9. HOW IT WORKS
Your journey will start with a short boat ride to the CAI FORA. The resort lies approx. 2 kms
from the shore, in the crystal-clear waters of our marine conservation area. On arrival at
the resort, along with your boat captain, you will get shown the ins and outs of the Cai
Fora .
We will then leave you alone to enjoy your new surroundings. A kayak, snorkel and fins
will be provided..
You will then check into the room of your choice and spend the rest of your vacation
enjoying the resort.

A tab will be provided with the contact numbers required should you need assistance with
anything. The underwater room security guard will be anchored to a buoy not far off from
the room.
The bathroom facilities include an fresh water shower, a fully-functioning advanced
marine toilet system that is eco-friendly. We will provide all necessary environmentally
friendly, biodegradable shower products.

SNORKELING
Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of
water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing
tube called a snorkel, and usually swim fins. In cooler waters, a
wetsuit may also be worn. Snorkeling is one of the most
experienced activity in the Cai Fora.

UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY
Underwater photography is the process of taking photographs
while under water. It is usually done while scuba diving, but can be
done while diving on surface supply, snorkeling, swimming, from a
submersible or remotely operated underwater vehicle, or from
automated cameras lowered from the surface. Believe it or not
Underwater photography is an activity in itself.

FINSWIMMING
Finswimming is an underwater sport consisting of four
techniques involving swimming with the use of fins either on the
water's surface using a snorkel with either monofins or bifins or
underwater with monofin either by holding one's breath or using
open circuit scuba diving equipment. Finswimming though is an
underwater sport is offered by the resort to encourage people to
participate in healthy competition.

 Our crew’s efforts to provide the highest standard
of comfort and safety is supported by an
integrated monitoring system that is connected to
an international earthquake and weather
warning system.
 Conditions around the resort are monitored by
numerous cameras, which are installed in
appropriate spots, and by remotely operated
underwater vehicles.

49. SAFETY MEASURES
• The aim of the safety and security measures followed by the resort is to reduce the
crime, terrorism, natural disasters and from any man-made hazards. The resort security
covers various aspects like guest room locking, public area security and security of the
system with equipment found in the resort. To maintain an effective safety and security
plan, the Front Office Department should have a regular and continuous co-ordination
with the security department of the resort which results in pleasant stay of the guest
exceeding the expectations thereby fostering the Customer Relationship Management.
• The security of the people encompasses security of resort staff and the most important
security of the guests. Out of these, the security of guests is of prime importance as it
can affect the business. For security of staff measures like effective recruitment
/selection, identification of staff, checking previous records of the staff with previous
employers etc is adopted.

50. SAFETY MEASURES
• Accidents can take place in the resort at any point of time due to faulty stairs, ramps,
balconies and even due to the parking places. The resort should ensure that handrails,
non slip surface should be used while framing the architecture plan for the resort.
• There should always be a Doctor on call available for the resort so that in case if any
guest suffers from any kind of problem, he /she can be given the concern treatment as
soon as possible.
• The resort should design and implement an emergency management plan to deal with
any sort of emergency. According to the plan the resort should train their employees
through mock drills in evacuations to help people in endangered situations. The resort
should build their own strong in-house system to deal or prevent an emergency. There
should be an emergency communication team within the resort having staff from all the
departments acting as emergency communication managers.
