian Ethos & Business Ethics’ and ‘Corporate
Governance, CSR & Sustainability’ emphasize ethics and
sustainability in business practices. Additionally, recognizing
the importance of mental well-being in high-pressure corporate
environments, a course titled ‘Science of Happiness’ was created to
explore proactive stress management and well-being measures. The
Institution’s acknowledgment of the significant influence of Indian
culture and traditions in global leadership allowed to launch courses
such as ‘Management Perspectives from History & Scriptures,’
aligning with the ethos of the National Education Policy’s emphasis
on the Indian Knowledge System.
of students’ interest among the participating
institutions. This trend validates the decision to
join CAP, as it simplifies the admission process
for students and reduces the logistical challenges
associated with multiple interviews and
examinations.
By adopting CAP, IIM Nagpur ensures students
have a streamlined experience, with one exam and
interview as the gateway to multiple institutions.
This approach benefits students and allows
IIM Nagpur to access a larger pool of potential
candidates, enhancing the Institution’s diversity
and academic excellence.
Staying Relevant to The Business
Community
IIM Nagpur is the epicenter of 96 companies within
the MIHAN Multiproduct Economic Zone. It has
held a unique position for years, bridging academia
and industry. Located in the Industrial Zone, IIM
Nagpur knows the business community’s pulse.
It symbolizes its strategic location at national and
industrial levels, underscoring its commitment to
fostering a strong connection between business
education and real-world practices. Through a
myriad of events, activities, and conferences, the
Institute actively builds a robust interface between
academia and industry, propelling the industry-
academia interaction to new heights.
In 2023, IIM Nagpur hosted many prestigious
conferences that reflected dedication to advancing
knowledge exchange and collaboration. The Zero
Mile Samvad (ZMS) Conference gathered industry
‘Change Masters of India’ is also a remarkable addition to this
series. The core focus is on keeping the value of tradition at the
forefront while teaching the students, asserts Dr. Metri. He adds,
“we reside in a disruptive world where everyday contexts and
skillsets are changing.”
The Role of Common Admission Process
Discussing the 2024 admission process, Dr. Metri explains that
IIM Nagpur joined the Common Admission Process (CAP) this
year, marking a significant milestone as the Institute becomes a
Member Institution under CAP. This move is underscored by
the recent announcement of CAT results, where IIM Nagpur
emerged as one of the top choices among students in terms of
the number of interested applicants, out of 2.88 lakh candidates.
Despite being a newcomer to the CAP process, IIM Nagpur’s
popularity is evident, as it accounts for a large number
leaders, government officials, and thought leaders from various sectors to
discuss navigating disruptions in the evolving business landscape. Insights
and strategies were shared on adapting to changing work dynamics, facing
disruptions, and leveraging innovation to stay ahead in the competitive market.
Anothermega-eventwastheInternationalFederationforInformationProcessing
(IFIP) Working Group 8.6 Conference, focusing on Information Systems
Research and Industry-Institute Connect. Renowned researchers and scholars
from around the world converged at Nagpur to share cutting-edge research
trends and discuss the evolving dynamics of industry-academia partnerships.
Additionally, in collaboration with the German organization Humanistic
Management Network (HMN), IIM Nagpur hosted the 11th Annual Humanistic
ManagementConference,bringingtogetherHRleadersfromIndiaandGermany
to address challenges posed by technological advancements and automation.
This conference delved into managing Human Resources in an increasingly
automated world, emphasizing the importance of maintaining human values
and sustainability amidst technological disruptions.
`
Dr. Metri affirms that such gatherings allow the convenient exchange of new
knowledge and facilitate valuable networking opportunities and collaborative
research endeavors. Additionally, IIM Nagpur’s recent collaboration with the
Vidarbha Management Association (VMA) led to the organization of Central
India’s largest MSME conference - Central India Management Conclave’24
(CIMCON’24), attracting over 500 participants from the MSME Sector. This
conference addressed vital management challenges faced by MSMEs in Central
India, further demonstrating their commitment to supporting and empowering
local businesses.

Parting Words from Dr. Metri
Before signing off, Dr. Metri shared a few
words with our readership, “Tomorrow’s
leaders should be great sense-makers.
They should lead ahead of time and
have a growth mind-set. Sense-making,
leading ahead of time, and having a
growth mind-set are three parameters
essential for students to lead in this
uncertain, dynamic world. I must say that
all great leaders are great readers, and
everybody should read more to lead.”
Major Highlight
IIM Nagpur’s innovative Entrepreneurship Development Cell primarily empowers women entrepreneurs. With 42
mentored individuals already benefiting from these training programmes, six have successfully transitioned from start-
ups to scalable enterprises. The Institution’s achievements extend to securing significant funding from prestigious bodies
like NITI Aayog, notably receiving the highest funding of 10 Crore Rupees for the Atal Innovation Centre (AIC). The
InFED also implements the DST’s NIDHI - EIR scheme for supporting ten aspiring entrepreneurs with a fellowship grant
of Rs. 30,000/- per month for one year. These initiatives, supported by the Government of India and implemented by
InFED, aim to bolster young talents and foster a nurturing start-up ecosystem for budding entrepreneurs.
Career Support and Placement
IIM Nagpur has established a dedicated Cell that orchestrates many activities to support current students and
alumni. Through this Cell, experts are invited to provide valuable career guidance and direction, benefiting our
students in charting their professional journeys. Additionally, alumni actively engage in e-mentoring initiatives,
further bolstering our students’ development and success. The remarkable placement record of IIM Nagpur speaks
volumes about our commitment to excellence, with consistent growth trajectories reflected in our placement statistics.
This sustained growth has positioned IIM Nagpur as the fastest-growing IIM, earning us a reputation as a dynamic
and thriving Business School within India and internationally, akin to India’s status as the fastest-growing economy
globally.
“IIM Nagpur has nine quality collaborations. We have collaborated with institutions from Japan, France, the UK, the
US, and other parts of the world. As a part of these collaborations, we offer exchange programmes and dual degree
programmes. For instance, we have collaborated with the University of Lille, France. As part of this collaboration,
five students can come to our Institute, and our five can go to theirs without any tuition fee exchange. Students
from the University of Lille spend six months at our campus for academic activities. Our students spend time at the
University of Lille for the next six months. At the end of the two years, the students will receive two degrees, one
from IIM Nagpur and one from the University of Lille, France,” mentions Dr. Metri, emphasizing the importance of
providing students with global exposure through the Institution.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s
When we look around, we see success stories of many people which motivates us to work hard despite the challenges and
turbulences in the journey towards success. One such inspirational tale lies in the life of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Born on 30th
July 1947 in Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger started his career from scratch with a not-so-adorable childhood. Nothing could
stop the dedicated person in Arnold, not even his family tragedies. The best action hero of all time has faced challenges in nearly
every step of his life, but he believed in himself and climbed the ladder of success.
With a phenomenal career, Arnold Schwarzenegger is acclaimed to be the most popular personality alive. Alongside being
the best action movie star, Arnold is undoubtedly the most recognized and famous bodybuilder. In his entire childhood,
Arnold faced a conflicting relationship with his father under the suspicion of Arnold not being the biological son of Gustav
Schwarzenegger, and due to this, he was neglected over his elder brother.
Inspired by his father, Arnold pushed himself towards sports from a young age and deep-dived into weight lifting and
bodybuilding, and it soon turned into his passion. For the same, Arnold’s mother remained sceptic and thought his son was
ill when she saw the pictures of male body builders in his room, for which she even called the doctors.
At age 18, Arnold served his compulsory Austrian Army’s one-year service as a tank driver where he was put in a military
prison under the charges of insubordination for participating in the Junior Mr. Europe competition. Interestingly, Arnold
Schwarzenegger purchased the tank he drove after he became successful.
What we face
may look
insurmountable,
but what I learned
is that we are
always stronger
than
we know.
Inspirational Life Story
BUILDING YEARS
Genuinely speaking, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s age was never a barrier for him to excel in his career. However, he has achieved
remarkable milestones at a very young age. Here, one of them is the Mr. Universe competition which he won at his second
attempt in 1967 just at the age of 20, making him the youngest person ever to win the competition. After that, he won the same
competition thrice.
Hereafter, Arnold Schwarzenegger moved to Munich in Germany and attended a business school. There he spelt one of his
coaches “I’m going to become the greatest actor”, and the amount of confidence Arnold carried can be seen in the sentence
mentioned above.
Arnold considered America to be the land of
opportunity, and he got the ticket to move
to the USA with his Mr. Universe trophy. As
soon as he moved to the city of prospects, he
left his Austrian accent.
• TRAGEDY
In 1971, Arnold’s brother, Meinhard, died
in a traffic accident, and a year and a half
later, Arnold Schwarzenegger lost his father
too. Despite possessing a good relationship
with brother Meinhard, he did not attend
his funeral with the fear of having to face
his father with whom he didn’t carry a good
relation.
• POPULARITY THROUGH MOVIES
The evergreen actor’s desire to embark
upon the journey of acting was realized
after he was cast in Hercules in New Yorkin
1969. He got increasing fame with the 1977
movie name Pumping Iron. Things came
to his favour since his 1982 movie role in
Conan the Barbarian, after which he was
up for the lead position in the sequel Conan
the Destroyer. In the same year, Arnold
Schwarzenegger played his most famous
role of The Terminator. This movie solidified
his image as an action hero alongside the
popular actor Sylvester Stallone.
• PERSONAL LIFE
In 1986, Arnold married Maria Shriver of
the Kennedy family and lived in Brentwood
neighbourhood of Los Angeles in California.
Both Arnold and Maria gave birth to four
children named Katherine, Christina,
Patrick, and Christopher, and in 2011 the
couple shockingly opted for separation.
Years later, it was discovered that Arnold
had another child out of wed lock with
the family maid who was born days after
Christopher’s birth. Regretting the incident,
Arnold said “As inspirational as I am for
my accomplishments, my mistakes should
also serve as a warning” because this led to
family pain and splitting up of the whole
family.
Today, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s
bodybuilding books, his life struggles,
and achievements are a great source of
motivation and inspiration for everyone.

