DEFINITION
 Human rights are defined as all those rights which are essential for
protection and maintenance of dignity of individuals and create
conditions in which every human being can develop his personality to
the fullest extent may be termed as human rights

producing, servicing
 Social rights deal with standard of living and quality of life for all

 Looking back in the history pages of ancient times, we find that
women treated with respect in the Indian society. In the vedic age women
were educated
 However as society become orthodox, there was a change in the status.
They were confine to the four walls of kitchen occupied in rearing children.
The role of men and women were thus seperated!
 But now the social seen as considerably changed. Women all over the world
are being wducated in almost every field that men were dominated. The
knowledge if arts, science, technology, and politics, are no longer previlege
for men alone.
 You educate a men and educate one person but when you educate
women, you educate the whole family
 Women”s education is most important because she is the first teacher
of a child and it is true that
THE HANDS THAT ROCKS THE
CRADLE RULES THE WORLD
 Today women play a vital role. Her image is changed from that of a
housewife to a useful person in almost all spheres.
 It is no longer said “BEHIND EVERY MEN SUCCESS THERE IS A
WOMEN” but the new saying is “BY THE SIDE OF EVERY MEN
THERE IS WOMEN TRYING TO SUCCEED”
“EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO UNLOCK THE GOLDEN OF
FREEDOM”
 Women’s education in India has been one of the major issues of
concern for government of India as well as the society at last.
It is because women play a very significant role in overall development
of the country.
 A women has to play 3 distinct roles in life and in each roles certain
duties are expected from her
1. To be a good daughter
2. To be a good wife
3. To be a good mother
 Women needs to be educated to be a good daughter, wife and mother!!

FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND

 The three distinct aspects of the right to freedom of speech and
expression are,
1. The right to seek information and ideas
2. The right to receive information and ideas
3. The right to impart information and ideas
 Freedom of speech is the political right to communicate one’s
opinion and ideas using one’s body and property to anyone who
is willing to receive them.
 In practice’ the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any
country and the right is commonly subject to limitations as with libel,
slander, obscenity, Sedition, copyright violation, revelation of
information that is classified
BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS
 Right to receive basic human rights
 Right to have un-interrupted power supply
 Red tapism must be dropped
 Right to be without religion
 Right to fix reasonable prices
 Right against political alliances
CONCLUSION
 Protection and maintainance of human rights is a fundamental
duty of every government
 International organisation and watchdogs such as UNO,
Internatinalrights for human rights commission, etc., can play vital
role in ensuring the implementation of these basic human rights
 As humans we should know our rights and utilise it!
