This document introduces the IDSP20C competition, which will feature 11 competitors presenting on their dissertation research via online video conference. Over preliminary stages, competitors submitted abstracts and additional tasks that were scored, creating a leaderboard. The main competition will consist of a competitors' round where all present their research, selecting 6 finalists. Those finalists will then give elevator pitches to select 3 medallists. The competition aims to support postgraduate students and hone their research, presentation, and collaboration skills.
