Nations, which do you think is the most important? - Explain your answer and provide some
examples.
From reading all the categories of rights, I think the one that is most important is the
natural rights. Natural rights are the rights a human possesses. From the very time they went
out of their mother’s womb they acquired these rights. They are the rights above all rights and
the universal rights that any culture or government should have. The relevant thing about
natural rights is that it is the rights that cannot be taken from you compared to social and
economic rights. It stands on a humanitarian pavement to seek to develop the underlying truth
that even the societal classes cannot intervene in breaking these rights.
Some examples include the right to preserve life and the right to liberty. In the right to
preserve life, if someone threatens your life they are breaking your natural rights. There is also
the possibility for that person to defend themselves especially if they are innocent throughout
the life threatening scenario. While for the right to liberty is quite relevant to the scenario on how
Filipinos fought for liberty during the reign of the Spaniards. A person has the right to be free
from any harm and hardships they experience. These examples provided a well reasoned
explanation towards how natural rights are highly important throughout humanity.
2. In your own words, what is social justice? Provide specific scenarios that shows social justice
and ways on how top achieve social justice.
Social Justice is the perspective that each human living has equal rights of natural rights,
civil rights, political rights, and economic rights. This may sound a bit of a utopian concept but it
is an eligible perspective to acquire world peace and equity for each person. There has always
been a hindrance towards this idealism by class division, politics, and human emotions. Social
Justice is attainable but one should understand that it takes time.
An example of a scenario is having a president that understands this area of social
justice. The president’s role in this scenario since they (I will be using a gender neutral pronoun)
will be in the highest position of the country so they will be one of the biggest influences for the
people’s behavior towards achieving social justice. They can also control how the upper class
would act and they should not be easily bribed with money. First they would lessen the taxes of
the lower classes and increase the taxes of the upper classes since they earn more money. The
taxes should be used properly especially helping the poor and giving more people access to
education. Education is the key for more people to understand the existence of these rights
since they would allow them to apply this understanding in their daily life. Providing proper
education to more children and people is efficient to make social justice plausible. The society
cannot always give all the problem solving to the leader of the country but a proper way is
becoming self aware towards the attainment of this perspective. The influence of the internet
and social media can be a powerful tool to hone more people on the existence of social justice.

2. This can be a great way to grab a lot of people's attention towards changing but it also helps
share the proper information towards this. More people in the society can be hefty opened to the
older hardships of the previous generations. Specifically the context of racism, sexism, and
other shallow reasons to abuse the natural rights of a person. This allows them to become
open-minded to the past’s mistakes in destroying the harmony of society. Instead of letting
history repeat itself, why not reform society from the mistakes. This can very much change a lot
of people’s mindset towards acquiring social justice. Social Justice can be attained but it can
take one step at a time. The people in higher positions should be self aware towards fields that
are more inclined on social justice. It may be a long way before one may get to acquire this but
as time passes it can be easier. One should have a optimistic view that this may happen.