THE BEGINNING – TO NURTURE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) is recognized as one of the premier institutions of higher
learning and research in the country. Since its founding in 1949, the university has shown a strong interest
in and dedication to the maintenance and promotion of an environment that is conducive to the growth
and development of academic achievement. This dedication is a part of the institution’s rich legacy. One
of the earliest academic institutions in Western India, the “Baroda College,” was established in 1881 by
His Highness Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. It served as a precursor to Maharaja Sayajirao University
and contributed to its founding legacy. In 1909, the enlightened ruler established the “Kala Bhavan”. The
Legislative Assembly passed the bill to establish the university, and the Maharaja Sayajirao University of
Baroda came into existence on April 30, 1949. It is a State University with English as its medium of instruction
and is a premier unitary residential University.
AREA OF EXPANSION
The university has 16 Hostels (12 boys and 4 girls), a health center, a sports field, a convocation field, a press and
stationery unit, a guest house, and other academic and administrative buildings. In addition, there are a number of
lecture halls and conference rooms, an amphitheater, a play box, an art gallery, an arboretum, a botanical garden,
eight well-equipped seminar halls, nine multipurpose auditoriums, and two open-air theaters. A variety of artifacts,
including terracotta Buddha statues, sacred relics of Lord Buddha, Toraman, and Harappan unicorn seals, may be
found in the Archaeological Museum on campus. The institution contains an astronomical observatory with an 8-inch
refractor telescope that was established in 1939 to advance the study of science.
The university has a stunning union pavilion that overlooks a large field that is home to a variety of outdoor
facilities, including an athletic track, a cricket field, hockey and football fields, two tennis courts, two
basketball courts, four volleyball courts, two kabaddi grounds, malkhamb, a kho-kho ground, a handball
court, and a swimming pool. The table tennis room, badminton court, gymnasium, and multipurpose room
are all indoor amenities. The University Health Center houses a physiotherapy department, a pathology
lab, and the Marg Counseling Center, in addition to offering normal medical care to university employees
and students.
The University’s Student Facilitation Center offers information on admissions, programs, applications, the
creation of examination forms and hall tickets, results, counseling, and queries relating to students’ academic
careers. The university has established a center for student support, where students can go for one-stop service
for all of their academic and research needs. The Office of Career Advancement for Students handles counseling,
training, and placement, as well as teaching soft skills and working with organizations to organise placement
drives. The majority of faculties have a placement rate of 100 percent. The general trend, both on and off campus,
is a placement rate of 65% on average. Students from sections with lower economies get scholarships from the
Directorate of Students’ Welfare.
STUDENT FACILITATION CENTER
A start-up center and incubator have been established on campus to promote
creativity and give young people a place to explore and put new ideas into
practice before turning them into start-up businesses. Prerna, Paramarsh,
Footprints, BBA Baazigar, Cyberia, Yuvaantas, and Kaafila are a few examples
of academic, social, and technical events that are solely planned and run by
students. They are now well-known and well-liked not only in the state but
also nationwide. The university’s office of alumni affairs also gathers data on
various alumni associations, plans monthly interaction sessions in various
departments, plans reunions, compiles information on notable alumni, and
aids in alumni registration. The institution has also developed the Institute of
Leadership and Governance, which primarily focuses on teaching and studying
excellent governance structures, methods, and procedures, all of which are
extremely important today. The institution encourages student involvement in a
variety of processes; therefore, it holds student elections and encourages active
participation from students to help them develop their leadership skills.

would become a tangible reality in the current world. Now,
3D printing is revamping industries and calling for skilled
professionals to take it higher aloft. The impact of 3D printing
is particularly being seen in the biomedical and industrial
sectors, where this technology has opened new horizons for

The emergence
3D dimensional objects were quite an unimaginable concept a few years back. But no, it has become instrumental
in supporting the innovation ecosystem. 3D printing aka additive manufacturing, facilitates the development
of physical objects layer by layer that are based on digital models. Posing as a game-changer in numerous
industries, 3D Printing would introduce endless possibilities to facilitate better customization, efficiency, and
cost effectiveness in favour of businesses.
International job
offerings
3D printing is seeping into various parts of the
business world and continues to grow at a rapid
pace. Hence, the demand of skilled professionals
who are proficient in this technology is increasing
day by day. For companies operating in data
and healthcare sectors, where 3D printing is a
cornerstone of product development, various high-
paying and international job opportunities await.
The key to entering this exciting field is a strong
knowledge base in artificial intelligence (AI),
machine learning, 3D modelling, and, of course, 3D
printing.
Roles and responsibilities
Responsibilities in this domain are all about
overseeing the customer experience (CX) aspects
of 3D printing projects. Here, the core focus is
on a unique combination of tech efficacy, project
management skills, and customer centricity. It
exudes the design, testing, and maintenance of
3D printers, requiring expertise in engineering,
materials science, and a comprehensive
understanding of 3D printing technologies.
The focus of the professionals in this field shifts
to developing virtual prototypes with the help of
emulation software. This would require skills in
software development, system architecture, and
the ability to simulate real-world scenarios. On
top of that, the responsibilities have been extended
to training and programming robots integral to
the 3D printing processes. Those who wish to
penetrate this field need to have a background
in robotics, programming languages, and a keen
understanding of automation.
The takea

The rise of 3D printing has opened
exciting avenues for those skilled
in AI, machine learning, modelling,
and 3D printing technologies. With
a global demand for expertise in
this dynamic field, professionals
can explore international job
opportunities, positioning
themselves at the forefront
of innovation. As industries
increasingly adopt additive
manufacturing, the ongoing growth
in demand for specialised skills
makes 3D printing a not only
impactful but enduring career
choice.
What are its
applications?
The power of 3D Printing
is prominently about
to revolutionise the
biomedical and industrial
sectors where it will
be at the forefront of
innovations. In the
healthcare sector, this
technology would
be utilised to create
personalised prosthetics,
organ models for surgical
planning, and even
intricate bio-printed
tissues. Whereas in the
industrial realm, 3D
printing would drive a
wave of rapid prototyping
to allow companies to
iterate designs and launch
products in the market at
faster pace.

Sunglasses are the ultimate
fashion accessory, almost worn
by everyone, and without them most
wouldn’t leave home. When the sun is glaring
off the town and you pick your sunglasses out of
your back, once you lip them on,
you instantly change your appearance.
Supreme Fashion Accessory
Reasons Why Sunglasses Acts More
Than Just An Accessory
It’s no longer a medical necessity, just a style need. The dreary vision-correcting computer machine revamped
surprisingly into a cool and swanky faddish accessory. The rage is so strong that, just for the sake of fashion even
people with perfect vision wear lenses.
Here are some reasons why, before you head out the door, you’ll
want to catch those shades:
PROTECT EYES FROM UV RAYS
One of the most significant advantages of wearing sunglasses
is that they shield the eyes from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet
radiation and the fragile skin around them. Exposure to UV
can lead to cataracts and cause glaucoma symptoms worse.
Moreover, about to 10 per cent of skin cancers are found near
the eyes. Choose glasses that cover the eyes entirely and make
sure that they have 100 per cent UVA and UVB protection.
PROTECT EYES FROM GLARE
Sunglasses not only let you see better when it’s light outside,
but they also decrease the amount you need to squint by the
cutting back on the sun. Squinting will lead to headaches,
exhaustion and eye pressure, as well as the formation over
time of fine lines in the skin around the eyes. When you
squint, it’s also difficult to see clearly, which can lead to
injuries, particularly when driving. Maximum glare safety
is offered by polarized sunglasses.
DARK ADAPTATION
After you are exposed to intense sunshine, sunglasses allow
you to refocus your vision. If you will not adapt for long
stretches after being exposed to the sun, your night vision
may be impaired. You’ll find it hard to see the road while
you are riding at night. Riding becomes risky when you
haven’t been wearing shades.
RAY-BAN
A debut back in the 1930s, the Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses made
their airline flights more popular, and the legends of the era
were pilots. The Italian-based company offer polarised lenses
to shield the eyes from sunlight. In the 1980s, with the release
of films such as “Top Gun” and “Risky Business,” these glasses
gained attention.
MAUI JIM
In the early 1980s, Maui Jim sunglasses made their debut at
a hotel pool in Maui, Hawaii. By 1988, the mainland was just
starting to see them. This sunglasses are built for males and
females alike. Many of the models have polarised lenses of
varying colours that shield against the sunshine glare.
VERSACE
In 1978 Versace was started, this Italian fashion house made
its debut in Milan, Italy. Versace sunglasses are known for
their ornate, female-centred logo, and their wrap around
and aviator styles are common. Much of the lenses are
polarised to shield the eyes. Some women’s styles involve
ornate and lavish details.

