Netflix will spend six billion dollars this year on content, making the company a major player in Hollywood. An increasing portion of this spend will be on original shows such as House of Cards, and original movies such as Beasts of No Nation. As we continue to expand our involvement with Hollywood, we want to leverage data and data science to make the best decisions possible. I've worked in TV since my early days of High School. Pulling wires and setting up for our sports games was exciting, and what ultimately inspired me to pursue broadcasting as a career.
After 20 years and 2700+ productions under my belt, I continue to provide quality video production expertise within my industry. My versatile field, editing and management experience has opened all sorts of fascinating opportunities in broadcast TV from a freelance and employment perspective.
The focus of my career has been dedicated to enterprise webcasts (internal and external, ranging from 500 to 500k attendees) as Lead Webcast Engineer and events that are broadcast live or taped-live for broadcast as Technical Director or Engineer-in-Charge. Some of the biggest names are clients I work with such as Chrysler, Dodge, GM, Dow Chemical, Square.com and Quicken Loans.
