Nicholas Negroponte was aware of the importance of adapting and being part of those changes and he created the project ‘One laptop per child’. The scheme tries to foster students´ learning to learn and analysing their processes of thinking. In Argentina the project ‘Conectar Igualdad’ attempts to equip state schools with personal computers for each learner and to include them in the management of digital tools.<br />The new program facilitates students’ relationship with technology. Some years ago children did not have the opportunity to work each student in a computer. Scholars had to share them and sometimes not all learners could make use of computers because their number was not in proportion to the number of pupils. With the inclusion of Conectar Igualdad not only learners but also teachers have the chance to explore and learn from technology. They have the possibility to surf the unknown digital world and to discover its advances.<br />The implementation of digital tools helps pupils to be architects of their own learning. The digital field give students the opportunity of constantly exploring and searching for new features. They learn during the lessons and also do it while trying to accomplish tasks and looking for specific information. Besides learners are given the possibility of bringing home their netbooks what means all the members of the family being exposed to digitalization. Through technology and its facilities, teenagers have the chance to take advantage of their learning.<br />Acceleration happens every time more and more quickly and that is an aspect which has to be taken into consideration by everyone. Government, schools, families should be aware of this and take advantage of all the instruments they can work with. We are preparing future citizens of our country and it is our duty to provide them with the necessary tools to face that challenge.<br />