The Education sector in India is ascending great heights due
to the application of digital technology in the arena. In the
present scenario, this amalgamation is of the utmost need
for imparting quality education to students. Gone are the
days, when children were wholly dependent on the tradi-
tional methods of teaching in the classroom. In the era of In-
ternet, the educational domain has undergone a sea- change
and a radical transformation. A number of e-learning service
providers have created a canopy to help students in shap-
ing a better future. One of them is Edunguru. Edunguru has
brought an incredible revolution with its exemplary e-learn-
ing services. The organization is led by Romie Dutt, the Chief
Executive Officer of this exceptional organization.
INSIGHTS OF ITS OFFERINGS
Edunguru envisions offering excellent quality education to
students across the nation. The purpose of this organization
is achieved with the help of a competent Governing Council,
who represents the elite from the education industry. Edun-
guru has more than five hundred qualified, experienced and
effective teachers in their Academic Excellence Board, and a
group of toppers of various competitive exams in their Stu-
dent Advisory Board. The organization has developed a be-
hemoth of offerings in the educational arena; it offers three
thousand and three hundred forty Courses, which includes
K12 Level (CBSE plus ten Hindi Speaking State boards), Gov-
ernment Exams such as Banking, Railways, SSC, UPSC Civil
Services, etc. Management Exams, Medical, Engineering and
various other competitive Examinations via online medium
such as the web portal and mobile applications, and offline
(USBs /Hard drives) modes in two languages like Hindi and
English, to reach up to 3 tier cities in India. The organiza-
tion also provides Spoken English programs, to leverage the
communication skills of students.
The Company’s prime focus is to leverage the standards of
education in the nation; hence, it uses dynamic and advanced
methodologies to offer education. To make learning easy,
understandable and enjoyable for the students, the core team
of Edunguru has deeply analyzed the entire curriculum, and
picked up the quintessential Learning Objectives for the stu-
dents. The faculty delivers lectures through Concept Based
Methods. Each lecture is predefined with Interactive Class
Sessions, Animations, Live Demonstrations, Diagrams, and
Illustrations to enrich the learning experience.
For adding the element of interactivity in the class, Edunguru
has added questions and answers for the students. This helps
in making the concepts clearer and provides an opportunity
to self-evaluate.
The Student’s foray into e-learning commences with an
excellently explained video on a particular concept by the
expert teacher in his or her domain, followed by Multiple
Choice Questions to check whether the student has under-
stood the concept along with Tutor Authored eBooks which
consist of notes based on Video Lectures, Practice and Mock
test papers for the students.
Edunguru also assists each student with a host of services
such as a telephone Call or a Video Call with the Teacher,
privately or in a group, Live Webinar Sessions, EDUCHAT
ROOMS with peers in the city, State or even at the National
level, and a few more to be introduced soon such as Physical
Doubt Clearing Classes by Visiting Faculties.
PROMINENT REASON BEHIND THE ESTABLISHMENT
The founder of Edunguru has a noble vision behind the es-
tablishment of this unbeatable organization. It is an unfor-
tunate, but true fact that children in India are not attaining
quality education due to a multitude of reasons. India has
the largest and youngest population in the world with peo-
ple between sixteen to forty years of age, and this group is
capable of bringing about a positive and great change. The
exemplar of a great vision states, “We have schools, colleg-
es now in every state, but we can still see that a significant
part of our population is not even getting the deserved basic
education.”
There were numerous reasons to establish Edunguru, like
lack of School Infrastructure, Financial Challenges, Safety
and Security of Children, but the foremost was the ‘Quality
Of Education.’
To spread the dimensions of Edunguru to the Grass Root
Level of Society, Romie Dutt envisaged the company.
THE ROADBLOCKS
The company underwent a host of obstacles in pedagogy,
content and deliverables, but the greatest of them was select-
ing expert faculties and teachers for the Video Shoot, who
had a clear understanding of their subject, especially the
concepts, their delivery methods, approach, and above all,
ensuring that they had a neutral accent, which could easily
be understood by students in India.
EDUNGURU :
Rendering Quality Education Through A Digital Platform
Moreover, training and enabling the faculties’ video shoot with no prior shooting experience, was a major challenge. Gradu-
ally, the company coped with all the challenges, and emerged as one of the best organizations in the genre.
GOVERNMENT’S ROLE
The government has successfully launched several programs under the initiatives such as ‘Digital India’ and ‘Skill India’ to
spread digital literacy, create a knowledge-based society in India, and implement three principles ‘access, equity and quality’
of the Education Policy. The programs are:
• e-Basta: provides school books in digital form
• e-Education: all schools are connected with broadband and free Wi-Fi, and support MOOCs which is Massive Online
Open Courses.
• Nand Ghars: digital tools as teaching aids
• SWAYAM: MOOCs based on curriculum taught in classrooms from ninth standard till post-graduation.
• India Skills Online: learning portal for skill training.
• In order to establish digital infrastructure, the government has also launched National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN),
which aims to expand broadband connectivity and faster network.
The Indian government has pioneered this vertical, and is constantly supporting the e-learning domain. It is very encouraging
to know that the Indian government is very interested in developing this vertical.
ASTOUNDING MILESTONES AND FUTURE PLANS
Since the company’s inception, it has carved its name in the list of some amazing and incredible achievements. It has more
than forty thousand registrations, more than sixteen thousand paid users, eighty thousand plus mobile application down-
loads, more than twelve thousand Facebook likes, eight thousand plus Organic You tube Subscribers, etc. All these triumphs
were achieved within the last nine months, and the best part is that all this happened without even a proper Pan India Launch
or any advertising.
Edunguru, in its first phase, has covered the ten states such as Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand,
Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Delhi NCR. In addition, it had spread its dimensions to states like
Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Odisha, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Chandigarh, Goa, Dadra &
Nagar Haveli, and Nagaland.
With India’s Biggest Employer, as their Strategic Sales and Marketing Partner, with a more than 3,00,000 Sales force, it is quite
natural that by the end of 2019, EDUNGURU sees itself as the Leading Digital Education Provider in India, and who knows,
The Leading in the World in the next 2 years!
“At Edunguru, we are
not just your superficial
partners, but Partners
throughout the students’
Educational Journey”
Romie Dutt
CEO, Edunguru
“The roadmap is crystal clear which aims to keep creating
awareness, improving the product and helping more and more
students to learn”

Women are now excelling in all fields of business and life.
They are proving themselves at every step of the way.
Naina Jain, a science graduate from IILM, University of
Bradford, has proved that whatever women put their
minds to, they can excel in. She became the Additional
Secretary of MD International School, Bijnor at an excep-
tionally young age of twenty four. In her year-long tenure
at school, she has skillfully implemented the vision of MD
International. Her contribution to the growth and devel-
opment of the school has been immense. She helped to
broaden its vision as well as modernize the infrastructure
with her innovative mindset.
A Look at the School
MD International is a dream come true for many parents
at Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. It is the brainchild of Mr. S.K.
Jain, a well-known industrialist-turned-philanthropist,
and the head of a renowned business group. The flag-
ships of his business group include Mohit Paper Mills Ltd.
and Jain Distillery. The school is dedicated to his late wife
Mrs. Manorma Devi. It is functioning under the aegis of
Manorma Devi Memorial Charitable Trust.
It has been a long cherished desire of the people of Bijnor
to have a complete school that can provide a matching
environment to compete with the big town institutions of
Delhi and Dehradun. MDIS is fulfilling the dreams of the
people of Bijnor, and is all set to stand up to their expec-
tations.
The school is ranked Bijnor’s number one co-ed day school
in the EW India School Rankings 2018-19. This K-12 school
is CBSE-affiliated and has 2,982 students and 105 teach-
ers on its muster rolls. Infrastructure facilities include
smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, dance, art and craft
rooms, indoor gymnasium, multipurpose ground and
electromagnetic shooting range.
Over the past decade, there have been a number of chang-
es in the education space that have revamped the land-
scape of the industry.
“There are presumptions that you live off yours
family’s reputation, but the most important part
is you are there. I am more than willing to put in
the work to create my own space and also it’s
important to have reality check on your own ca-
pabilities as they help to grow and learn.”

