• Use third party newsletter technology to send e-letters and email alerts to a database
  of 850,000

• Ensure the content across the site is timely, accurate, reliable, clearly presented and
  fully discoverable through the implementation of SEO

• Manage the ITV Breakfast output on off-portal sites including social networks such
  as Facebook and Twitter to increase referrals and brand exposure

• Working with third party technology suppliers such as KickApps, Pluck, Digital
  Jigsaw, Poll Daddy and Cover It Live to provide an exceptional interactive toolkit for
  the digital output

• Commissioning bespoke interactive content such as games, picture galleries,
  interactive tests and quizzes and surveys to increase the stickiness of the digital
  content

• Identifying key growth areas and allocating design, development and editorial

GMTV

Video and Social Network Manager

• Wholly responsible for GMTV’s online video offering from technology to output to
  reporting - including KPI targets, budget considerations and revenue reporting

• Highlighted syndication and marketing opportunities to extend the GMTV brand
  off-portal

• Managed design and development resources to deliver varied projects including
  microsites, video players, off-portal sites and site-wide architecture and navigation

• Liaised with programme teams to extend on-air themes to an online environment
  providing value-added content for the GMTV viewer

• Conceived and managed the GMTV Diet Club - a consistent, interactive and
  personalised accompaniment to GMTV’s weight loss strands attracting over 150,000
  sign-ups within two months

• Identified, executed and maintained beneficial syndication partnerships – these
  include YouTube, Bebo, Blinkx, PA, Facebook and MySpace with specific KPIs
  including reach, referrals and revenue

• Oversaw the production of extended-hours content transmitted online immediately
  after broadcast e.g. webcasts, performances, on-location interactive shows etc

• Scoped and established an integrated user generated content service to budget
  and deadline

• Worked closely with interactive sales team to increase total value creation

• Sat on the Compliance Board along with Head of Legal Affairs, Head of New Media
