Our Mission HR-ease’s mission is to be a premier provider of Benefits Administration, Employee and Manager Self Service solutions, by providing  excellent products, industry expertise, customer service, and support .  HR ease’s purpose is to provide a flexible solution that allows customers the ability to save time and money resulting in empowered employees and management through better communication and easier access to employee benefits and services. Our Organization Founded in 2000 in Tampa, Florida, HR-ease has been providing employee benefits enrollment and services for over eight years.  We support over 100,000 individuals of over 300 employers.  Our clients range in size from under 100 lives to many thousands of lives.  In 2003 HR-ease made the strategic decision to develop a partnership with SelectSource, a not-for-profit organization that has provided benefits enrollment services for more than 45 years.  Through that partnership significant additional depth was added to the HR-ease implementation teams and additional functionality and services were added.  HR-ease’s core offering of Online Employee Enrollment can be complemented with Data Management, Call Center services, Monthly Carrier Reconciliation, full service COBRA Administration, and FSA Administration.  By rounding out the Online Enrollment with services, we believe that our clients have the options they need.
Our Experience Our programming and implementation team has an average of over 18 years of related experience. Our executive team is actively involved in each customer’s implementation and subsequent support.  The individuals who wrote and continue to develop the software application are actively involved in each implementation, interface, and long-term client support.  Our Commitment HR-ease doesn’t just brag about our commitment to excellent products and services, we put money on the line.  We offer unparalleled Guarantees that commit us to exceed industry standards for the core aspects of products and services that we provide.  HR-ease will assign a representative to each customer who can provide both technical and functional assistance. HR-ease isn’t a typical vendor, we truly partner with our customers and continually work to improve the efficiency and productivity of our clients.  We don’t just believe in winning business, but more importantly, in keeping business. Our Results HR-ease will go above and beyond your expectations to deliver excellent service.  Since we offer full data analysis and carrier audits as a standard part of our implementation services, we generally find more in savings than our first year costs.  Most firms charge for this service but we believe it is an essential step in the long-term relationship we desire to develop with our customers.

Additional Services Available Data Management Modifications, Corrections, and weekly analysis/working of carrier error reports.  Additional data management services include monitoring and reporting on eligible employees who have not enrolled and qualified events still pending approval from management. Consolidated Invoicing Certain carriers may be presented on one invoice and paid via one bill through the TPA SelectSource.   Alternatively Self-Bill reports can be generated and  consolidated to one invoice per carrier.  Retroactive adjustments are automatically calculated across all plan types.   Carrier Bill Reconciliation Detail reconciliations reports are available that facilitate line item reconciliation.  Auto-adjudication of timing-differences makes reconciliation a cleaner, simpler, more focus task. COBRA Administration Full COBRA Administration includes generating Initial Rights Notices (General Notices), Qualified Events, and Termination Notices (Specific Notices).  All notices are sent directly to employees and dependents; monies are collected and remitted directly to carriers.  COBRA participants are included in regular interface files. Call Center Full employee level access available for extended service hours.  All calls recorded for playback and notes on calls kept in HR-ease.  Service levels are exemplary.

Example Screen Shot of Main Portal Page Icons are dynamically generated based on the date and employee rights (such as if it is Open Enrollment time – or the employee is eligible for the Initial Enrollment period).  If an employee is not eligible for an icon (such as 401k, it will not display). Notice that HR-ease can be used as a true portal solution – even to connect to other online applications like Payroll for example.  Alternatively, HR-ease can be imbedded within a client’s existing employee portal.
Example Screen Shot of Election Page All navigations are determined by the employees benefit program so if they qualify for a type of plan (such as long-term disability) it will display, if they don’t qualify, it will not be noted. Significant business rules are part of initial setup and drive the options, rates, and links available to the employees.
Example of Reports Over 100 Standard Reports are available.  All reports open in Excel or xml for easy filtering, subtotaling, sorting, and use.

Our Mission HR-ease’s mission is to be a premier provider of Benefits Administration, Employee and Manager Self Service solutions, by providing excellent products, industry expertise, customer service, and support . HR ease’s purpose is to provide a flexible solution that allows customers the ability to save time and money resulting in empowered employees and management through better communication and easier access to employee benefits and services. Our Organization Founded in 2000 in Tampa, Florida, HR-ease has been providing employee benefits enrollment and services for over eight years. We support over 100,000 individuals of over 300 employers. Our clients range in size from under 100 lives to many thousands of lives. In 2003 HR-ease made the strategic decision to develop a partnership with SelectSource, a not-for-profit organization that has provided benefits enrollment services for more than 45 years. Through that partnership significant additional depth was added to the HR-ease implementation teams and additional functionality and services were added. HR-ease’s core offering of Online Employee Enrollment can be complemented with Data Management, Call Center services, Monthly Carrier Reconciliation, full service COBRA Administration, and FSA Administration. By rounding out the Online Enrollment with services, we believe that our clients have the options they need.

Our executive team is actively involved in each customer’s implementation and subsequent support. The individuals who wrote and continue to develop the software application are actively involved in each implementation, interface, and long-term client support. HR-ease will assign a representative to each customer who can provide both technical and functional assistance. Since we offer full data analysis and carrier audits as a standard part of our implementation services, we generally find more in savings than our first year costs. Most firms charge for this service but we believe it is an essential step in the long-term relationship we desire to develop with our customers.

  • 7. Additional Services Available Data Management Modifications, Corrections, and weekly analysis/working of carrier error reports. Additional data management services include monitoring and reporting on eligible employees who have not enrolled and qualified events still pending approval from management. Consolidated Invoicing Certain carriers may be presented on one invoice and paid via one bill through the TPA SelectSource. Alternatively Self-Bill reports can be generated and consolidated to one invoice per carrier. Retroactive adjustments are automatically calculated across all plan types. Carrier Bill Reconciliation Detail reconciliations reports are available that facilitate line item reconciliation. Auto-adjudication of timing-differences makes reconciliation a cleaner, simpler, more focus task. COBRA Administration Full COBRA Administration includes generating Initial Rights Notices (General Notices), Qualified Events, and Termination Notices (Specific Notices). All notices are sent directly to employees and dependents; monies are collected and remitted directly to carriers. COBRA participants are included in regular interface files. Call Center Full employee level access available for extended service hours. All calls recorded for playback and notes on calls kept in HR-ease. Service levels are exemplary.

Example Screen Shot of Main Portal Page Icons are dynamically generated based on the date and employee rights (such as if it is Open Enrollment time – or the employee is eligible for the Initial Enrollment period). If an employee is not eligible for an icon (such as 401k, it will not display). Notice that HR-ease can be used as a true portal solution – even to connect to other online applications like Payroll for example. Alternatively, HR-ease can be imbedded within a client’s existing employee portal.

Example Screen Shot of Election Page All navigations are determined by the employees benefit program so if they qualify for a type of plan (such as long-term disability) it will display, if they don’t qualify, it will not be noted. Significant business rules are part of initial setup and drive the options, rates, and links available to the employees.
  • 14. Example of Reports Over 100 Standard Reports are available. All reports open in Excel or xml for easy filtering, subtotaling, sorting, and use.