IMPARTING A VISIONARY EDUCATION
Kriti Anand | Business Connect
Institutions are making lots of efforts to customize the
students’ experiences and are changing their processes to
become more student-centric. This trend is bound to in-
crease manifold in the future as academic structures, pro-
cesses, and institutions are set to be further transformed
by emerging technologies.
But now most parents want children to have the best pos-
sible global education with greater exposure, something
that they may not have been able to get themselves.
MD International is providing all this to students and their
concerned parents. Within five years of its establishment,
MDIS has attained its full capacity of students of around
3000. Moreover, the school has received many awards
and recognitions for its pursuit of academic, co-curricu-
lar and sports education excellence from several organi-
zations including the British Council, Education World,
Education today, Brainfeed, AKS, Asia One and so on.
Her Journey as a Woman
As a woman, Naina has her own views about the struggles
women have to face in man’s world, and how to overcome
them. She reiterates how most of the businesswomen who
have attended networking events can relate to this sce-
nario: you walk into a crowded seminar and can count
the number of women present there on one hand. Naina
believes that remaining true to yourself and finding your
own voice are the keys to rising above preconceived ex-
pectations. Women should never confer to a man’s idea of
what a leader should look like. She states that, “There are
presumptions that you live off yours family’s reputation,
but the most important part is you are there. I am more
than willing to put in the work to create my own space
and also it’s important to have reality check on your own
capabilities as they help to grow and learn.”
It is now clear that women have equal capabilities to at-
tempt and to work, but the culture and society have sup-
pressed women and bound them to domesticity. However,
times are changing, and men and women now cooperate
in various areas of life. Progress and career achieved by
women are not given to them on the basis of sympathy;
it is a matter of struggle, and added to it is the struggle
against gender discrimination or distinction. Having a ca-
reer encourages women to have strong wills and a differ-
ent focus, which were not a demand for women earlier.
Burden and responsibility of a female leader or other ca-
reer women are huge. Women usually not only have a ca-
reer, but also the responsibility to be a housewife at home.
Such responsibility, indeed, is not imposed upon men.
Naina has been recognized for her efforts to bring about
a change in the social and educational system at a young
age. She was awarded the Best Young Director of the Year
Award (Below 40 years) by GECL, and the Most Promis-
ing Young Woman Award for Excellence in Women En-
trepreneur category by Global Leader Foundation in 2018.
Futuristic Ideas for the Future of the Education System
Naina’s familiarity with relevant technological de-
velopment has brought to the MD International School
development and modernization.
Artificial Intelligence and robotic process automation are
capable of speeding up production, ensuring better qual-
ity control and, ultimately, increasing company revenues
by many hundred percent. Internet and AI are already
familiar to most of us. But the future will take them even
farther.
She states that Cloud Storage can be used to store data
and use the built-in data labelling service to label our
training data by applying classification, object detection,
and entity extraction, etc., for images, videos, audio, and
text. The labelled data can also be imported to AutoML
and used to train a model directly.
DevOps and agile development, new-generation process-
es and techniques that work hand in hand in developing,
testing and distributing software of all types, have been
in the IT business news continually for about the last
half-dozen years. It’ll become harder to ignore the data-
base. It’s not static and it can’t be done some of the time.
The whole purpose is to change and evolve over time.
DevOps is about identifying friction that is slowing down
software.
Her recommendation is to start with completely under-
standing what the application needs to achieve for the
business: future education system will be unleashed with
the advent of a standardized rapid courseware-builder
and a single point global distribution system. Technolo-
gy can often be a barrier to teaching and learning. Naina
believes that Cloud will go a long way in removing this
barrier, and that the future of technology in education is
Cloud.

lover and romantic muse for honeymoon couples. The place is

Open the door to new opportunities
with Ken Institute of Executive Learning
E
HS administrations and guidelines are
crucial because they allow companies to
do business in an ecologically friendly
manner. Many businesses, such as heavy man-
ufacturing, provide important goods while also
affecting the quality of the air, water, and land
near industrial sites. It is vital for companies and
institutions to assess and comply with the many
environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Awareness of occupational safety, environmen-
tal protection, and health protection are required
to complete these duties. Qualified personnel are
required for this.
Ken Institute of Executive Learning is an emerg-
ing Health, Safety, and Environment education

MEET THE FOUNDER WHO IS MAKING A HUGE
IMPACT
Ms. Priyanka Gupta, Founder & CEO of KEN Institute of Exec-
utive Learning is from Amravati which is a small town in Ma-
harashtra. She happily grew up in a joint family of 19 members
living under one roof. She believes that a joint family teach-
es you some of the most precious life lessons. She asserts that
while growing up, one of the things she mastered was “man-
agement”. As she grew up, she combined her management
skills with her dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.
“ I cannot think of a better social cause than “Educating a
Society and working for accidents/incidents free world”, says
Priyanka. This led me towards the foundation of “Ken Insti-
tute” she shares.
HERE’S WHAT KEN INSTITUTE OF EXECUTIVE
LEARNING IS DOING TO BECOME MORE IN-
DUSTRY FOCUSSED IN 2021.
Ken Institute of Executive Learning offers courses that dig into
the most recent developments and know-how in the fields of
environmental engineering and potentially dangerous waste
disposal systems. The employees taking these courses have
a thorough awareness of general safety standards and proce-
dures, as well as the most recent information on health and
safety problems related to work settings.
The program’s key strengths include engaging material, world-
class trainers, 24/7 learner assistance, industrial alliances, a
digital platform, and joint certification opportunities.
“ Cooperative group learning and problem-solving routines,
case studies, mentor-mentee concepts, open discussion forum,
and knowledge sharing forum are the parts of our weekly learn-
ing cycle.” adds the founder.
Every week, Ken Institute hosts interactive webinars in which
students from many countries and cultures gather in one vir-
tual classroom to communicate and learn about predetermined
themes under the leadership of teachers. The major aspects that
interest learners include pictorial presentations, demonstrative
films, PPT’s, and quizzes. Post live webinars to gain access to
weekly learning gamification, closed-ended quizzes, digital
projects, and discussion forums are some of the virtual tools
that keep students active and interested throughout the week.
Learners may self-regulate their learning with the support of a
24/7 accessible LMS (Learning Management System).
UNLOCKING EXCELLENCE
Ken Institute’s efforts in the environment, health, and safety
have generated international attention. The following acco-
lades show that Ken Institute’s quality has been recognized by
the outside world.
The most significant success of Ken Institute is that in less than
two years, they have certified participants from more than 36
nationals coming from 43 different countries, with a service
satisfaction score of 98 percent, demonstrating the worldwide
worth of Indian education.
In such a short period, the team has acquired institution-
al membership from the British Safety Council (BSC),
the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents – UK
(RoSPA), the Institute of Engineers India (IEI), and the
National Safety Council of India (NSCI).
Ken Institute has won the Indian Achievers Forum
award for “Best Health & Safety Education Institute” for
the past two years (2020 and 2021). Ken Institute has also
been named by CEO Insight as a “Top E-Learning Start-
up in India.”
Ken Institute is the first private institute that has signed
a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Na-
tional Safety Council of India (NSCI) to serve as an inter-
national branding and marketing partner for the course
“Certified Safety Champions.” The National Safety
Commission of India (NSCI) was established on March
4, 1966, by the Ministry of Labour of the Government of
India (GOI).
With IOSH-MCS, they have also opened their first In-
ternational Admission Center in Liberia in August 2021.
CONCLUSION
EHS is more vital than ever. There is a global awareness
of the need to decrease corporate environmental foot-
prints, sensitivity to workers’ rights, and an emphasis
on healthy work conditions. With so many regulatory
changes each year, working professionals must keep up
to date on changes that influence their job requirements
and the EHS performance of their firm.

