Walking along the country paths visitors will easily
come across beautiful, enormous and very old trees:
THE TREES OF REMEMBRANCE.
In the Bucine territory and in the Valdambra Valley top quality
extra virgin olive oil is produced in an amazing landscape
characterized by the silver olive groove.
Ancient crafts such as the art of broom making live
together with small factories and……….

Because of its position, in the famous
Art Cities triangle-Florence, Arezzo,
Siena- Bucine is choosen by tourists all
over the world for their holidays.
There are a lot of Agriturisms and
Holiday houses where you can spend a
wonderful time in the country
Our school
Bucine Comprehensive Institute consists of four
Infant schools, three Primary schools and three
Secondary schools (scuola media) situated in
Bucine, Ambra and Pergine in the Valdarno area.

Infant school ( not compulsory) . Children from 3 to 6 years old
First instruction cycle (8 years ) divided into :
Primary school (5 years) students from 6 to 11 years old
Secondary school 1st level (College) (duration 3 years) students 11-14
years old
Second cycle instruction (two courses):
• High School 2nd level (5 years) students from 14-19 years old.
( colleges, institutes of techniques and professionals )
• Vocational training regional competence (duration 3 years) after an
compulsory education cycle.
Compulsory education : 10 years duration from 6 to 16 years.
Our school applies innovative didactics which pay
attention to the inclusion of all kinds of students and has
enriched its formative offer with LANGUAGE
