Until recently, I had no idea that there was a such thing as a Young Adult Librarian. I had
assumed that teaching would be the only job that would allow me to talk about books and share
my love of books with young adults; but then, one day I happened to stumble upon a blog ran by
someone who was sharing her experience as a Young Adult Librarian
and I knew instantly that I had
found what I wanted to do with my life. At this point, I started looking around for ways to be