Education
Covid-19 has driven higher education toward a hybrid paradigm of teaching and learning, the same way,
just as it has revolutionized our working environment. According to the report by PwC India as well as the
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), both teachers and students have a strong preference for blended
learning, which combines physical as well as virtual learning through classrooms and online platforms.
Higher Education
Being Pushed Towards A Hybrid Model Of
Teaching & Learning
The analysis, which was titled “Re-Envisioning higher education through digital adoption”, is based on a
research of management, staff, and students performed in the second half of 2020 at over 50 central, state, and
private higher education institutions to assess the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak.
It demonstrates that during the outbreak, online degrees and certification courses are gaining acceptance
among these institutions. According to the survey, 89% of institutes have integrated technology solutions,
however, 64% of management has had difficulty integrating digital technologies.
Institutes have been in difficulty as a result of the pandemic’s exceptional interruption of normal operations
since its inception early last year. According to the survey, one out of every four institutes postponed regular
fee collection to address the financial impact, and one out of every three institutes curtailed capital investment.
50
www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA
A 43 percent of higher education institutions undertake online admission tests, with 26% using digital promotion as
an entrance method, indicating a substantial shift toward digitalization. Apart from the shortage of a one-stop digital
solution for all tasks and the struggle for faculties to keep students involved and motivated, connectivity concerns — only
42% of urban households have an internet connection — are regarded as the main hindrance in the digital journey of the
universities.
According to the report, 58 percent of students want to take certification classes, while 35 percent want to take degree
courses. Sixty percent of students said they would consider pursuing a supplementary online degree from a different college
in addition to their present one. Fifty-three percent of students are interested in taking an online course through a hybrid or
university-owned platform.
As per the study, blended learning is the most successful for 46 percent of professors. While 62 percent of respondents said
moving to an online model was difficult, 83 percent believe learners can quickly absorb topics online. Students have the
majority of the prerequisites for online learning, and 96% are happy with the current online course delivery.
According to the study, the institutes’
management is actively seeking partnerships
with edtech companies.
It also states that 82 percent of professors support the National
Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which prioritizes tech-enabled
learning, and that 58 percent of institute administrations are
ready to execute policy reforms.
Technology adoption had been occurring previously, but the
outbreak has hastened it, according to Ashok Varma, leader,
social sector development, PwC.
“The hybrid model that has formed is intriguing. Because no
offline classes were held during the lockdowns, this is primarily
the result. We didn’t foresee such a dramatic shift, but the
preference for a hybrid, blended model is evident. Over 85
percent of management replies indicate a desire to pursue holistic
IT solutions,” he says.
Over 47% of faculty respondents agree that online education is the
way of the future. As a result of this shift, physical infrastructure
and facilities can no longer be the primary criteria for students
selecting a college.
“Softer attributes of an institute, such as placement history,
diversity of course curricula, and competent and experienced
professors, will be more appropriate now,” Varma adds.

F
or boosting a child’s individuality and intellect,
an academic education has a pivotal role to play.
It depends on school to school how they are im-
parting the knowledge and information to the
students. If they are rendering via traditional and con-
ventional methods, then a paramount shift or change is
required for updating their processes.
With a significant advancement in the digital technology,
an education system has undergone a radical transforma-
tion. This incites schools and other educational institutes
to encourage the electronic learning.
To eradicate the convolutions whilst studying, and also
offering an impeccable support to the students, beaucoup
of E-Learning Solution Providers are oozing out in the ed-
ucational domain so that the students can take manifold
benefits of e-learning. Following the same notion, my-
CBSEguide serves as one of the best E-Learning Solution
Providers to the CBSE students.
myCBSEguide
Rendering a Valuable and Phenomenal E-Learning Support to the CBSE Students
Basant Pandey
Founder CEO
myCBSEguide offers complete study support to the
CBSE students and evaluation tools to teachers. It pro-
vides e-learning solutions to K-12 students in the form
of downloadable PDFs, online tests, practice sets, videos
and homework help. It is one of the most trusted websites
among CBSE students and teachers.
It is a complete guide for CBSE students coving all major
subjects from class 3 to class 12. It provides sample pa-
pers, test papers, worksheets, text-book solutions, notes,
previous year papers, online tests, videos and homework
help to K-12 segment. It provides assessment tools for
schools and coaching institutes too. It also provides on-
line platform where students can put up their queries
that can be responded by any available teacher from their
wide network of teachers on the platform.
Consumer awareness and basic infrastructure are the
two prominent factors for the growth and expansion of
the company. myCBSEguide provides solutions to make
life easier for teachers and students. Basant, Founder and
CEO, of myCBSEguide says, “We have only grown over
the years to today at 7 million registered users organically
without any marketing spend. It speaks volumes about
the trust that we enjoy with the student community”.
Research and Development activities are quite essential
as it embodies the overall process leading to innovation.
“Tech innovation has to be way of life, no choice else you
will be disrupted by someone else. You have to be dif-
ferent, innovative and quick to adopt the changes.” Says
Vinod Pandey co-founder and CTO of myCBSEguide.
CROSSES IN THE EXCURSION
Without the convolutions and obscurities, there cannot
be a notable growth of the company or an individual.
There were a number of obstacles, the company had gone
through during the initial days of commencement.
The siblings, Basant and Vinod started myCBSEguide in
the year 2007 to help school students located in a remote
place in India (A N Islands). The biggest challenge early
days was to bring students online as most of them were
depended on some offline guides and notes prepared in
the classroom. Internet ecosystem was not evolved and
In fact, India’s e-learning market is the second largest af-
ter the US which is forecasted to grow by 15.64 percent
and is going to exceed $48 billion by 2020.
E-learning is versatile segment consisting of a number of
components. Their core area is assessment of learning.
They are the only online platform that is specifically de-
signed for CBSE students. The assessment tools that they
provide, are based on CBSE question paper pattern and
marking scheme. Whereas, other players have common
learning videos and tutoring services.
Government is promoting e-learning in schools and other
educational institutes. KVS is providing tabs loaded with
e-content to every student in their schools and building
classrooms with smartboards and technical labs. Delhi
government is also providing tabs to teachers and plan-
ning to distribute tablets to every student in the school.
Henceforth, government is taking impressive initiatives
to create an ecosystem for eLearning service providers.
Undoubtedly, there is a fierce competition in the respec-
tive sphere. Many new players are entering into e-learn-
ing space. Some offline players are also trying to expand
in e-learning segment. The competition is tough, but the
opportunity is big for multiple players in the market.
GREAT ASPIRATIONS
There are great plans for future, the company has made in
order to touch the heights of success. They are planning
to launch Test Generator dashboard for teachers, schools
and coaching centers. This will help them to create on-
line quiz and conduct online tests for their students along
with offline pen-paper tests.
Homework help section is very popular among the stu-
dents in the app. They are going to implement AI and
ML tools to make it more attractive and user’s friendly.
They are preparing online test series for entrance and
competitive exams such
as JEE (main), NEET-UG,
CLAT, SSC CGL, Bank
PO etc. and launching it
soon.
As far as contribution
to the Society is con-
cerned, their focus was
to develop the product
for the students and
the teachers. They are
now planning to vis-
it government schools
for helping underpriv-
ileged students by pro-
viding them free study
material, and encourage
them for e-learning.
students didn’t have devices to access internet. Times
have changed dramatically over the years. With 500M in-
ternet users today, reach has become relatively easier.
As the project was initially started for the students within
school, they helped the school students access the website
in school computer lab with internet connection. Gradual-
ly, other schools also opted the same strategy.
India is a well spread out country and the quality of
school education is not same across India. There is short-
age of quality teachers in many small cities and towns.

