The document describes an iBoard application designed to allow information sharing and feedback at the University of Pittsburgh's iSchool. It had the goals of increasing accessibility, readability, and simplicity of posts while encouraging contribution, sharing, and feedback. The application's functionalities like viewing posts, liking/disliking, sharing, and posting new items are explained. An iterative design process is described based on user research through surveys and interviews. This led to improvements in layout, button labels, and aesthetics. Lessons learned include confirming an interactive digital board is a better solution than current physical boards. Future work could make the application responsive for multiple devices and enable social media sharing.
