This document summarizes a student project for developing an employee management system. The system allows administrators to manage employee records by creating, updating, deleting, and transferring employee information. Employees can update their own records and request leave. The system aims to address current issues like a lack of record maintenance, admin control, and a single source of information. It provides advantages like improved security, accuracy, admin discretion, and efficiency. Screenshots indicate the system allows HR to view employee information and employees to view their own data and request leave. The project uses JBoss 4.2 and JSP with a MySQL backend and is responsive with maintained security.