This approach allows students to dive into Business Education with the latest information, trends, and insights into corporate disruptions. These methods are a part of the holistic approach adopted by the Business School, encompassing teaching, training, research, and consulting. The holistic nature of the Business School implies that new knowledge generated through these avenues is reinvested into teaching, benefiting the student community. Furthermore, industry- related research plays a crucial role, with its findings contributing to the development of the academic curriculum and enhancing the learning experience for students. Thought Curriculum To keep the curriculum updated according to industry needs, Dr. Metri elucidated that the Institution conducts a comprehensive review of its curriculum every two to three years. Within the past two years, a complete overhaul of the curriculum has been executed. This process involves 16 corporate leaders from various sectors collaborating with the faculty curriculum review committee in devising a new MBA curriculum. Core courses were refined during these meetings, and elective courses were identified. The curriculum revision was aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, reflecting the Institution’s commitment to staying current with the educational reforms. Simultaneously, the curriculum has been customized to remain relevant to the industry trends and disruptions, reflecting a dual objective of aligning with NEP guidelines and adding value to the rapidly changing corporate landscape. New courses have been introduced to address emerging needs. Courses like ‘Indian Ethos & Business Ethics’ and ‘Corporate Governance, CSR & Sustainability’ emphasize ethics and sustainability in business practices. • 9. 17 16 www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA Arnold Schwarzenegger’s When we look around, we see success stories of many people which motivates us to work hard despite the challenges and turbulences in the journey towards success. One such inspirational tale lies in the life of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Born on 30th July 1947 in Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger started his career from scratch with a not-so-adorable childhood. Nothing could stop the dedicated person in Arnold, not even his family tragedies. The best action hero of all time has faced challenges in nearly every step of his life, but he believed in himself and climbed the ladder of success. With a phenomenal career, Arnold Schwarzenegger is acclaimed to be the most popular personality alive. Alongside being the best action movie star, Arnold is undoubtedly the most recognized and famous bodybuilder. In his entire childhood, Arnold faced a conflicting relationship with his father under the suspicion of Arnold not being the biological son of Gustav Schwarzenegger, and due to this, he was neglected over his elder brother. Inspired by his father, Arnold pushed himself towards sports from a young age and deep-dived into weight lifting and bodybuilding, and it soon turned into his passion. For the same, Arnold’s mother remained sceptic and thought his son was ill when she saw the pictures of male body builders in his room, for which she even called the doctors. At age 18, Arnold served his compulsory Austrian Army’s one-year service as a tank driver where he was put in a military prison under the charges of insubordination for participating in the Junior Mr. Europe competition. Interestingly, Arnold Schwarzenegger purchased the tank he drove after he became successful. What we face may look insurmountable, but what I learned is that we are always stronger than we know. Inspirational Life Story BUILDING YEARS Genuinely speaking, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s age was never a barrier for him to excel in his career. However, he has achieved remarkable milestones at a very young age. Here, one of them is the Mr. Universe competition which he won at his second attempt in 1967 just at the age of 20, making him the youngest person ever to win the competition. After that, he won the same competition thrice. Hereafter, Arnold Schwarzenegger moved to Munich in Germany and attended a business school. There he spelt one of his coaches “I’m going to become the greatest actor”, and the amount of confidence Arnold carried can be seen in the sentence mentioned above. Arnold considered America to be the land of opportunity, and he got the ticket to move to the USA with his Mr. Universe trophy. As soon as he moved to the city of prospects, he left his Austrian accent. • TRAGEDY In 1971, Arnold’s brother, Meinhard, died in a traffic accident, and a year and a half later, Arnold Schwarzenegger lost his father too. Despite possessing a good relationship with brother Meinhard, he did not attend his funeral with the fear of having to face his father with whom he didn’t carry a good relation. • POPULARITY THROUGH MOVIES The evergreen actor’s desire to embark upon the journey of acting was realized after he was cast in Hercules in New Yorkin 1969. He got increasing fame with the 1977 movie name Pumping Iron. Things came to his favour since his 1982 movie role in Conan the Barbarian, after which he was up for the lead position in the sequel Conan the Destroyer. In the same year, Arnold Schwarzenegger played his most famous role of The Terminator. This movie solidified his image as an action hero alongside the popular actor Sylvester Stallone. • PERSONAL LIFE In 1986, Arnold married Maria Shriver of the Kennedy family and lived in Brentwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles in California. Both Arnold and Maria gave birth to four children named Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher, and in 2011 the couple shockingly opted for separation. Years later, it was discovered that Arnold had another child out of wed lock with the family maid who was born days after Christopher’s birth. Regretting the incident, Arnold said “As inspirational as I am for my accomplishments, my mistakes should also serve as a warning” because this led to family pain and splitting up of the whole family. Today, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s bodybuilding books, his life struggles, and achievements are a great source of motivation and inspiration for everyone.

Since its founding in 1949, the university has shown a strong interest in and dedication to the maintenance and promotion of an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of academic achievement. This dedication is a part of the institution’s rich legacy. One of the earliest academic institutions in Western India, the “Baroda College,” was established in 1881 by His Highness Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. It served as a precursor to Maharaja Sayajirao University and contributed to its founding legacy. In 1909, the enlightened ruler established the “Kala Bhavan”. The Legislative Assembly passed the bill to establish the university, and the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda came into existence on April 30, 1949. It is a State University with English as its medium of instruction and is a premier unitary residential University. AREA OF EXPANSION The university has 16 Hostels (12 boys and 4 girls), a health center, a sports field, a convocation field, a press and stationery unit, a guest house, and other academic and administrative buildings. In addition, there are a number of lecture halls and conference rooms, an amphitheater, a play box, an art gallery, an arboretum, a botanical garden, eight well-equipped seminar halls, nine multipurpose auditoriums, and two open-air theaters. A variety of artifacts, including terracotta Buddha statues, sacred relics of Lord Buddha, Toraman, and Harappan unicorn seals, may be found in the Archaeological Museum on campus. The University’s Student Facilitation Center offers information on admissions, programs, applications, the creation of examination forms and hall tickets, results, counseling, and queries relating to students’ academic careers. The university has established a center for student support, where students can go for one-stop service for all of their academic and research needs. The Office of Career Advancement for Students handles counseling, training, and placement, as well as teaching soft skills and working with organizations to organise placement drives. The majority of faculties have a placement rate of 100 percent. The general trend, both on and off campus, is a placement rate of 65% on average. Students from sections with lower economies get scholarships from the Directorate of Students’ Welfare. STUDENT FACILITATION CENTER A start-up center and incubator have been established on campus to promote creativity and give young people a place to explore and put new ideas into practice before turning them into start-up businesses. Prerna, Paramarsh, Footprints, BBA Baazigar, Cyberia, Yuvaantas, and Kaafila are a few examples of academic, social, and technical events that are solely planned and run by students. They are now well-known and well-liked not only in the state but also nationwide. The university’s office of alumni affairs also gathers data on various alumni associations, plans monthly interaction sessions in various departments, plans reunions, compiles information on notable alumni, and aids in alumni registration. • 19. 37 36 www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA Sunglasses are the ultimate fashion accessory, almost worn by everyone, and without them most wouldn’t leave home. When the sun is glaring off the town and you pick your sunglasses out of your back, once you lip them on, you instantly change your appearance. Supreme Fashion Accessory Reasons Why Sunglasses Acts More Than Just An Accessory It’s no longer a medical necessity, just a style need. The dreary vision-correcting computer machine revamped surprisingly into a cool and swanky faddish accessory. The rage is so strong that, just for the sake of fashion even people with perfect vision wear lenses. Here are some reasons why, before you head out the door, you’ll want to catch those shades: PROTECT EYES FROM UV RAYS One of the most significant advantages of wearing sunglasses is that they shield the eyes from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet radiation and the fragile skin around them. Exposure to UV can lead to cataracts and cause glaucoma symptoms worse. Moreover, about to 10 per cent of skin cancers are found near the eyes. Choose glasses that cover the eyes entirely and make sure that they have 100 per cent UVA and UVB protection. PROTECT EYES FROM GLARE Sunglasses not only let you see better when it’s light outside, but they also decrease the amount you need to squint by the cutting back on the sun. Squinting will lead to headaches, exhaustion and eye pressure, as well as the formation over time of fine lines in the skin around the eyes. When you squint, it’s also difficult to see clearly, which can lead to injuries, particularly when driving. Maximum glare safety is offered by polarized sunglasses. DARK ADAPTATION After you are exposed to intense sunshine, sunglasses allow you to refocus your vision. If you will not adapt for long stretches after being exposed to the sun, your night vision may be impaired. You’ll find it hard to see the road while you are riding at night. Riding becomes risky when you haven’t been wearing shades. RAY-BAN A debut back in the 1930s, the Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses made their airline flights more popular, and the legends of the era were pilots. The Italian-based company offer polarised lenses to shield the eyes from sunlight. In the 1980s, with the release of films such as “Top Gun” and “Risky Business,” these glasses gained attention. MAUI JIM In the early 1980s, Maui Jim sunglasses made their debut at a hotel pool in Maui, Hawaii. By 1988, the mainland was just starting to see them. This sunglasses are built for males and females alike. Many of the models have polarised lenses of varying colours that shield against the sunshine glare. VERSACE In 1978 Versace was started, this Italian fashion house made its debut in Milan, Italy. Versace sunglasses are known for their ornate, female-centred logo, and their wrap around and aviator styles are common. Much of the lenses are polarised to shield the eyes. Some women’s styles involve ornate and lavish details. Some Top Sunglasses Brands Fashion

In the present scenario, this amalgamation is of the utmost need for imparting quality education to students. Gone are the days, when children were wholly dependent on the tradi- tional methods of teaching in the classroom. In the era of In- ternet, the educational domain has undergone a sea- change and a radical transformation. A number of e-learning service providers have created a canopy to help students in shap- ing a better future. One of them is Edunguru. Edunguru has brought an incredible revolution with its exemplary e-learn- ing services. The organization is led by Romie Dutt, the Chief Executive Officer of this exceptional organization. INSIGHTS OF ITS OFFERINGS Edunguru envisions offering excellent quality education to students across the nation. The purpose of this organization is achieved with the help of a competent Governing Council, who represents the elite from the education industry. Edun- guru has more than five hundred qualified, experienced and effective teachers in their Academic Excellence Board, and a group of toppers of various competitive exams in their Stu- dent Advisory Board. The organization has developed a be- hemoth of offerings in the educational arena; it offers three thousand and three hundred forty Courses, which includes K12 Level (CBSE plus ten Hindi Speaking State boards), Gov- ernment Exams such as Banking, Railways, SSC, UPSC Civil Services, etc. Management Exams, Medical, Engineering and various other competitive Examinations via online medium such as the web portal and mobile applications, and offline (USBs /Hard drives) modes in two languages like Hindi and English, to reach up to 3 tier cities in India. The organiza- tion also provides Spoken English programs, to leverage the communication skills of students. The Company’s prime focus is to leverage the standards of education in the nation; hence, it uses dynamic and advanced methodologies to offer education. To make learning easy, understandable and enjoyable for the students, the core team of Edunguru has deeply analyzed the entire curriculum, and picked up the quintessential Learning Objectives for the stu- dents. The faculty delivers lectures through Concept Based Methods. Each lecture is predefined with Interactive Class Sessions, Animations, Live Demonstrations, Diagrams, and Illustrations to enrich the learning experience. For adding the element of interactivity in the class, Edunguru has added questions and answers for the students. This helps in making the concepts clearer and provides an opportunity to self-evaluate. The Student’s foray into e-learning commences with an excellently explained video on a particular concept by the expert teacher in his or her domain, followed by Multiple Choice Questions to check whether the student has under- stood the concept along with Tutor Authored eBooks which consist of notes based on Video Lectures, Practice and Mock test papers for the students. Edunguru also assists each student with a host of services such as a telephone Call or a Video Call with the Teacher, privately or in a group, Live Webinar Sessions, EDUCHAT ROOMS with peers in the city, State or even at the National level, and a few more to be introduced soon such as Physical Doubt Clearing Classes by Visiting Faculties. PROMINENT REASON BEHIND THE ESTABLISHMENT The founder of Edunguru has a noble vision behind the es- tablishment of this unbeatable organization. It is an unfor- tunate, but true fact that children in India are not attaining quality education due to a multitude of reasons. India has the largest and youngest population in the world with peo- ple between sixteen to forty years of age, and this group is capable of bringing about a positive and great change. The exemplar of a great vision states, “We have schools, colleg- es now in every state, but we can still see that a significant part of our population is not even getting the deserved basic education.” There were numerous reasons to establish Edunguru, like lack of School Infrastructure, Financial Challenges, Safety and Security of Children, but the foremost was the ‘Quality Of Education.’ To spread the dimensions of Edunguru to the Grass Root Level of Society, Romie Dutt envisaged the company. THE ROADBLOCKS The company underwent a host of obstacles in pedagogy, content and deliverables, but the greatest of them was select- ing expert faculties and teachers for the Video Shoot, who had a clear understanding of their subject, especially the concepts, their delivery methods, approach, and above all, ensuring that they had a neutral accent, which could easily be understood by students in India. EDUNGURU : Rendering Quality Education Through A Digital Platform Moreover, training and enabling the faculties’ video shoot with no prior shooting experience, was a major challenge. Gradu- ally, the company coped with all the challenges, and emerged as one of the best organizations in the genre. GOVERNMENT’S ROLE The government has successfully launched several programs under the initiatives such as ‘Digital India’ and ‘Skill India’ to spread digital literacy, create a knowledge-based society in India, and implement three principles ‘access, equity and quality’ of the Education Policy. The programs are: • e-Basta: provides school books in digital form • e-Education: all schools are connected with broadband and free Wi-Fi, and support MOOCs which is Massive Online Open Courses. • Nand Ghars: digital tools as teaching aids • SWAYAM: MOOCs based on curriculum taught in classrooms from ninth standard till post-graduation. • India Skills Online: learning portal for skill training. • In order to establish digital infrastructure, the government has also launched National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN), which aims to expand broadband connectivity and faster network. The Indian government has pioneered this vertical, and is constantly supporting the e-learning domain. It is very encouraging to know that the Indian government is very interested in developing this vertical. ASTOUNDING MILESTONES AND FUTURE PLANS Since the company’s inception, it has carved its name in the list of some amazing and incredible achievements. It has more than forty thousand registrations, more than sixteen thousand paid users, eighty thousand plus mobile application down- loads, more than twelve thousand Facebook likes, eight thousand plus Organic You tube Subscribers, etc. All these triumphs were achieved within the last nine months, and the best part is that all this happened without even a proper Pan India Launch or any advertising. Edunguru, in its first phase, has covered the ten states such as Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Delhi NCR. In addition, it had spread its dimensions to states like Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Odisha, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Chandigarh, Goa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Nagaland. With India’s Biggest Employer, as their Strategic Sales and Marketing Partner, with a more than 3,00,000 Sales force, it is quite natural that by the end of 2019, EDUNGURU sees itself as the Leading Digital Education Provider in India, and who knows, The Leading in the World in the next 2 years! “At Edunguru, we are not just your superficial partners, but Partners throughout the students’ Educational Journey” Romie Dutt CEO, Edunguru “The roadmap is crystal clear which aims to keep creating awareness, improving the product and helping more and more students to learn” ~Romie Dutt Kajal Dobhal | Business Connect

  • 22. 43 42 www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA Women are now excelling in all fields of business and life. They are proving themselves at every step of the way. Naina Jain, a science graduate from IILM, University of Bradford, has proved that whatever women put their minds to, they can excel in. She became the Additional Secretary of MD International School, Bijnor at an excep- tionally young age of twenty four. In her year-long tenure at school, she has skillfully implemented the vision of MD International. Her contribution to the growth and devel- opment of the school has been immense. She helped to broaden its vision as well as modernize the infrastructure with her innovative mindset. A Look at the School MD International is a dream come true for many parents at Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. It is the brainchild of Mr. S.K. Jain, a well-known industrialist-turned-philanthropist, and the head of a renowned business group. The flag- ships of his business group include Mohit Paper Mills Ltd. and Jain Distillery. The school is dedicated to his late wife Mrs. Manorma Devi. It is functioning under the aegis of Manorma Devi Memorial Charitable Trust. It has been a long cherished desire of the people of Bijnor to have a complete school that can provide a matching environment to compete with the big town institutions of Delhi and Dehradun. MDIS is fulfilling the dreams of the people of Bijnor, and is all set to stand up to their expec- tations. The school is ranked Bijnor’s number one co-ed day school in the EW India School Rankings 2018-19. This K-12 school is CBSE-affiliated and has 2,982 students and 105 teach- ers on its muster rolls. Infrastructure facilities include smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, dance, art and craft rooms, indoor gymnasium, multipurpose ground and electromagnetic shooting range. Over the past decade, there have been a number of chang- es in the education space that have revamped the land- scape of the industry. “There are presumptions that you live off yours family’s reputation, but the most important part is you are there. I am more than willing to put in the work to create my own space and also it’s important to have reality check on your own ca- pabilities as they help to grow and learn.” Naina Jain Additional Secretary M D International School, Bijnor IMPARTING A VISIONARY EDUCATION Kriti Anand | Business Connect Institutions are making lots of efforts to customize the students’ experiences and are changing their processes to become more student-centric. This trend is bound to in- crease manifold in the future as academic structures, pro- cesses, and institutions are set to be further transformed by emerging technologies. But now most parents want children to have the best pos- sible global education with greater exposure, something that they may not have been able to get themselves. MD International is providing all this to students and their concerned parents. Within five years of its establishment, MDIS has attained its full capacity of students of around 3000. Moreover, the school has received many awards and recognitions for its pursuit of academic, co-curricu- lar and sports education excellence from several organi- zations including the British Council, Education World, Education today, Brainfeed, AKS, Asia One and so on. Her Journey as a Woman As a woman, Naina has her own views about the struggles women have to face in man’s world, and how to overcome them. She reiterates how most of the businesswomen who have attended networking events can relate to this sce- nario: you walk into a crowded seminar and can count the number of women present there on one hand. Naina believes that remaining true to yourself and finding your own voice are the keys to rising above preconceived ex- pectations. Women should never confer to a man’s idea of what a leader should look like. She states that, “There are presumptions that you live off yours family’s reputation, but the most important part is you are there. I am more than willing to put in the work to create my own space and also it’s important to have reality check on your own capabilities as they help to grow and learn.” It is now clear that women have equal capabilities to at- tempt and to work, but the culture and society have sup- pressed women and bound them to domesticity. However, times are changing, and men and women now cooperate in various areas of life. Progress and career achieved by women are not given to them on the basis of sympathy; it is a matter of struggle, and added to it is the struggle against gender discrimination or distinction. Having a ca- reer encourages women to have strong wills and a differ- ent focus, which were not a demand for women earlier. Burden and responsibility of a female leader or other ca- reer women are huge. Women usually not only have a ca- reer, but also the responsibility to be a housewife at home. Such responsibility, indeed, is not imposed upon men. Naina has been recognized for her efforts to bring about a change in the social and educational system at a young age. She was awarded the Best Young Director of the Year Award (Below 40 years) by GECL, and the Most Promis- ing Young Woman Award for Excellence in Women En- trepreneur category by Global Leader Foundation in 2018. Futuristic Ideas for the Future of the Education System Naina’s familiarity with relevant technological de- velopment has brought to the MD International School development and modernization. Artificial Intelligence and robotic process automation are capable of speeding up production, ensuring better qual- ity control and, ultimately, increasing company revenues by many hundred percent. Internet and AI are already familiar to most of us. But the future will take them even farther. She states that Cloud Storage can be used to store data and use the built-in data labelling service to label our training data by applying classification, object detection, and entity extraction, etc., for images, videos, audio, and text. The labelled data can also be imported to AutoML and used to train a model directly. DevOps and agile development, new-generation process- es and techniques that work hand in hand in developing, testing and distributing software of all types, have been in the IT business news continually for about the last half-dozen years. It’ll become harder to ignore the data- base. It’s not static and it can’t be done some of the time. The whole purpose is to change and evolve over time. DevOps is about identifying friction that is slowing down software. Her recommendation is to start with completely under- standing what the application needs to achieve for the business: future education system will be unleashed with the advent of a standardized rapid courseware-builder and a single point global distribution system. Technolo- gy can often be a barrier to teaching and learning. Naina believes that Cloud will go a long way in removing this barrier, and that the future of technology in education is Cloud.

According to the report by PwC India as well as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), both teachers and students have a strong preference for blended learning, which combines physical as well as virtual learning through classrooms and online platforms. Higher Education Being Pushed Towards A Hybrid Model Of Teaching & Learning The analysis, which was titled “Re-Envisioning higher education through digital adoption”, is based on a research of management, staff, and students performed in the second half of 2020 at over 50 central, state, and private higher education institutions to assess the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak. It demonstrates that during the outbreak, online degrees and certification courses are gaining acceptance among these institutions. According to the survey, 89% of institutes have integrated technology solutions, however, 64% of management has had difficulty integrating digital technologies. Institutes have been in difficulty as a result of the pandemic’s exceptional interruption of normal operations since its inception early last year. According to the survey, one out of every four institutes postponed regular fee collection to address the financial impact, and one out of every three institutes curtailed capital investment. 50 www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA A 43 percent of higher education institutions undertake online admission tests, with 26% using digital promotion as an entrance method, indicating a substantial shift toward digitalization. Apart from the shortage of a one-stop digital solution for all tasks and the struggle for faculties to keep students involved and motivated, connectivity concerns — only 42% of urban households have an internet connection — are regarded as the main hindrance in the digital journey of the universities. According to the report, 58 percent of students want to take certification classes, while 35 percent want to take degree courses. Sixty percent of students said they would consider pursuing a supplementary online degree from a different college in addition to their present one. Fifty-three percent of students are interested in taking an online course through a hybrid or university-owned platform. As per the study, blended learning is the most successful for 46 percent of professors. While 62 percent of respondents said moving to an online model was difficult, 83 percent believe learners can quickly absorb topics online. Students have the majority of the prerequisites for online learning, and 96% are happy with the current online course delivery. According to the study, the institutes’ management is actively seeking partnerships with edtech companies. It also states that 82 percent of professors support the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which prioritizes tech-enabled learning, and that 58 percent of institute administrations are ready to execute policy reforms. Technology adoption had been occurring previously, but the outbreak has hastened it, according to Ashok Varma, leader, social sector development, PwC. “The hybrid model that has formed is intriguing. Because no offline classes were held during the lockdowns, this is primarily the result. We didn’t foresee such a dramatic shift, but the preference for a hybrid, blended model is evident. Over 85 percent of management replies indicate a desire to pursue holistic IT solutions,” he says. Over 47% of faculty respondents agree that online education is the way of the future. As a result of this shift, physical infrastructure and facilities can no longer be the primary criteria for students selecting a college. “Softer attributes of an institute, such as placement history, diversity of course curricula, and competent and experienced professors, will be more appropriate now,” Varma adds. 51 www.businessconnectindia.in | Vol. 6 | Special Edition April 2024 INDIA

It depends on school to school how they are im- parting the knowledge and information to the students. If they are rendering via traditional and con- ventional methods, then a paramount shift or change is required for updating their processes. With a significant advancement in the digital technology, an education system has undergone a radical transforma- tion. This incites schools and other educational institutes to encourage the electronic learning. To eradicate the convolutions whilst studying, and also offering an impeccable support to the students, beaucoup of E-Learning Solution Providers are oozing out in the ed- ucational domain so that the students can take manifold benefits of e-learning. Following the same notion, my- CBSEguide serves as one of the best E-Learning Solution Providers to the CBSE students. myCBSEguide Rendering a Valuable and Phenomenal E-Learning Support to the CBSE Students Basant Pandey Founder CEO myCBSEguide offers complete study support to the CBSE students and evaluation tools to teachers. It provides assessment tools for schools and coaching institutes too. It also provides on- line platform where students can put up their queries that can be responded by any available teacher from their wide network of teachers on the platform. Consumer awareness and basic infrastructure are the two prominent factors for the growth and expansion of the company. myCBSEguide provides solutions to make life easier for teachers and students. Basant, Founder and CEO, of myCBSEguide says, “We have only grown over the years to today at 7 million registered users organically without any marketing spend. It speaks volumes about the trust that we enjoy with the student community”. Research and Development activities are quite essential as it embodies the overall process leading to innovation. “Tech innovation has to be way of life, no choice else you will be disrupted by someone else. You have to be dif- ferent, innovative and quick to adopt the changes.” Says Vinod Pandey co-founder and CTO of myCBSEguide. CROSSES IN THE EXCURSION Without the convolutions and obscurities, there cannot be a notable growth of the company or an individual. There were a number of obstacles, the company had gone through during the initial days of commencement. The siblings, Basant and Vinod started myCBSEguide in the year 2007 to help school students located in a remote place in India (A N Islands). The biggest challenge early days was to bring students online as most of them were depended on some offline guides and notes prepared in the classroom. Internet ecosystem was not evolved and In fact, India’s e-learning market is the second largest af- ter the US which is forecasted to grow by 15.64 percent and is going to exceed $48 billion by 2020. E-learning is versatile segment consisting of a number of components. Their core area is assessment of learning. They are the only online platform that is specifically de- signed for CBSE students. The assessment tools that they provide, are based on CBSE question paper pattern and marking scheme. Whereas, other players have common learning videos and tutoring services. Government is promoting e-learning in schools and other educational institutes. KVS is providing tabs loaded with e-content to every student in their schools and building classrooms with smartboards and technical labs. Delhi government is also providing tabs to teachers and plan- ning to distribute tablets to every student in the school. Henceforth, government is taking impressive initiatives to create an ecosystem for eLearning service providers. Undoubtedly, there is a fierce competition in the respec- tive sphere. Many new players are entering into e-learn- ing space. Some offline players are also trying to expand in e-learning segment. The competition is tough, but the opportunity is big for multiple players in the market. GREAT ASPIRATIONS There are great plans for future, the company has made in order to touch the heights of success. They are planning to launch Test Generator dashboard for teachers, schools and coaching centers. This will help them to create on- line quiz and conduct online tests for their students along with offline pen-paper tests. Homework help section is very popular among the stu- dents in the app. They are going to implement AI and ML tools to make it more attractive and user’s friendly. They are preparing online test series for entrance and competitive exams such as JEE (main), NEET-UG, CLAT, SSC CGL, Bank PO etc. and launching it soon. As far as contribution to the Society is con- cerned, their focus was to develop the product for the students and the teachers. They are now planning to vis- it government schools for helping underpriv- ileged students by pro- viding them free study material, and encourage them for e-learning. students didn’t have devices to access internet. Times have changed dramatically over the years. With 500M in- ternet users today, reach has become relatively easier. As the project was initially started for the students within school, they helped the school students access the website in school computer lab with internet connection. Gradual- ly, other schools also opted the same strategy. India is a well spread out country and the quality of school education is not same across India. There is short- age of quality teachers in many small cities and towns. Providing e-learning solutions over the internet helps in reaching out to even remote areas. This was the driving force behind setting up myCBSE guide. “Our focus is to make good quality content available to all the cities across the country” says Manju Magow, VP Head Content Team of myCBSEguide. E-LEARNING PLATFORM According to a latest report, the Indian e-learning market size was USD247 million, and is expected to witness an 8 times growth to reach USD1.96 billion and the current user base will grow at 44 percent CAGR to 9.6 million us- ers by 2021.
